チャーチをたてていく！ Building the church!

今日は　「チャーチをたてていくこと」について話すね。
Today I want to talk about "BUILDING THE CHURCH"

「教会に通う」という意識から、「教会をたてる」という意識になった時、その人の中で何かが変わる。　
When someone's thoughts changes from "I'M  ATTENDING THE CHURCH" to "I'M BUILDING THE CHURCH" something changes within that person.

例えば、同じ作業でも、「レンガを積み重ねている」と思うのと、「家をたてている」と思って行うのでは全く違うように・・・
For example, even if you are doing the same task, there is a big difference between, "I am piling the bricks" and "I'm building a house."

目的意識、ビジョンをもっているとどんなことでもやりがいを感じる。　教会もそう！
People find everything exciting if they have purpose and vision. Church is the same!

最初に断っておくけど、「教会をたてていく」という風に言うのは、私が牧師の妻だからではないよ！　ルークと結婚する前から、その意識はあった（＾＾）
By the way, I am not saying "I'M BUILDING THE CHURCH" just because I'm the pastor's wife. I had that mindset before I married Luke.

ジーザスライフハウスの成長の鍵の一つは　「教会をたてていく」　という意識をもった人達がたくさんいるからだと思う。
I think the key to the growth of Jesus Lifehouse is that we have so many people who have the mindset of "BUILDING THE CHURCH."

「ロド先生の教会」、「ルークの教会」ではなく、　This is my church. 　「これは私の教会」という思いをもつことによって、みんな心が一つになる。　「彼らのビジョン」ではなく、「私達のビジョン」。　
It's not "Pastor Rod's church" or "Luke's church" but having the mindset of THIS IS MY CHURCH-ownership. Not "their vision" but "OUR VISION."

私がクリスチャンになりたての時、私にとってチャーチとは毎週日曜日「通う」場所だった。
When I just became a Christian, church was the place I WENT every Sundays.

月～土曜日まで前向きに過ごすためのパワー補給。　ガソリンスタンドみたいな感じ。　そして、大好きなクリスチャンの友達と過ごせる場所。
Church used to be the place just to recharge my energy so I can live positively from Monday to Saturday. It was like a petrol station. And it was a great place to see my Christian friends.

その当時はそれで満足していたし、たっぷり神様の愛が注がれた。
Back then that was enough and God filled his love to me all the time.　

でも、ジーザスライフハウスという教会に出会って、衝撃を受けた。
But when I started coming to JESUS LIFEHOUSE I was shocked!!!

クリスチャンになってから間もない人たちが喜びをもって仕えてた。　若いリーダーがたくさんいた。　
There were so many new Christians who were serving joyfully and there were so many young leaders.

何より、主任牧師のロド先生の器の大きさに驚いた。　
I was surprised with Pastor Rod's big heart.

ロド先生は、若いリーダーを育てていくことに対して情熱を持っているし、教える能力もずばぬけている。　また、器がでかいので、成長段階の人たちにもどんどん責任を与えてくれる。　「とにかくやってみなさい！」ってロド先生はいう。そして、失敗したらそこから学んで次に進めばいいって。
Pastor Rod has the passion to raise young leaders and he is really skilled in teaching. Also he is a big enough person to give responsibilities to those who are in the process of growing. He always say "just have a go!" and he says learn from it and move forward if we make mistakes.

それって極めて聖書的。　聖書の中で、最初から勇者ではなく、むしろその逆の臆病な人達に神様は「勇者よ！」といった。　神様はその人たちの可能性を見ていた。
And that's really bibilical. In the Bible God used to call those who are not yet warriors (actually some of them were timid people) "WARRIOR!!" God was seeing their potential.

そして、最終的には神様から言っていたとおりの「勇者」になっていく。
And those people eventually become WARRIORS just as God said.

神様はいつも私達のポテンシャルを見てくれている。
God is always seeing our potential.

ジーザスライフハウスのリーダー達もわたしのポテンシャルをみてくれた。　
In the same way, Jesus Lifehouse Leaders always saw my potential.

ロド先生や竜太さんはいつも私にたくさんの成長するチャンスを与えてくれた。　リーダーになれるから、なりなさい！って励ましてくれた。
Pastor Rod and Pastor Ryuta always provided me opportunities to grow. They encouraged me that I can become a leader so become one!

今の自分がいるのはロド先生、竜太さん、そしてライフグループリーダーが私が何もできない時から信じてくれて、育ててくれたから。
I am who I am right now because Pastor Rod, Pastor Ryuta and my lifegroup leader believed in me and trained me from before I could do anything.

初めてロド先生の通訳をした時、ぼろぼろでした（笑
First time I translated for Pastor Rod's message.... it was pretty bad (LOL)

私がチャーチに通い始めた頃、今の夫であるルークがいってた言葉が忘れられない。
I cannot forget what my husband Luke said when I just started going to church.

「ビジョンとは、リーダーだけが飛んで上から皆を引っ張っていくものではない。　周りの人たちと一緒に『僕と一緒に飛ぼう！』っていうこと。だから、一緒に神様のビジョンに飛んでいこう！飛べるから！」
"Vision is not about just the leader flying above others and him pulling people. It's about saying to others, "let's fly together!" So let's fly together towards God's vision. You can fly with me!!!"

その言葉を聞いた時、私の胸が熱くなった。　「一緒に飛びたい！」って（＾＾）　この素晴らしいリーダー達のビジョンと同じものを自分も持ちたいと思った。
His word stirred me up. "I want to fly!!" I wanted to have the same vision as my great leaders.

最高にかっこいい3人の牧師！　Coolest pastors:) 

ジーザスライフハウスの人々でチャーチをたてている！という思いの人達は喜びでいっぱい。人生が楽しくてしょうがない。教会に来ることも、奉仕することも、嫌々やっている人はいない。　教会が毎週待ち遠しい。
People who have the mindset of I'M BUILDING THE CHURCH in Jesus lifehouse are filled with joy. They love life so much. Those people are not coming to church and serving reluctantly. They can't wait until the next church!

チャーチに「通ってる」人は同年代が少ないと嘆く。　チャーチを「たてている」人は同年代が増えるように祈り、自分が誘う。
People who just "attend" the church will complain that there are not many people in their age groups. People who "build" the church will pray about it and they will bring the people.

チャーチに「通ってる」人は、最近チャーチがつまらないと思う。　チャーチを「たてている」人は「今日、チャーチで誰を励ませるか、何ができるか」わくわくしてしょうがない。
People who just "attend" the church think that church these days are boring. Those who are "building" the church is always excited about who they can encourage at church and how can they serve more!

チャーチに「通ってる」人は、チャーチで1人になってしまうことを恐れる。　チャーチを「たてている」人は1人になっている人を見つけて話しかける。
People who just "attend" the church are afraid of being alone in church. Those who are "building" the church will find someone who is sitting by themselves and talk to them.

チャーチに「通ってる」人はいつも話してるクリスチャン仲間に会いチャーチに行く。　チャーチを「たてている」人は毎週新しい人をチャーチに誘う。
People who just "attend" the church come just to meet their christian friends. Those who are "building" the church will invite new people to church every week.

チャーチに「通ってる」人は、日曜日はエネルギー補給の場所。でも月～土は神様を箱にいれて閉まってしまう。　教会と私生活をわけて考えてる。　チャーチを「たてている」人は月～土も神様一番にしている。その結果、仕事や学校生活、全てのエリアで神様が祝福してくれる。
People who just "attend" the church think of church as a place to fill in their spiritual energy tank. But on Monday to Saturday they put God in a box and compartimentalize their lives. Those who "build" the church put God first from Monday to Saturday as well. As a result they will be blessed by God in every areas of their lives.

チャーチに「通ってる」人はお金を捧げることを「減るもの」だと思う。　チャーチを「たてている」人はお金を捧げた時、そのお金で神様が何をするのかわくわくする！
People who "attend" the church will think of giving money as having less money. People who are "building" the church will get excited about what God is going to do through that money when they give!

あなたはチャーチに「通いたい」ですか？　それとも「たてたい」？
Do you want to just "attend" the church? Or do you want to BUILD the church?

チャーチをたてるのに資格はいらない。　牧師である必要もない。　ただ、神様を愛し、人々を愛し、自分の通っている教会を愛すこと！
You don't need any qualifications to build the church. You don't have to be a pastor. You just need to love God and people and your local church!

私達の思いは、ジーザスライフハウス大阪に通う一人ひとりがこの教会に根付き、　「このチャーチをたてるんだ！」というビジョンを持つこと！
Our heart is to see people in Jesus Lifehouse Osaka being planted in our church and have the vision of "I'm building the church!" 　

みんな、一緒にチャーチをたてていこう！！！　最高の人生だから！
So let's build the church together!!! 　That's the best way to live!

Lean on Him part 2 彼に頼ろう！ パート２

私のメッセージの後半にいきます！

神様に頼ることとは違うこと
What relying on God is NOT

①    何もしないこと　
It’s not about DOING NOTHING

日本語では、聖書の箇所で「待つ」という言葉によくついてくる言葉ある。それが、「望む」。
In the Japanese Bible whenever it says “WAIT”, there is usually another word that is attached to it. That word is “in expectation.”

（イザヤ４０：３１） 「しかし、神様を待ち望む者は新しく力がみなぎり、わしのように翼をはって舞い上がります
(Isaiah 40:3) "But those who wait (in expectation) on the Lord will renew their strengths and soar like an eagle."

