洗礼式＝大パーティ！！ Baptisms= Massive Party!!!

昨日は洗礼式でした！！！　めっちゃ感動だった・・・！　写真レポをＵＰします！
Yesterday we had BAPTISMS!!! We were soooo touched! I will share some photos here :)

今回洗礼を受けた6人！！！　6人というのも記録突破だし、何より...
6 people got baptised yesterday!!! That's a record and most of all...

めっちゃインターナショナルだった。
it was sooo international!

日本人3人、台湾人1人、フィリピン人1人にケニア人1人！！！
3 Japanese, Taiwanese, Philippino and Kenan.

最近、ジーザスライフハウス大阪、色々な国からの人が集まってるんだけど本当に国を越えてイエスに出会ってみんなと家族になって・・・凄い素敵だよね！
It's so amazing when you think about people in Jesus Lifehouse from all over the world and becoming one family we love Jesus!

今回の洗礼式の会場はジーザスファミリーさんのチャーチを貸して頂きました！　ありがとうございました！
Jesus Family church let us use their venue for our baptisms! Thank you so much!

まずルークと私で洗礼の意味を説明します。　ローマ　６：４－８
First Luke and I explain the meaning of baptisms Romans 6:4-8　

その後に洗礼始まる前のワーシップ！　大盛り上がり！！！
We worship together before baptising people... it's a party!

みんなで思いっきり賛美します！ジーザス最高！
We worship together! Jesus rocks!

クーラーきいてるはずなのに、熱気ムンムン！！！　みんな熱い！！！！
Even though we had air conditioner on, it was soooo hot! People were ON FIRE!

で、ここから一人ひとり洗礼を受けるんだけど、洗礼式で感動するのがその人達がどうやってイエスと出会い、人生を変えられたのかという話。
And then we baptised one by one and what's really special about baptisms is that we get to hear all the stories about how they met Jesus and how Jesus changed their lives.

6人とも凄いパワフルなストーリーがあったので、洗礼を受けてる写真と共にシェアするね☆
So each one of them had powerful stories so I'll share that along with the photos :)

1人目はＲ。　Ｒは家族がカトリック系だったんだけど、ミサにいっても退屈だったし、まったく神様を身近に感じていなかった。
First person who got baptised was R. He was born in a Catholic family but he was really bored in masses that he went and he couldn't feel close to God.

でも、日本にきてジーザスライフハウスに出会って、はじめて神様をすっごく身近に感じたし、うちのチャーチのスタイルが自分に凄くあってるって思った。
But since he came to Japan and started coming to Jesus Lifehouse, he felt really close to God for the first time and he really liked our way of doing things.

そこからもっと変わってきてるし、イエスが大好きで周りの人にもそれを伝えたいって思ったから今回洗礼を受ける決心をした！（＾＾）
Since then he is changing a lot, he is loving Jesus more and more and he decided to get baptised this time to tell people how much Jesus means to his life.

みんなでＲのことを祈ったよ（＾＾）
We prayed together for R!

次はＴ（一番右）。　カトリック系の幼稚園にいってたんだけど、クリスチャンではなかった。家は仏教系でお寺を管理する側だったから、教会にいくチャンスもなかった。
Next was T (on the righthand side of the photo) He used to go to a Catholic kindergarden but he was not a Christian. His family was buddhist who took care of temples so he didn't have any opportunity to go to a church.

ジーザスライフハウス東京のＫＡＴを通じて、イエスのことを知り、ＫＡＴが「大阪にもジーザスライフハウスあるよ！」って紹介してくれたからいってみた。
But through KAT in Jesus Lifehouse Tokyo he got to know about Jesus and Kat recommended him to come to Jesus Lifehouse in Osaka. So he came.

そして、ジーザスライフハウス大阪にきたときに凄い感動した。
And when he came to Jesus Lifehouse Osaka he was really moved.

神様っているんだって思えた。
He felt that God was real!