待ち望むって言葉は受身ではない。やるべきことは全てやりつくして、あとは希望をもって神様を期待しているということ。
Waiting in expectation is NOT PASSIVE. It's about doing your best and then waiting in expectation for God to do His part.

だから、パートナーを待っている人、ビジョンを大きくもとう！自分を磨こう！笑顔で挨拶しよう。辛い状況にいる人は、よくなると信じて、良い種をまきつづけよう。
So if you are waiting for your partner, let’s have a big vision! Let’s look good! Let’s smile and talk to people. If you are in a hard situation, wait in expectation that it’s going to get better and keep on sowing good seeds!

②    身の回りでおきることがすべて神様の思いだと思うこと
Thinking that everything that happens in your life is God’s will

ある人は祈った後おこることは全部神様の心だと思って状況を変えようとしない。でも、ちょっと待って、本当にそれが神様に頼ること？
Some people accept everything that happens in their lives after praying and do nothing about it. But wait. Is that really relying on God??

新入社員時代の話。　クリスチャンになる前に決まった会社だったから、シフトワークで日曜日は多くて月２回しか休めなかった。
When I started working in a Japanese company after graduating uni, but because I decided to work there before I became a Christian, I could only have 2 Sundays off every month.

でも、神様にもっと近づきたい！ジーザスライフハウスに毎週通いたい！って思った私は目標をたてた。研修が終わったら、日曜日だけは毎週休めるようにお願いすることにした。
But because I wanted to grow in God more and wanted to come to Jesus Lifehouse church every week, I set a goal. After the training period I was going to ask my boss if I could have every Sundays off.

お願いするからには、仕事をちゃんとできていないといけないから本当に頑張った。先輩の前に出社して８時スタート。そして夜は９時まで残った。毎週日曜日休めない中、チャーチに行けた日は思い切りワーシップして、チームで仕えた。台風で駅が大洪水になっている中でもライフグループにいって当時のリーダーを驚かせた。そうやってパワーをもらってたから４ヶ月間もあっという間に感じた。　
Because I was going to ask a favor, I thought I had to do my work well so I tried my best. I came before anyone else around 8am and worked until 9pm everyday. Although I couldn’t go to church every week, whenever I could go to church I worshipped God together with people and served in a team. When there was a typhoon and the whole station was flooding I still attended lifegroup and my lifegroup leader back then was so surprised! Because God gave me the strength 4 months passed really quickly.

そして待ちに待った４ヵ月後・・・上司との面談で予想外のことを言われた。
And after 4months, when I was just about to ask my boss in the meeting, my boss told me something that I never expected.

「君はとても優秀だし、熱心だから、これからもずっとこの部署にいてほしい。トレーナーになって新しい人たちを指導していってほしい。毎週土日でてもらうことになるけど、いいね？」
“You are a great employee and great learner so we want you to stay in this department. We want you to become a trainer and train the new employees. So that will mean that you have to work every weekends.. that’s ok, right?”

その場で、「こんなにベストを尽くして祈ってこうなったのなら神様の計画かもしれない」ってあきらめることもできたと思う。
At that moment, I could have said, “Because I prayed and did my best, perhaps this was God’s plan.” And gave up on everything.

でも、それは神様の思いとは違うってわかってた。
But I knew that that wasn’t God’s will.

いつも心にとめておかないといけないのは、「これは神様とチャーチに自分を近づけるものなのか、遠ざけるものなのか」。
What we really have to think about is “Is this decision/situation going to draw me closer to God and church or pull me away from them?”

自分の中で優先順位がはっきりしていたから、祈った後に上司に伝えた。自分にとっての日曜日の意味。私のパワーの源はどこからくるのか。
I knew my priorities so after praying I told my boss. What Sunday means to me and where my strengths come from.

正直、わかってもらえるとは思っていなかった。クビを覚悟でいうだけいいたかった。最終的に、思いは伝わり、土日休みの部署に異動できた！神様は彼を一番にした時に道をまっすぐにしてくれる。
To be honest, I didn’t think he would understand. But I wanted to say that even if it meant resigning my job. But to make the long story short, my boss understood me and I was moved to a department that I could have weekends off! God will make my paths straight when I put Him first.

神様に頼るってことは決断。毎日、どの状況でも選択していくこと。
Relying on God is a decision. You have to choose to rely on God everyday in every situation.

オススメなのが、手帳とか携帯に神様にお願いしたいことを書いて祈ること。大きいことを書いてもいいけど、小さなシンプルな願いも全部書く。そして、祈りが叶ったら○とか印をつける。神様がどれだけ私達のこと願いをかなえてくれているのかがわかる。感謝の気持ちでいっぱいになって神様に頼りやすくなる。
What I want to recommend is write your requests to God down in your diaries and mobile and pray about them. It can be both big wishes and small simple wishes. And when God answers them, put a circle or a tick next to what you’ve written. Then you’ll realize how much God is answering to our prayers! And you’ll be come thankful and it’ll become easier for you to rely on God.

そして神様を頼るのに忘れてはいけないのはイエス。私達はもともとは罪（今までした悪いこと・考え・行動）によって神様に寄りかかれる場所にはいない。でも、神様は私達が神様にいつでも頼れる存在になるためにイエスを地上におくってくれた。
And we should never forget about Jesus when we want to rely on God. We are originally not in the position to lean on God because of our sins (all the things we said/done/thought wrong). But God sent His son Jesus to the earth so we can lean on God through Jesus.

イエスは人間が通るあらゆる苦しみや誘惑を通り、私達の罪を背負って十字架にかかってくれた。そして復活した。イエスを信じ、受け入れるだけで神様が寄りかかれるほど近くなる！
Jesus went through all the temptations, pains that people would experience in their lives and he was crucified to take away our sins. And then he resurrected. When we believe in Jesus and receive Him, God becomes so close for us to lean on!

自分自身が弱っていると感じる時は私を頼ってほしい

私たちにはイエスという頼れる友達がいる。彼に頼ろう！
We have Jesus our best friend who we can lean on! Let’s lean on Him!

感動しまくりの洗礼式！ LIFE CHANGING BAPTISMS!!!!

昨日はジーザスライフハウス大阪で2009年3回目の洗礼式があったんだけど・・・忘れられないぐらい感動的な一日だった！！！
Yesterday we had our 3rd baptisms of 2009 and I tell you, it was an unfogettable day!

洗礼槽にお湯をためてます！
We were filling the warm water in the baptism tank.

私達の教会はライブハウスで行っているので、洗礼式の時だけ他の教会をかりてます！
Because we have our church in the night club, we borrow other churches baptisms pool when we have baptisms.

　

洗礼式はクリスチャンにとって最大のお祝いなので、みんな集まるよ！！　
So many people come and see because Baptisms are one of the biggest Chrstian celebrations!

最初に洗礼の意味をルークと一緒に説明します！
Luke and I explained about the meaning of baptisms.

水に入った時、古い自分がイエスと共に死んだことを象徴し、水からあがってきた時はイエスと共に復活した新しい自分になったことを象徴します！
When we go in water, that represents the death of your old nature with Jesus and when you come out of the water it shows that you have resurrected with Jesus and have become new.

そして洗礼式の前にワーシップ！　元気いっぱいに賛美して、とっても楽しいムード☆
We worship together before baptisms! We sing fast songs. It's really fun!!!!

この日、洗礼を受けたのはこの3人のピカピカ・ガールズ！！！　洗礼の前からピカピカ笑顔☆　
These 3 shining girls got baptised yesterday!!! They were shining even before they got baptised :)

私のライフグループのＫも洗礼を受けたよ！　
K in my Lifegroup got baptised as well!

Ｋはイギリスで友達を通じてジーザスのことをしって、クリスチャンになった。
K became a Christian in England through her Christian friend.

日本に帰ってきてから教会がなかなか見つからず、インターネットでジーザスライフハウス大阪を見つけたんだって。
She couldn't find a church in Japan after she came back from England but she found  out about Jesus Lifehouse Osaka on the Internet.

Ｋは私の本当に可愛い妹みたいな存在！本当に大好き！
I really love K! K is like my cute little sister!!

最初にＫを出会った時になんて純粋にジーザスを愛してるんだろうって凄く感動した。
When I first met K, I was really touched how she loved Jesus with all of her heart. She said to me,

「聖書なしでは生きていけません」
"I can't live with out the Bible."

というぐらい神様の言葉が好きで、それを土台にして生きている。　本当にピュアな信仰だなって思ってた。
That's how much she loves God's word and she has God's words as her foundation. She has a really sweet spirit :)

洗礼を受ける前から輝いていてたＫだけど、この日洗礼を受けて水からあがってきた途端、Ｋが震えて大泣きしていた。
She was shining before she got baptised but when she came out of the water this day, she started shaking and crying heaps.

「今、私、世界で一番しあわせです！！！」
"I'm the happiest person in the world right now!!!"

って笑顔でいったのが忘れられない。
I can't forget that word that she said :)

Ｋは凄く辛いところを通ってきたけど、ジーザスに出会って「これが答えだ！」って思えたって言ってた。
She had a really tough past but she said that when she met Jesus, she realised that he was the answer to the things that she was looking for!

ジーザスと出会えてジーザスライフハウスのファミリーと出会えて本当に幸せです！と素敵な笑顔で話してくれたんだ。
She smiled and said, "I'm so happy to meet Jesus and Jesus Lifehouse family!"

そして当日洗礼を受けると決めたＣ！　
C decided to get baptised on the day.

洗礼を受けた後Ｃはマイクをもってクリスチャンになったいきさつを話してくれた。
After she got baptised, C held the microphone and told us how she became a Christian.

クリスチャンになる前は初対面でも恥ずかしくて人と話せなかった。　でも、ベッカから神様から自信を与えてもらえるって聞いて、ジーザスを受け入れた。
Before she became a Christian, she was super shy and she couldn't speak to people who she met for the first time. But Becka told her that God can give her confidence so she received Jesus.

今では少しずつだけど人見知りがなくなってきたし、今回初めて大勢の前で話したって・・・！
And now she is gradually changing. She can talk to new people and yesterday it was her first time speaking in front of the crowd! wow!

Ｃの内面の変化を感じたよ・・・！！！　本当にキラキラ輝いてた。
I've felt C's inner change!!! She was really shining!

そして、中国人のミッキー！
And Mickey! She's chinese :)

サムのマンションの近くのコンビニで働いていたところ、サムに誘われチャーチにきた。
She was working in the convenience store near Sam's house and Sam invited her to church.

チャーチにきた初日にジーザスを受け入れてクリスチャンになって、チャーチにきてから本当に楽しくてしょうがないっていってた！　そしてメッセージとかも毎週人生に役立つことばかり聞けて凄い助けになってるって。
She received Jesus and became a Christian on the day that she came to church and she told us how God has changed her life since she started coming to church! She said her life is great and the messages that she hears at church really helps her get through things in life.

ミッキーも洗礼を受けた途端、おお泣きした。
Mickey cried after she got baptised as well!

喜びの涙だった！！！　
TEARS OF JOY!!!

洗礼の後それぞれクリスチャンになる前となってからと話してもらったんだけど、
After they got baptised all of them shared their testimonies

Ｍは中国人なので、中国語で話した！　ジーザスライフハウス至上はじめてのトリリンガルリレー通訳！！！ 中国語→英語→日本語！　めっちゃ感動した。
and as M is Chinese, she spoke in Chinese! We had the first TRILINGUAL RELAY TRANSLATION in Jesus Lifehouse history!!! Chinese to English to Japanese! It was amazing!

ミッキーはいった。
Mickey said this.

留学で日本にきたけど、今は神様とジーザスライフハウスの皆がいるから、ぜんぜん寂しくないって。
She came to Japan to study and now because God is with her and she has Jesus Lifehouse Family she is not feeling lonely at all!

それを通訳している中、私・・・　はじめて通訳中に本気泣きしちゃいました！！！
And while I was translating... for the first time I couldn't stop crying!!!!

 

途中いきなり通訳できなくなってルークに助けを求める私（笑
I couldn't translate in the middle and I asked Luke for help!

でも考えてみたらルーク日本語に通訳できないじゃん！！
then I realised that Luke couldn't translate to Japanese! (LOL)

周りの子も泣いていて本当に感動的な瞬間だった。
Anyway, so many people were crying as well... it was such a great moment.

みんなのジーザスに人生が変えられた話を聞くと、私はこのために生きてるんだな・・・チャーチをたててるんだなって思う。
Whenever I hear about peoples lives changed by Jesus... I realise that this is what I am living for.. this is why I want to build the church!

ジーザスによって変えられて、キラキラしていく人たちをもっともっと見ていきたい！
I want to see more peoples lives changed by Jesus and shine from the inside out!

そして神様の為に、みんなで一緒にチャーチをたてていきたい・・・！
And I want to build church together with everyone for God!

最高の人生だよ！！！
This is the best life!!!!

Lean on Him! 彼に頼ろう！

最近、チャーチでメッセージをする機会が与えられてます☆　
Recently I've been giving the opportunity to preach.

通訳も大好きだけど、メッセージをするのも大好きです。　伝えたいことがあるから。。。それが伝わった時、ジーザスを受け入れた時、めっちゃ嬉しい！
I enjoy translating and speaking! Because they are things that I want to share... and I feel really happy when people understand my key message and receive Jesus!

この前、２回目のメッセージの内容をシェアするね。　時間が足りなくて省略してしまった部分ものせます。
Today I'll share my second message that I shared last time. I'll also write some things I had to cut because of the time limit.

Lean on Him  彼に頼ろう！

私達はみんな心を開いて頼れるだれかを探している。
We are all looking for someone to lean on. 

多くの人は家族、友達、恋人に頼る。でも彼らは完璧な人間じゃないから、寄りかかりすぎていると、彼らが倒れた時に共に倒れてしまう。
Many people rely on family, friends or boyfriends/girlfriends. But because they are not perfect, if you lean on them too much, you’ll collapse when they collapse.

誰にも寄りかかろうとしない人もいる。自分の力で頑張ろうとする。でもそれもしんどいし、崩れやすい。
Some people refuse to lean on others. They try to do things on their own way. But that’s really tiring and weak.

でも、私達には１００％寄りかかれる存在がいる！！　それが神様！！！
But we have someone that we can lean on 100%!!! That’s God!

 

聖書にはこうかかれている
In the Bible it says this.

イザヤ２６：３－４　
神様を信頼し、いつも神様のことに想いをはせる者を神様は何の心配もないように守ってくださいます。どんな時でも、神様を信頼しなさい。いつまでも尽きない力がいただけるのは神様だけです！

Isaiah 26:3-4
You will keep in perfect peace  him whose mind is steadfast,  because he trusts in you.
Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

箴言　３：5－６
神にも人にも喜ばれ、物事を正しく判断できるようになりたければ、徹底的に神様に頼ることです。絶対に自分を頼ってはいけません。何をするにも、神様を第一としなさい、神様がどうすればよいか教えてくださり、それを成功させてくださいます。

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make your paths straight.

神様はいつも私達にこういっていると思う。「私に頼りなさい！そうすれば大丈夫！」って。
I believe that God is saying this to us all the time.”Lean on me! Then it’s going to be okay!”

今日は徹底的に神様に頼ることについてシェアします。
Today I want to share how to completely lean on God.

神様に頼ることはどういうこと？
So what is trusting God?

①    神様のタイミングを待つこと
Waiting for God’s timing.

神様のタイミングと自分のタイミングは違う。
God’s timing and your timing is different.

この世の中、凄く便利で待つことが少ない。特に日本は食事もすぐ出てくるし、サービスも早い。
In this society, everything is convenient and we don’t wait that much. Especially in Japan food comes quickly in restaurants and people are used to quick customer service.

でも神様はその中でも、「待て」ということが多い。
But even in this world, God is often saying to us, “WAIT.”

この中で待っているものがまだ与えられてない人もいるかもしれない。仕事、結婚相手、ライフグループ。
Perhaps you are waiting for the things and not seeing anything coming yet. For example, job, future partner or lifegroup…

でも、今欲しいものが与えられていないのには、理由がちゃんとある。
But there is a reason why you God hasn’t given them to you yet.


ルークと私の話。　出会ったのは５年前だけど、その時は何もおこらなかった。３年後に再会し、付き合って１年以内に結婚した。今、思い返しても５年前に何もおこらなくて良かったと思う。神様が３年の間にルークの妻になれるように私を変えて、成長させてくれたから！
For example, about Luke and I. We met each other 5 years ago but nothing happened back then. 3 years later, we started going out and got married within a year! I’m glad that we didn’t go out 5 years ago because during the 3 years, God changed me and shaped me to become suitable to marry Luke!

伝道者の書　３：１１「神様のなさることは、すべて時にかなって美しい」って書いてある。神様のタイミングはパーフェクト！　今はわからなくても、あとで、「なるほど！」ってことが多い。
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says “God made everything beautiful in His time”. God’s timing is perfect! You might not understand now but later when you look back, you’ll go, “That’s why!”

神様に頼るということは、神様のタイミングを信頼して待つっていうこと。
Relying on God means trust and wait God’s timing.

 

②    自分がしがみついているものを手放すこと。
Letting go of what you are holding on to.

Tくんの話。　高校のときにTくんというオトコの子がいた。彼は自分のライフプランを紙に全部書いて友達全員に見せていた。その紙には彼がどの大学を卒業し、どういう仕事につき、何歳に結婚し、子供が生まれる年、退職する年すべて具体的に書かれていた！
This is the story about T. When I was in high school, I knew a guy called T. One day he wrote down all his life plans on a piece of paper. What uni he will graduate, which company he will enter, when he will get married, when he will have his children and the year of his retirement!

彼は極端だけど、多くの人が自分の計画を握り締めている。例えば、結婚相手の条件のリスト。相手の国籍や家族構成まで限定している人。
He might be the extreme case but so many people are holding on to the plans that they’ve made. For example some people have lists of the criteria of their future partner. Some people have already decided their future spouse’s nationality and family background etc.

目標をもつことは悪いことではない。でも、聖書にはこうかかれてる。
It’s not bad to have goals but the Bible says this.

（箴言　１６：１－３）　
人は計画をたてますが、その結果を決めるのは神様です。自分が正しいと思うのは簡単です。しかし、神様は納得なさいません。自分でしようと思わず、神様に任せなさい。そうすればうまくいきます。神様を無視して計画をたててはいけません。

Proverbs 16:1-3
To man belong the plans of the heart,  but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue.  All a man's ways seem innocent to him,  but motives are weighed by the LORD. Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed

自分がしがみついているもの全ていったん手放そう！　自分の設計図を白紙にした時、はじめて神様が更に最高の設計図をかいてくれる！！
Let’s let go of what you’re holding on to right now. When you make your plans blank, God will draw his plans in you.

神様を信頼することとは、自分がたてたプランではなく、神様がたててくれたプランを歩むこと。
Trusting God means, walking on God’s plan, not your plan.