そして、ルークのビジネスマンのライフグループに入って、3週間前にイエスを受け入れてクリスチャンになった！！！
And he joined Luke's business men's lifegroup and received Jesus 3 weeks ago and became a Christian!

彼もどんどん変わってきてる。　笑顔も増えたし、内面の変化が外面にあらわれてるかんじ（＾＾）
He is changing everyweek! He smiles more and I can see his inner change coming out :)

ルークのライフグループ（＾＾）　本当にいつもルークライフグループのみんなの成長を喜んでいて、今回次のリーダーになるけーすけくんがＴに洗礼を授けたことも凄い喜んでた！　ビジネスマンライフグループ成長中です！
Luke's Lifegroup guys. Luke is so proud of his guys growth and he was really happy to see Keisuke (the next leader) baptising T. Businessmen's lifegroup is growing!

そして、台湾人のＪ。　Ｊはクリスチャンの友だちもたくさんいたし、台湾のチャーチにいってたんだけど、自分はクリスチャンになろうとは思わなかった。
And J, the taiwanese girl. She had many christian friends in Taiwan and she used to go to church there. But she never thought of becoming a Christian.

でも、クリスマスプレゼント欲しいからクリスチャンになろうかな～ってのりで考えていたら、日本にきてダニエルに出会った！
But she was thinking " Maybe I can become a Christian so I can have Christmas presents!" and then she came to Japan and met Danielle.

ダニエルが神様からの贈り物だったっていってた！（かわいい・・・）
She felt that Danielle was a gift from God...(so cute!)

ルークのメッセージも最高だし、みんなフレンドリーで神様をもっと身近に感じたし、チャーチ大好きになった！
She loved Luke's preaching and our church with friendly people. She felt closer to God!

イエスが大好きでたまらないので、今回洗礼をうけてもっと気持ちを外に表そうと思ったんだって（＾＾）
She decided to get baptised because she loves Jesus so much and she wanted to express her love :)

そしてＭ。　クリスチャンになってから長いんだけど、イエスを信じてるといいながら神様が喜ばない選択をしてきた。　クリスチャンとして前進してなかったと思う。
Next was M. She's been a Christian for a while but she felt that she wasn't growing as  a Christian and she was not always living according to God's way.

だけどジーザスライフハウスにきてから、シンプルだけど実践することの大切さをしって神様にもっと近づけた気がする。　自分が明らかに変わってきた。
But since coming to Jesus Lifehouse Church, she realised to put simple things into practice and she feels closer to God. She feels the change.

もっともっと成長したい！変わりたい。イエスと近くなりたいと思って今回洗礼を受ける決心をした。
She said she decied to get baptised because she wants to change and grow more and get closer to Jesus!

Ｍの変化、私もわかる！　昨日も笑顔が更にキラキラしていて凄い素敵だった！
I can tell her change! Her smile was so shining yesterday!

そしてケニア人のＮ。　彼女は実はまだ高校生！！！
And N, the Kenyan girl. She's still a highschool student!

彼女はケニアでカトリック系の教会をいっていたんだけど、聖書でイエスのことを読んで洗礼を受けたいってずっと思ってた！
She used to go to a Catholic Church in Kenya and since she read the bible she wanted to get baptised so much!

でもなんと教会でいわれたのは4年間のコースを受けないと洗礼は授けられないということ！
But her church told her to take 4 years course before she gets baptised.

時間もなかったし、聖書では「もうあなたの罪は赦された」ってイエスがいってるのに、なんですぐに洗礼を受けられないの！？って疑問におもってしまった。
She didn't have time to study and she was wondering why she had to take the course when Jesus says your sins are forgiven in the bible.

結局洗礼が受けられなかったので、教会に通うのをやめて家で友達と祈ってた。すぐに洗礼が受けられるチャーチにけるように。
So she couldn't get baptised so she stopped going to church and started praying at home with her friend so she can find a church that she can get baptised.

そして日本にきた。　日本で最初にいったカトリックの教会でも「コース」を受けないと洗礼は駄目だっていわれた。
And when she came to Japan she went to another Catholic church which told her the same thing. You need to take this course to get baptised.