③　「今」をこえてものごとを見ること
Looking beyond now

私達はよく「今」という状況だけをみて悲観的になったりあきらめたりすることが多い。でも、神様はこういっている。
We often just see today's situation and give up on things. But God says this,

イザヤ55：８－９
わたしの計画はおまえたちの考えつく計画とは違い、わたしの思いはおまえたちの思いと同じではない。天が地より高いようにわたしの道はおまえたちの道より高く、私の思いはおまえたちの思いより高い。

(Isaiah 55:8-9)
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts  neither are your ways my ways,"declares the LORD.

"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

神様の計画は私達の想像をはるかにこえている！
God's plan is way beyond our imagination.

５年クリスチャンになる決断をした時、父親に猛反対された。クリスチャンになった後も認めてもらえなかったし、親戚からもいやみを言われることがあった。　ある日、神様に叫んだ。
When I decided to become a Christian 5 years ago, my dad strongly opposed my decision. He wasn't happy after I became a Christian and my relatives sometimes said things that discouraged me. One day I cried out to God,

「神様、家族がクリスチャンじゃなくて辛いです。クリスチャンの家族に生まれてきたかった」
"God it's so hard that my family is not Christians! I wanted to be born in Christian family!"

そうしたら神様はこう答えた。
Then God said this to me.

「いずみ、それは違うよ。いずみがクリスチャンになったことで、これからクリスチャンの相手と結婚することで、いずみから先の世代からは私を知り、私を愛するようになる。いずみの決断が家系を大きく変えたんだよ。」
"Izumi, that's wrong. Because you became a Christian and when you marry a Christian person, from your generation onwards will know me and love me. Your decision has changed your family!"

「今」しかみてなくて辛いと思っていた自分の考えがかわった。私の世代からみんなクリスチャンになるんだ！それは凄い祝福だって！
That moment I started to see things beyond now. I wasn't sad anymore. I realized that my generation onwards will become Christians and that's a huge blessing!

そして、祝福された私達をみて私の前の世代もイエスを信じ、救われるって信じている。And I believe that my parents and the generations before me will see our generation being blessed by God and believe in Jesus and get saved.

反対されてクリスチャンになってから５年後、父はルークと私の結婚を誰よりも喜び、親戚も結婚式の後に、「最高の仲間がいて幸せだね」っていってくれた。
5 years after I became a Christian, my father who was against my decision was the happiest person seeing Luke and I getting married. After our wedding my relatives said, "Izumi, you have great friends!"

みんなも家族がクリスチャンじゃない人がほとんどだと思う。今辛いって思っている人もいると思う。
I believe most of you don't have Christians in your family. Maybe you are having a hard time right now.

でも「今」をこえて考えて欲しい。あなたのした決断は家系を変える凄いこと。将来うまれてきた子供がいつか必ずあなたの決断に感謝してくれる。だからあきらめないで！
But I want to encourage you to look beyond now. Your decision has changed your family. When you have children in the future, your children will be thankful about your decision. So don't give up!!!

ハバクク　２：３　
だが、わたしがしようとしていることは、今すぐには起こらない。ゆっくりと、少しずつ、しかも確実に、実行にうつされる。遅いように思えても失望するな。必ず計画通りになるのだ。忍耐して待て。ただの一日も遅れることはない。

Habakkuk 2:3
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end  and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay

 

でも、ちょっとまって、徹底的に頼るってことは、「タイミングを待つ」「自分の計画を手放し神様におまかせする」「今をこえてみる」って・・・なんか受身じゃない？　って思うかもしれない。　実際、私もクリスチャンになる前は、神様に頼るって受身だな～って思っていた。でも受身じゃない！　よくある誤解を次のエントリーであげるのでお楽しみに！！！
Maybe you are thinking, Hey wait, if trusting God is about "waiting for his timing" "giving up our own plans" "thinking beyond now" doesn't it sound passive? In fact, before I became a Christian, I thought relying on God was about being passive. But it's not passive… I 'll explain to you why in my next post!

洗礼って何? Meaning of Baptisms

今週は2009年3回目の洗礼式です！！！
This week, we are having the 3rd baptisms of 2009!!!

去年は25人に洗礼を授けたけど、今年はもっと多くなるって信じてる！！！
Last year we have baptised 25 people. But we believe that this year we are going to baptise more people!!!

洗濯機、スタバのコーヒー、ダイバーと新しいクリスチャンの共通点はなーんだ？
What does a washing machine, starbucks coffee, a scuba diver and a new christian have in common?

これらのものみんな最大の可能性に達するために欠かせないものが一つある。
Everything to reach their full potential, there is got to be one thing.

水を足すこと!!!
ADD WATER!!!

クリスチャンとして最大の可能性に達したいなら、水を足さないといけない。
If you want to full potential as a Christian, you just need to add water.

では、聖書の箇所を読んでみよう。
Let's read some scripture from the Bible

使徒2:37-38

ペテロのことばは、人々の心を強く打ちました。「それじゃあ、私たちはどうすればいいんでしょう。」 あちらからもこちらからも、使徒たちへの質問の声があがりました。ペテロは答えました。 「一人一人が、罪の生活から足を洗って神様に立ち返りなさい。 そして、罪を赦していただくために、イエス・キリストの名によってバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けなさい。 そうすれば、聖霊様という贈り物をいただけます

Acts 2:37-38
When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

使徒 8:30-35

ペテロのことばは、人々の心を強く打ちました。「それじゃあ、私たちはどうすればいいんでしょう。」 あちらからもこちらからも、使徒たちへの質問の声があがりました。

ペテロは答えました。 「一人一人が、罪の生活から足を洗って神様に立ち返りなさい。 そして、罪を赦していただくために、イエス・キリストの名によってバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けなさい。 そうすれば、聖霊様という贈り物をいただけます。その方のいのちが、地上から取り去られたからには。」

宦官はピリポに尋ねました。 「その方とは、いったいだれのことです？ イザヤは自分のことを言っているのでしょうか。 それとも、だれかほかの人のことを……。」

またとないチャンスです。 ピリポは、このイザヤのことばから始めて、旧約聖書のあちこちを引用し、イエスのことをくわしく説明しました。 さて、道を進んで行くうちに、水のある所に来ました。 すると宦官は、「ごらんなさい。 水がありますよ。 ここでバプテスマを受けてはいけない理由はないでしょう。 どうです？」と言いだしました。

「心から信じておられるなら、もちろんかまいませんとも。」 「私はイエス・キリストを神の子と信じます。」 宦官がはっきり告白したので、馬車を止めさせ、二人して水の中に入り、バプテスマを授けました。

Acts 8:30-35

Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. "Do you understand what you are reading?" Philip asked."How can I," he said, "unless someone explains it to me?" So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

The eunuch was reading this passage of Scripture: "He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before the shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouthIn his humiliation he was deprived of justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth." The eunuch asked Philip, "Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?"

Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?"And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

 

使徒１６：３１－３３

二人は答えました。 「主イエス様を信じなさい。 そうすれば、あなたも家族全員も救われますよ。」 
こうして二人は、看守とその家の者たち全員に、主のすばらしい知らせを伝えたのです。 看守は、二人の打ち傷をていねいに洗って手当てをしたあと、家族ぐるみでバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けました。

Acts 16:31-33

They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.

ここでいくつかのパターンが見えると思う。登場人物が、「イエスを信じます」といってその次のステップが洗礼だった。それは自然なステップだった。
There is a pattern here. "I believe in Jesus." and the next step was, "Let's get baptised!" It was a natural step.

マタイ３：１３－１７

そのころイエスは、ガリラヤからヨルダン川へ来て、ヨハネからバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けようとなさいました。 ところが、ヨハネはそうさせまいとして言いました。 「とんでもない。 私こそ、あなた様からバプテスマを受けなければなりませんのに。」

しかしイエスが、「今はそうさせてもらいたい。 なすべきことは、すべてしなければならないのですから」とお答えになり、ヨハネからバプテスマをお受けになりました。

イエスが、バプテスマを受けて水から上がって来られると、突然天が開け、イエスは、神の御霊が鳩のようにご自分の上にお下りになるのをごらんになりました。 １７その時、天から声が聞こえました。「これこそ、わたしの愛する子。 わたしは彼を心から喜んでいる。」

Matthew 3:13-17
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented.As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.

洗礼とは誰のものか？　So who is baptism for?　

最初の箇所では3000人の男性のためだった。この男性は女々しい男性ではなかった。強い男性だった。そして強い決断をした。
In the first scripture it was the 3000 men. These men weren't girly men. They were strong men. And they made a strong decision.

二つ目の箇所では裕福な人だった。お金持ちも洗礼を受けた。どんな経済状況だろうと全員洗礼を受けることができる。洗礼はあなたのためのもの！
And the second was for wealthy people- so it's also for wealthy people. All levels of economical situation can get baptised. It doesn't matter where you are at. Baptisms is for you!

それから家族全員がクリスチャンになり、洗礼を受けるケースがあった。だから洗礼は家族全員のためのもの。お母さん、お父さん、若者・・・イエスを知っている人全員受けた。
And then we had a situation of whole family became a christian and got baptised. So baptims are for the whole family. It's for mums, dads, young people who know Jesus.

でも、もっとも素晴らしいのはイエス自身が洗礼を受けたこと！すばらしい模範！
And the most amazing one was Jesus himself got baptised. What an incredible model!

宗教的な儀式ではなかった。聖書には、イエスが水からあがってきた時に何かが変わったって書いてある。
It wasn't a religious ceremony. The Bible says something changed when Jesus came out of the water.

イエスが洗礼を受ける前は奇跡を何一つ起こしていなかった。　洗礼を受けた後から凄い奇跡をたくさんおこした。
Did you know that before He got baptised Jesus didn't perform any miracle. Just after he got baptised Jesus started to do amazing thing.

だから洗礼は宗教的な儀式ではなく、神様があなたの心に何か凄い変化を起こす！そして、新しい生き方を始める。
So baptism is not a religous ceremony, God does something into your heart. And you step into the new way of living.

じゃあ洗礼の意味ってなに？
So what does baptism mean?

1）私は信じる　I BELIEVE

もしあなたがイエスを心で受け入れたのなら、あなたのためのもの！
If you have received Jesus into  your heart, it's for you.

イエスは完璧な人生を生きた唯一の人。しかし、十字架にかかって最悪な方法で死んだ。でも、神様はイエスを愛していたので死から復活させた！
Jesus was the only man who lived a perfect life. But he was crucified in a horrible death. But God loved him so much so he raised him from the dead.

そして、イエスをみた何百人もの人がイエスと歩み、共に話した。500人以上の人が「イエスが復活した後、彼を目撃した」と話してた。
And 100 of people saw Jesus, walked with him and talked with him. In fact 500 people said "I saw Jesus after he rose from the dead"

そして聖書にはこうかかれている。あなたの過去は洗い流され、新しい命が与えられる。
Ｔhe bible say that your old life will be washed away and he you can live a new life.

それを信じているのなら、洗礼を受けるべき！
So if you believe it, you should get baptised.

「じゃあ、それって１００％確信がないとうけないほうがいいってこと？」というかもしれない。
"So does that mean I have to be 100%?"

でも、秘密を教えるね・・・　　１００％になることはない！！！
Can I tell you are little secret? You'll never be 100%！！！！

いずみと結婚する前、いずみと結婚するべきだって１００％確信はなかった。でも、結婚した後に、「何を馬鹿なこと考えてたんだろう！最高だ！”って思えた。
For marrying Izumi, I (Luke)wasn't 100% sure before I got married. But after I got married, I realised "what was I thinking!? It's so good!"

洗礼も同じ。１００％確信がなくても洗礼を受けると、今までした中で最高の決断だっていう確信が持てる！
Same as getting baptised. Although you are not 100%, when you step over the line you'll realise that was the best decision that you've made.

2)　私は属してる　 I BELONG

私はイエスに属している。もう私は自分勝手な人生を生きていない。今はイエスと一緒に生きている。洗礼は自分はもうイエスの為に生きていると旗をかかげること。
I belong to Jesus. I'm no longer living my selfish life, but now I'm living a life with Jesus.
Baptism is about raising your flag and showing that you're living for Jesus.

昔は「洗礼」というのは日常に使われる言葉だった。もともとは「つかる」という意味。完全にひたるという意味。
Back in the old days, baptism used to be a everyday normal word. It means to "Immerse." To go under fully.

だから王や色々な人が洗礼を行っていた。実際に新しい王が王位についた時、彼の部下に洗礼を受けさせてた。彼らの王にたいする忠誠心を証明していた。
So kings and everyone used to do baptisms. In fact when a new king came over to rule over he baptised his people. And that meant that their loyality was with him.

じゃあ、イエスはなんと言っているのか・・・
So what's Jesus say?

イエスはこういってる。「私と一緒にいてほしい。」「私の国があなたの国にもなってほしい。」「私がもっているすべてをあなたに与えてあなたを祝福したい」
Jesus is saying, "I want you to be with me." "I want my kingdom to be your kingdom" "I want to give you all that I have and bless you."

洗礼は皆に自分はイエスと共にいることを示す一つの方法。
Baptism is the way to show everyone that you are with Jesus!

今現在、世界中に１０億人以上が神様の家族！そして、あなたもクリスチャンになった時、その家族の一員になる。
Right now around the world there are 1 billion people who are in the family of God.
And when you become a christian you born into the family.

じゃあ、洗礼を受けることで、クリスチャンになるってこと？
So does baptism mean that you are a Christian?

洗礼とクリスチャンになることは違う。　イエスに「イエス様私が今までしたことを赦してください。そして私の人生に入ってきてください」と祈った時にクリスチャンになる。
No it doesn't. You become a Christian when you say to Jesus, "Jesus please forgive me all the wrong things that I've done and come into my life."

その瞬間にイエスとの関係がはじまる。
At that moment you can start a relationship with Jesus.

3) 態度を変える　I BEHAIVE

「私の生き方を変える」という意味。
It means "I'm changing the way I live."

僕（ルーク）は昔ボクシングをしていた。人を傷つけるのが大すきだったし、周りの人が自分のことを恐れている状態が大好きだった。　イエスに出会うまでは。
I(Luke) used to be a boxer. I used to love hurting people. And everyone was afraid of me and I loved it. Until I met Jesus.

僕の心の中の何かが変わり、もう人を傷つけたくなくなった。人を愛したくなった。僕の態度が変わった。洗礼を受けるとそういう変化が起こる。　しがみついていたふるいゴミの性質を捨てて、新しい命を得ることができる！
Some thing in my heart changed and I didn't want to hurt people anymore. I wanted to love people. My behaiviour changed. That happens when you get baptised. I can let go of the old junk that used to hold me back and have a new life

みんなに質問があります！
So let me ask you this question

洗礼を受ける準備ができているのかがどうやってわかる?
How do you know that you're ready to get baptised?

あなたは福音を聞いた？　イエスが地上でいきて、あなたの命を救ったことを信じ、受け入れる？　周りにクリスチャンだって伝える準備はできてる？ 成長しつづけて神様にかえ続けてほしいっておもってる？
Have you received the Gospel? Have you received the story that Jesus came to earth to save your life and do you receive that? Are you willing to raise your flag?　Are you ready to keep on growing and let God change you?

もし、答えが「はい。」なら準備はできてる！
If yes, then, you are ready.

とても自然なプロセスだから洗礼を受けよう！！！
It's a natural step, so let's get baptised!!!!

プリンセス・ナイト☆ PRINCESS NIGHT

この前、ジーザスライフハウス大阪で女性だけのイベント、「プリンセス・ナイト」がありました！！！
Last time the girls of Jesus Lifehouse Osaka organized a womens' event called "PRINCESS NIGHT".

ヘアスタイリング、マニキュア、マッサージ、ビーズ作りを通して、女の子にますます輝いてもらおうという目的のイベント☆
The purpose of this event was to make the girls shine from the inside out through activities like manicure, hairstyling, massages and beads making!

30人以上の女の子が集まったよ！
More than 30 girls came to this event!

参加者は、「マニキュアとマッサージ」・「髪」を選択し、デモンストレーションをみることができた！
The participants were able to select either "Manicure&Massage" or "Hairstyling" to see the demonstration.

つめが綺麗だと女子力ＵＰだよね☆
Girls with beautiful nails look really girly :)

自己流で美容師並みのスキルをもつサム・・・！
Sam is like a hair-dresser! It's amazing how she learned all the skills by herself.

彼女に手にかかると、女性も男性も素敵に変身！
When she cuts guys/girls hair they become more attractive :)

今回はヘアアイロンの使い方をレクチャーしてくれた。　周りから、「ほおおお」って声が聞こえたよ！
This time she taught us how to use hair straightners. People were amazed!

みんなで習ったことを実践！
We were able to challenge what we were taught :)

変身！　可愛い!!!!
Great makeover! So cute :)

みんな綺麗になっていく自分をみてキラキラしてた！！！
Girls were shining seeing themselves looking more beautiful.

そして、次にみんなでビーズでイヤリングを作った！
After, we made earrings out of beads :)

色々な形や色のパーツから、自分だけのオリジナルなイヤリングをつくることができた！
By using different shapes and parts, we were able to make our original earrings.

本格的で、可愛い♪　しかも２００円以下ぐらいのコスト！
They looked really cute! The cost was even below 200yen each.

そして、ガールズそれぞれ着なくなった服やアクセサリーをもってきて、好きなものを持って帰ってＯＫという企画もたてた！
Also, we brought clothes/jewelry that we didn't wear anymore. People could just take them home if they liked something there.

みんな可愛くて、けっこう持ち帰り率高かったよ～
People brought nice clothes so many people took them home!

最後に新聞紙でプリンセスファッションをデザインするゲームをした！　各チーム本当にクリエィティブだった！！！
In the end we played a game of making a princess dress out of newspaper. Every team was so creative!

本当にみんなイベントの終わりにはキラッキラになってました！！！！
Everyone was shining more and more through out the event.

マタイ５章にわたしたちは世の光だと書かれてある。
In Matthew 5 it says that we are the light of the world.

すべての女の子はダイアモンドのように輝くためにつくられた。
All the girls were made to shine like diamonds.

でも、罪（今までした間違った考え・発言・行動）によって神様からデザインされたとおりに輝くことができない。
But because of sin (wrong thoughts, words, action in the past) we cannot shine as God designed us.

ジーザスを受け入れて神様を知った時、内側からかえられて外側もどんどんピッカピカに輝いていく！
But when we receive Jesus and know God, our inner selves will change and start shining from the inside out!

もう人と比べなくていい。　つくったビーズのイアリングのように全く同じデザインの子はいないから。自分のデザインを愛せるようになる。
We don't have to compare with others anymore. There is no one like you, just like the original earrings that we made. You can love your own design once you know God.

これからもジーザスと出会ってピカピカになっていくガールズをみていきたいです！！！
I want to see more girls receive Jesus and shine more and more!!!

みんな神様から愛されてるよ！！！！！！！
You girls are all loved by God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

神様からくる自信（後半） Confidence in God (FINAL)

メッセージ、「自信」の後半です！
This is the second half of "CONFIDENCE"

どうやってもっと自信を持てるようになるのか?
So how can we be  more confident about ourselves?

①    聖書を読み、ジャーナルをつける
Read the Bible and journal

聖書は神様からのラブレター。聖書を通して、自分のクリエイター神様の凄さ、ジーザスが自分の為にしてくれたことがわかる！
The Bible is the love letter from God. By reading the Bible, we get to know the greatness of our creator, God and what Jesus has for us.

また、自分が信じていた嘘を神様の言葉に置き換えていくことが大事。
Also you need to replace the lies that you've been believing to God's word.

例えば、ニキビの話。数年後、体質が変わってニキビができなくなったんけど、自信をもって人の目を見られるようになるまで時間がかかった。 肌がきれいって言われても信じられなかった。
For example, about my pimples, although few years later I didn't have any pimples because my nature has changed,  it took me a while to look at people in their eyes. Even though people said my skin was beautiful, I couldn't believe them.

同じように私達もイエスを受け入れて、新しい完全な存在にされているのに、昔の考えが残っている場合もある。
In the same way, sometimes after we become new by receiving Jesus, our thoughts can be still old.

(ローマ１２：２) に考え方一新、まったく新しくしなさいって書いてある。
In Romans 12:2, God says renew your mind.

ジーザスライフハウスですすめているジャーナルがすごく効果的！　毎日神様の言葉を読んで、どう実践できるのか書くことによって、考えが変わり、行動が変わる！　
That is why Journaling is so important! We emphasize the importance of journaling in Jesus Lifehouse. By reading God's word everyday and writing how you can apply that into your life your thoughts will change and actions will change!

聖書はただの物語ではない。人生をかえる力がある神様の言葉で詰まっている！
Bible is not just a novel. It's filled with God's word that can change your life!

②    教会やライフグループにきて、神様の自信をもっている人たちと一緒にいる！
Come to church and lifegroup and be with people who are Confident in God.

教会は、「できる！」って励ましてくれる人たちの集まり。
Church is the place where you can meet people who will encourage you that "YOU CAN DO IT!"

この教会も、いつも新しいことをするチャンスが与えられる最高の環境。ポジティブな仲間がいるから、「できる！」って自信がつく。
Our church provide the best environment to try new things. Because we have positive friends here, you will be confident and develop "CAN DO SPIRIT."

今自信がない人も、神様を知らないけど変わりたいって人も、とりあえず毎週教会にきつづけてみて！ここにいる人たちでも最初自信がなくて静かだったのに、きつづけて変わってきて今ではピッカピカの笑顔の人たちがたくさんいる。
So if you are not confident today or if you don't know God but you want to change, just keep on coming to church! I've seen so many people who used to be quiet at first changed as they started coming to church everyweek and now they have shining smiles!

でも、結局のところ・・・　一番大事なことは、ピリピ４：１３に書かれてあるように、
私達を強めてくれるジーザス、イエスキリストを通してすべてのことができる！って自信がもてる。
But afterall, what is really important is written in Phillipians 4:13. We can be confident because we can do everything through Jesus Christ who gives us strength.

すでにイエスキリストを心で受け入れた人で今日自信のない人たちにいいたいことがある！
If you have received Jesus in yoru heart and not confident today I want you to know about this.

わたしたちの心は以前暗闇におおわれていたけど、イエスを受け入れたことで今は神様からの光であふれている！内面が光で輝いている！
Before we received Jesus we used to live in darkness, but because we received Jesus we are filled with God's light. We are shining in the inside.

聖書の登場人物のパウロは、イエスを通して「必要なものは何でもそろっています。それどころか、必要以上に満たされています！」と確信をもっていた。
Paul in the Bible said, "I have everything that I need, in fact, I have more than I need." He was confident through Jesus.

その同じイエスが私達の中にすんでいる。そのことを知ってほしい。もっと神様に目をむけて、自信を与えてもらおう！
And the same Jesus lives in us. I want you to know. Let's focus on God more and be confident!

そして、今日はじめてイエスのことを聞いた人、受け入れてない人に伝えたいことがある。
And if you heard about Jesus for the first time or if you haven't received Jesus yet, I want to tell you this.

自信を持とうとして頑張っても、必ず疲れてしまって、限界がきてしまう。
If you try to be confident by your own strength, you are going to be exhausted and you will reach your limit.

そこで神様は私達に無料の贈り物を与えてくれた！
That's why God has given us the free gift.

イエス・キリスト。彼が私達の罪を背負って十字架にかかり、復活した！
That is Jesus Christ. He died on the cross for us for our sins and then resurrected!

聖書には、私達がただイエスキリストを信じます！ってただ心の中で受け入れて、祈るだけで、神様との関係をスタートできるって書かれている。今まで埋まらなかった心の穴が埋まり、喜びで満たされる！
In the Bible, it says we can start a relationship with God when we say, "I believe in Jesus!" and pray the prayer. Your hole will be filled with JOY!

もう一度聞きます。あなたは自分に自信がありますか？
So I'll ask you again. Are you confident about yourself?

ホンモノの自信は神様から無条件に愛されているということからきます！　
Real confidence comes from knowing that we are loved unconditionally by our God. You j

シンプルに受け取ればいいだけだから、今日イエスキリストを受け取って、揺るがない自信を与えてもらいませんか？
You just need to receive it so why don't you receive Jesus today and receive confidence and security.

イエスを受け入れた時、あなたの体質は変わる。　神様があなたに新しいラベルを貼ってくれる。
When you receive Jesus, your nature changes. God will put on a new label on you.

そのラベルにはこうかかれてる。
The label says this.

あなたは愛されてる。あなたは価値がある。あなたは私の子供。
You are loved. You are valuable. You are my child.

神様からくる自信 Confidence in God part 1

We can't find my message that I preached few weeks ago, so I'll just post it here.

「神様からくる自信」について話しました！
I talked about "Confidence in God"

昔、私はクリスチャンになる前はスーパーシャイでした・・・！（デパートでのエピソード・・・詳細は私に聞いてください（笑））
I used to be super shy before I became a Christian...! (Please ask to me what happened at the department store.. I've got a story)

そんな私が何で変われたのか？　ジーザスを受け入れて、神様から自信を与えられたから！
So how did I change? I became confident since I received Jesus.

昔の私のように、この世の中には、「出来ない精神」の人がいっぱいいると思う。
I think so many people in this world have "CAN'T DO SPIRIT". I used to be like that before.

例えば、「面接でありのままの自分を出すことができない」という人。　
「良い仕事につくことなんてできない」という人。　
「良いパートナーにめぐり合うことなんてできないし、結婚してもルークといずみがいつもいってるずっとラブラブなのは無理。」っていう人。
For example, some people say "I can't be myself in interview."
" I won't get a good job"
"I won't meet a good partner, even I get married I don't think we can love each other forever like Luke and Izumi say."

多くの人が嘘を信じてしまっている。
So many people believe in lies.

周りの人、またあなた自身が貼ってしまった、「自分には価値がない・できない・変われない」と嘘のラベルを貼っている。
So many people have false labels  like "I am not valuable, I can't or I can't change." We let others or even ourselves have those labels.

でも、聖書にはこうかかれている！！！
But the bible says this!!!

（ピリピ４：１３）「私は私を強めてくれるキリストによってすべてのことができるのです！」
(Philppians 4:13) "I can do everything through HIM (Christ) who gives me strength."

イエスを受け入れる時、神様が嘘のラベルをはがしてくれる！　そして新しいラベルをはってくれる！そのラベルにはこうかかれている。
But when we receive Jesus, God will take off the false labels. And He will put on the new labels!!! The new label says this.

「あなたは価値がある、あなたは愛されている、あなたは私の子供。」
"You are valuable. You are loved. You are my child."

ここで、このブログを読んでるあなたに質問があります。
Whoever is reading this blog today,  I have a question for you.

「あなたは自分に自信がありますか？」
"Are you confident about yourself?"

この質問に対してＹＥＳと答えられる人は少ない。　この世の中には自信がない人がたくさんいる。
Not many people respond, "YES" There are so many people lacking confidence in this world.

なんでだろう？
Why?

情緒不安定だから？　自己価値が低いから？　恐れがあるから？
Does it come from being emotionally unstable? Low self-esteem? or fear?

聖書にはこれらのものは「罪」からきているといわれている。
In the bible, it says these things come from "SIN"

罪は私たちがしてきた間違った行動・考え・発言
Sin is all the wrong things we have said, done or thought.

ローマ３：２３にはすべての人が罪を犯し、神様の標準とは程遠い存在になっていると書かれている。
In Romans 3:23 said, everyone has sinned and we are far away from God's standard.

罪によって私達の心の中に大きな穴ができてしまっている。色々なもので埋めようとしても埋まらない。いつも「何か欠けている」気がしてしまう。
Because of sin, we have a huge hole inside us. Although we try to fill this whole it cannot be filled. We always think that we are missing something.

信じられないかもしれないけど高校生の時に顔中ニキビだらけだった。
You might not believe this but I used to have lots of pimples when I was in highschool.

一つなくなっても朝起きたら新しいのが二つできてるかんじ。　痛いし、醜いし、恥ずかしかった。　自信を失ってしまって、人の目が見れなくなった。外に出るのも億劫になった。
Even one disappeared, I found two new ones the next morning. It hurts, looked bad and I was embarrassed. I lost confidence and I couldn't look at people in the eyes. I didn't want to go out.

罪も同じ。痛いし、恥ずかしいし、隠したい・・・。でも、どんなに頑張っても自分ではどうすることもできない。
Sin is the same. It hurts, it's embarrassing and you want to hide it. But you can do nothing about it no matter how hard you try!

でも、もしイエスを受け入れるというステップを踏んだなら、あなたの体質はもう変わったんです！！！
But if you have taken the step to receive Jesus today, your nature has changed!!!

(ローマ３：２２) 神様は今、もしあなたがイエスキリスト信じきるのなら、あなたがたを受け入れ、罪のないものと宣言するといわれます。どんな人間であろうと、私達はキリストを信じきるという、この方法によって救われるのです。
(Romans 3:22) This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

イエスを通して神様の目からみて私達はもう完全な存在になった！！！
We are now complete in God's eyes through Jesus!!!

神様から与えられた自信を持つことができる！
We can be confident in God!

じゃあ、神様からくる自信って何？
So what is being confident in God?

①    自分をつくってくれたクリエイター（創造主）を知っている。
Knowing your creator.

私とルークは、説明書を読まない。
Luke and I don't read the instructions.

新居に引っ越した時、家具をＩＫＥＡで揃えたから、組み立てないといけなかった。そこで、チャーチのカップル達がきてくれた。
When we moved into our new house, we bought all the furniture in IKEA so we had to build it. So the couples in church came to help us to build them.

そして、ペアになって組み立てはじめたんだけども、ルークといずみ・・・説明書を読まないから、形がなんかおかしい。　「部品たりないんじゃないの？」とかＩＫＥＡを疑ったり・・・結局余計時間がかかってしまった。
So we got into pairs and started building... but Luke and Izumi didn't read the instructions so after a while, we started saying, "Hey this looks funny", "Hey I think we're missing parts" and started doubting IKEA. It took longer that it should have!

そこで、　よしととやよいがこういった。
And then Yoshito and Yayoi said this to us,

「説明書をよみなよ！」（笑）
"Read the instructions!" (LOL)

私達もよく自分の説明書を読まなかったりする。
We often don't read the instructions for ourselves!

わたしたちを創ってくれたクリエイターは神様で、この聖書は私達の人生のマニュアル本。
God is our creator who created us and the Bible is our instructions book.

聖書は人生に対する答えがすべてのっている。説明書を読んではじめて、商品のつくられた目的、機能、組み立て方がわかるように、私達もクリエイターの神様に直接尋ねることが大事！
You can find all the answers to the questions in life in the bible. When you read the instructions you will know the purpose of the product, its function and how to build it. So we need to ask God, our creator!

今日の星座ランキングをあてにしてはいけない。あなたのことを知らない人が作ったものだから。
Don't rely on today's horoscope. Those who made that doesn't know about you at all.

でも神様は私達のことを細かい部分まで知っている！それどころか最高の計画を生まれる前からたててくれた！
But God knows every details of us. Not just that but he has made the best plans for our lives.

電化製品を買うときにメーカーを重要視する人が多い。何でかというと、知られてるメーカーだと信頼性がある。みんなクオリティが高いことを疑わない。
When people buy electric appliances, they tend to look at the manufacturer. If it's well known, it's trustworthy and people expect the product to be good quality.

私達の自信は自分が凄いからくるのではない。
We are not confident because from how great we are.

私達を創ってくれた神様のすごさを知れば知るほど、自分に自信が持てるようになる！　何故なら完璧な神様は絶対にゴミはつくらないから！　
The more we know about how great God is, we can be confident about ourselves! Becuase God doesn't make rubbish!

（エペソ１：４）「神様は私達をご自分の目からみて、何一つ欠点のない、きよい者にしようとお定めになりました。
(Ephesians 1:4)  For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

メーカーが完璧だから、私達もクオリティが高い存在としてつくられているという確信がもてる！
Because our manufacturer is perfect, we can be confident that we are high in quality.

②    自分の感情に頼らず、神様の言葉を信じている
We are not relying on our own emotion but believing in God's word

自分をどう思っているのかって感情に頼ったら、不安定になってしまう。感情というのはコロコロ変わる。
If we rely on our own emotions, we will become unstable. Because our feelings change all the time.

感情に頼るってこういうこと：　ある日、朝起きて鏡を見たとき、「今日俺の髪、きまってる～！俺ってかっこいい！」ってなって自信たっぷりな日もあれば、ある日顔がむくんでいて、「最悪！誰にもあいたくない！」ってなる。
If we rely on emotions it will be like this: One day we wake up in the morning and say, "Wow my hair looks cool today! I'm quite good looking!" and then be confident. But the next day, you will see your face puffed up and say, "I look terrible today! I don't want to see anyone."

私達が自分のことをどう思うのかではなく、神様が自分をどう思っているのか知ることが大事！
Don't think about how you think about yourself but know how God thinks about you!

もし自分がアップダウン激しいな～って思っていたら、神様のことをもっと考えてみて。
鏡を見る前に、「神様今日もありがとう！」って言おう。
If you are emotionally unstable, think about God more! Before you go to the mirror in the morning say to God, "God good morning! Thank you for today!"

ヘブル１２：２に他のものから目をそらし、イエスキリストに目をむけなさいって書いてある。
感情は移り変わるけど、イエス・キリストは昨日も今日もこれからもいつまでも変わることがない。
In Hebrews 12:2 it says, have your eyes fixed on Jesus. Our feelings change but Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever!

③　間違っても大丈夫なことを知っている。
Know that it's okay to make mistakes.

クリスチャンになっても失敗はする。落ち込むことだってある。
Christians still make mistakes. We have times that we feel sad.

あるクリスチャンは、失敗をしたら「もう取り返しがつかない！」って神様から、教会から逃げてしまう人もいる。
Some Christians just run away from church and God when they make one mistake.

でも、忘れてはいけないこと・・・神様はとっくにあなたが完璧ではないことを知っている。
But don't forget this. God already knows that you're not perfect.

イエスを通して、無条件の愛でありのままの私達を愛してくれている。
Through Jesus God loves us unconditionally, just the way we are.

私はよくつまずく。だから、階段をおりることは自分にとっては大アドベンチャー！！！
I trip over alot. So just walking down the stairs is a big adventure!

でも、結婚してから、安心して階段を降りられること。　なぜなら、夫のルークが私の前を歩いてスタンバイしてくれているから。例え転んだとしても、ルークが引き上げてくれることを知っている。
But since I got married, I can walk down feeling safe. That's because my husband Luke makes sure that I won't trip over and walks infront of me. Even when I trip over, I know that Luke will lift me up.

 

でも、もっと凄いのは私達にはいつも共に歩いてくれているイエスという存在がいる。いつも守ってくれているし、例え転んでも、助けを呼べばイエスが引き上げてくれるから大丈夫！
What's more amazing is that we have Jesus who is always walking with us. He always protects us and when we trip over, if we ask for help, Jesus will lift us up so we feel safe!

神様からくる自信というのは、失敗してもイエスを通して神様から赦され、愛されていることを知っていること!!!
Confidence in God means that even we make mistakes we know that God has forgiven us through Jesus!!!!

じゃあどうやってもっと自信を持てるようになるのか・・・・　続きます・・・・！（笑）　お楽しみ～！！！
So how can we be more confident??? I'll post that later! (LOL) Please look forward to that!

Last time our friend, Kat came to Osaka for her live.

KATは2007年にメジャーデビューして、あの“なごり雪”を英語と日本語をミックスした“ナゴリユキ”としてカバーした。
She became recording artist in 2007 and covered the song "NAGORIYUKI" in English and Japanese mixed version.

喜びでいっぱいの結婚生活 joyfully married :)

お久しぶりです☆
Hello, it's been a while since my last post.

ゴールデンウィークも終わってしまいましたね・・・みんなは楽しいＧＷを過ごせたかな？
We just finished Golden week... did you enjoy your golden week?

つい最近、チャーチのＫすけの誕生日ＰＡＲＴＹを祝いました！！！
Recently we celebrated K's birthday :) He is from our church:)

チャーチの結婚組です☆　
The married couples in church.

みんなで肉をもちよって焼肉ＰＡＲＴＹ！　鉄板焼き2台使ったよ！
We all brought our own meat and did YAKINIKU party! We used 2 hotplates.

 

凄い量の肉をみんなで食べました・・・！　あっという間になくなった。
We ate soooo much meat! It disappeared real quick.

レタスに巻いたり、キムチと食べたりして美味しかったよ☆
We wrapped the meat in lettuce and ate it with Kimuchi... it was delicious!

クリームが苦手なＫすけの為にチーズケーキをつくったＹみ。
His wife Y made cheese cake because K can't eat cream.

なんて可愛いのでしょう・・・（＾＾）　愛がこもっていて、美味しかった！
How cute... :) The cake was delicious! Lots of love in it!

おめでとう！Ｋすけ！　今年は特別な一年になるね・・・（＾＾）
Congradulations K! It's going to be a special year for you... :)

うちのチャーチのカップルは本当にみんな楽しい人たち。笑が絶えない。最高の友達。
The married couples in church are all funny and great people! We never stop laughing ! They are our great friends.

日曜日のルークのメッセージ、「私はすでにハッピー」でいってた。
Luke shared on Sunday in his "I am already happy" message.

クリスチャンの結婚生活は「ハッピー♪」というのとは違うって。
Christians aren't HAPPILY MARRIED.

ハッピーというのは、感情や状況によってころころ変わるもの。
Happiness changes according to emotions and situations.

でも、クリスチャン同士の結婚というのは、ハッピー以上のもの！
But Christians are more than HAPPILY MARRIED!

喜びがある。　最高の結婚生活は築くもの。　選択していくものだし、戦って守るもの。
We are joyfully married. We need to build great marriage. It's a decision. It's something we have to fight for.

よく結婚している人たちから、「○○年説」を聞く。
Often I hear, "Love only lasts -- years."

愛情は○○年でさめるって。
People will fall out of love after -- years.

でも、周りのクリスチャンのカップルは結婚年数が増えれば増えるほどラブラブの熱々！！！
But the Christian couples around me are loving each other more and more the longer they are married!

普段からめっちゃラブラブなロド先生とビブ先生はジーザスライフハウスの模範夫婦です！　二人をみて結婚観が変わったという人が多い！（＾＾）
Pastor Rod and Viv are lovely dovey all the time :) They are the model married couple in our church. So many people changed their view towards marriage by seeing them joyfully married!

すでに結婚7週間目にして聞かれることが、「結婚生活どう？」っていうことなんだけど・・・
We've been married for only 7 weeks and people already ask us, "So how is married life?"

最高だって期待していたけどそれ以上に・・・・
We always expected that it swould be great but it's

最高！！！！　幸せです（＾＾）
even better than our expectations...!!! We are soooo blessed!!!

神様が真ん中にいて、愛はますます強くなっていきます！！
Our love towards each other gets stronger and stronger with God in the middle.

私とルークのビジョンの一つが、チャーチ内で付き合って結婚していくカップルをもっと見ていくこと♪
One of Luke and my vision is to see more couples in our church and marrying them!!!

今年はもっと結婚とかリレーションシップトークをしていくので、お楽しみに！！！
We are going to share more about relationship and marriage this year so please look forward to that!!!

ネクストレベル セキュリティー NEXT LEVEL SECURITY

カンファレンスで、お腹をかかえて笑う場面がいくつかありました！
During the conference, there were times that we couldn't stop laughing!

その一つが、夜のセッションが始まる前に見れるアイス・ブレイカー。
One of them was during the Ice-breakers, before the night sessions.

めちゃめちゃクリエイティブ！
They are soooooooo creative!

その発想どこからくるの！？　っていう脚本とそれを実現してしまう役者揃い・・・・
I was surprised with how they came up with that script and the actors who made it happen!

2日目にみた　「ネクストレベルセキュルティー」がYOUTUBEにアップされたので、のせます！
I'll post the NEXT LEVEL SECURITY that we saw on the 2nd night.

裏方のセキュリティチームをプロモートするものです・・・
This is to promote the security team

来年はこれで、セキュリティボランティア希望殺到か！？（笑）
would this cause many people to sign-up for security team next year!? (LOL)

カンファレンス最高だった！ Best Conference Ever!!!!

東京から帰ってきたよ♪
We're back from Tokyo...

ジーザスライフハウスカンファレンス２００９は言葉通りに・・・・
Jesus Lifehouse Conference 2009 was...

すべての面でネクストレベルだった！！！　
NEXT LEVEL in every way!

ワーシップ、メディア、パフォーマンス・・・クリエイティブ面でも凄かった・・・。
Worship, Media, Performance... they were soooo creative!　

クリスチャンではない人たちが2日間の間に400人以上きて、その中で40人がイエスを受け入れる決断をしたこと！！！
More than 400 non-Christians came and 40 of them received Jesus!!!

神様は確実に日本で動いてる！
God is definitely moving in Japan!!!　

今回、一番感動したのは、やっぱり230人以上の最高のボランティア達！
What really touched me was seeing our volunteers. More than 230 people volunteered.

東京のジーザスライフハウス、大阪のジーザスライフハウスと他のチャーチから手伝ってくれた人たちもいた☆
People from Tokyo Jesus Lifehouse, Osaka Jesus Lifehouse and other churches got together.

早朝のボランティアラリーでもみんな興奮していて、テンション高かった！（笑）
Everyone was pumped from the morning Volunteers Rally!

教会にとって一番の資産は「人々」だってスティーブ牧師もいってたけど、本当にそうだと思う。
Pastor Steve said the best asset of the church is PEOPLE. And I believe that is sooo true!

ジーザスライフハウスの人々は本当にそれぞれ得意分野をもっていて個性豊か。そんなみんなが一致して仕える姿が凄かった。　
Jesus Lifehouse people are all gifted and unique. So them getting together and serving for one purpose were so powerful.

特に裏方のボランンティア達は本当にすばらしかった！
I want to give credits for the behind-the-scenes volunteers

セキュリティチーム Security team

メディカルチーム Medical Team

バックステージチーム Back Stage Team

いつもスタンバイしていないといけないため、セッションもほとんど参加できないんだけど、彼らはいつも笑顔で万全のサポートをしてくれていた。
They missed out most of the sessions because they had to do their roles but they were always smiling and supported us so much.

本当にありがとう！　みんな最高だよ！
Thank you everyone! You guys are AWESOME!

また今回のカンファレンスがネクストレベルだったのは、
Another thing that was NEXT LEVEL was that

一人ひとりが本気でアウトリーチをしていたこと。
everyone participating in outreach!

数ヶ月前から、渋谷とか街で出会った人たちをこのカンファレンスに誘ってた。
People were doing outreach from few months ago in Shibuya and other cities.

1ヶ月前からアウトリーチキャンペーンをして、多くの日本人達も街へ出て行ってたくさんの人にフリーチケットを渡してカンファレンスに誘っていた。
One month before the conference, they did OUTREACH CAMPAIGN and many Japanese went out to hand out free tickes of Conference.

カンファレンス一日目も、みんな新宿に出て行ってたくさんの人たちを誘ってたんだよ！
Also on the first day of Conference the volunteers went out to invite people to come!

その成果があって、2日間にあたって400人の神様を知らない人たちが集まってくれた！！！　凄かった！
We saw the fruit of that. In 2 days, 400 non-Christians came!!! It was amazing!!!

ネクストレベルに入って日本人は気づいた。
The Japanese realised when they entered the next level.

「日本人だって日本人に伝えられる！！！」って。
"Japanese can reach out to the Japanese as well!"

教会の一人ひとりも気づいた。
And everyone in church realised,

「アウトリーチ（知らない人に伝えること）はプログラムとかに頼ることじゃなくて、ライフスタイルなんだ！」って。　
"Outreach is not about relying on programs but it's a lifestyle!"

そんなみんなが一致したとき、本当に凄いことが起きた。
So when these people got together, something amazing happened.

体を張ってます（笑）
We use anything to draw attention (LOL)

多くの人が興味をもってくれるんだよね。
So many people were actually interested

目立つ目立つ（笑）　He stood out (LOL)

ストリートライブをして、音楽を知ってもらいます！　教会に対する先入観もなくすため☆
We also do street band so people can get to know our music, to get rid of the image they already have about church.

ユースパスターのノボルくんがいったことが印象的だった。
What Noboru, our youth pastor shared struck me.

「ロド先生とか他の国からきてくれた皆が大きなヴィジョンを日本にもってくれてるのに、僕達日本人も彼らより大きなヴィジョンを自分の国にもたなくてどうするの？　日本人、たちあがろう！」
"Pastor Rod and other people who came from other countries have big vision for Japan... why don't us Japanese have a bigger vision than them towards our country? Japanese, it's time for you to get up!"

また、ゲストスピーカーのスティーブ・ケリー牧師も素晴らしかった！！！
Also our guest speaker, Pastor Steve Kelly was AWESOME!!!

スティーブ先生のアメリカにある教会では毎週200人が救われてる！　
In his church in America, 200 people are saved every week!!!

そんな凄いスティーブさんは日本を愛してくれてるから、今回、日本にきてくれた。　スティーブさんのメッセージからいっぱい吸収することができた。　
Pastor Steve came to Japan because he loves Japan. We were able to learn and absorb so much from his message! So Inspiring!

ルークはユースの分科会で、「次世代の教会をたちあげる」というテーマでシェアしたよ。　チームのたてあげかた、教会のカルチャーの作り方とか、すごいわかりやすくて実践的だった。　さすが、ルーク♪　
Luke shared about "Building the next generation church." How to build the team, how to build the culture. It was really simple and applicable! Luke is always great and inspiring! :)

他の教会からも、「学びたい！」という想いできてくれてる人たちがいて、嬉しかった☆　
We were happy to see people from other churches who were hungry to learn from us and grow!

ロド先生はいっつもいってる
Pastor Rod always says this

「私達は特別な教会になりたいわけではない。　私達がしていること、誰でもできるんだよっていって、日本の他の教会にノウハウをシェアしたい。」って☆　
"Our goal is not to become a SPECIAL church. I want to encourage other Japanese churches that they can do this and help them with what we've learnt."

ロド先生の器のでかさにいつも感心します。
I'm always inspired by Pastor Rod's big and generous heart.

個人的に凄い励まされたのは、確実に前進してるってこと。　前に凄かったことが今では当たり前になってる。
Personally I was really encouraged to see that we are always moving forward. What was miraculous before becomes normal.

今回二日間で４０人救われたのが凄かったことが、近いうちに当たり前になる。
So this time seeing 40 people saved in 2 days were amazing...! But in the close future that will become normal.　

そうやってどんどんレベルアップしていく。そして日本は変わっていく！
We will always move to the next level ! And Japan will change!

そしてやっぱり思った・・・
And I also thought...

大阪でもカンファレンス開きたい！！！！！！！！！って。
I really want to have a Conference in Osaka!!!!

遠い未来ではないって信じてるよ☆
I believe that it's not that far until we have one :)