Ｎは思った。　「みんな、おかしいんじゃないの！？私が信じてるイエスはコースを勉強してから洗礼を受けなさいっていってないし、すぐに受けたいのに！神様ベストなチャーチをみつけて！」　って祈ったら、ジーザスライフハウスに出会った。
N was thinking, "what{s wrong with you people!?? Jesus didnt say in the bible take a course and get baptised!!! God please find me a good church!" and she found our church.

今は洗礼を受けられること、完全に暗闇が消えることが嬉しくてたまらないって。イエスが好きすぎて本当に嬉しいっていってた。　キラキラ輝いてたよ！（＾＾）
She was sooo happy to get baptised and saying goodbye to her darkness forever. She loves Jesus so much! She was shining!

そして最後はＲ☆　（左）
And R on the left was the last one to get baptised yesterday :)

なんとこのブログを通してチャーチにきてくれたんだけど、　Ｒの話もめっちゃ感動的。
She came to our church through this blog!!! Her story is really moving too!

小さい頃家は仏教で、お母さん側はクリスチャンでピアノの先生もクリスチャンで、Ｒはクリスチャンの考えがすきだったんだけど、仏教の教えも学ばされて混乱してた時代もあった。
Her family is buddhist and her mother's side is Christian and her piano teacher is a Christian too. R liked Christian way of thinking better but she was forced to learn about Buddhism so there were times that she got really confused.

どの神様がホンモノなんだろう？って
Who is the real God???

そんな時に人生を変える出来事がおきた。
And something happened that changed her life completely.

親友が自殺してしまった。
Her friend killed herself.

自分もショックで状況についていけないのに、そのことで周りから原因を知らないかと聞かれたりして、凄い周りに対して壁をつくってしまった。
R was shocked herself but people kept on asking her, "Do you know why" "Can you tell me what she said to you before this?" and R didn't want to talk to anyone. She started isolating herself.

また、自分を責めるようになってしまった。　ずっと苦しかった。
And she started blaming herself. She was struggling.

だから、ある日　イエスにむかって　「神様助けて。友達の側にいてください。」って祈ったら　今まで感じたことがないくらい心がすーっと軽くなって、気持ちが楽になった。
One day she prayed to Jesus, "God help me. Please be with my friend." And then she felt all the weight lifted up and felt peace.

イエスがホンモノなんだって思った！
She realised that Jesus is REAL!

そこから神様のことをもっと知りたくなってカトリック系の大学に通いはじめたんだけど、教会にいくとなるとどうしても敷居が高いように感じてしまっていた・・・
She wanted to know more about God so she started going to Catholic University but she thought going to church was such a big step.

でもネットで探してたら、いずみのブログに出会った。
But as she was surfing the net she found Izumi's blog.

このチャーチなら楽しそうだし、自分もなじめるかも！って思っていってみた（＾＾）
She thought "this church looks fun and maybe I will fit in!"

そして今にいたります！
And now she has joined us :)

めっちゃキラキラしてるよ～＾０＾
She's shining too!

洗礼式中ずっと神様の存在を強く感じた。　心がポカポカしたし！！！
We felt God's presence throughout baptisms... I felt really warm!

こういうストーリーをもっと聞きたいからチャーチをたてつづけるよ！！！（＾＾）　チャーチは神様と人々のための場所だから☆
We are going to keep on building our church to hear more of these stories! Church is about God and People!!!

もっとたくさんの人の人生が変えられていくのをみていきたい。　
I want to see more peoples' lives changed!!!

そして変えられた人達が他の人を影響していくのをみていきたい！
And I want to see those people influencing others around them!

最後の賛美は一番クレイジーになります（笑　ルークがワーシップりードするのが定番になってきたよ（笑
We get out of control in the last worship! (lol) Luke's worship leading has become a part of baptisms now !

ちゃんとお片づけもしたよ（笑）
We packed up as well!

洗礼式って本当にみんなファミリーなんだな～って思う。
In baptisms we feel like one big family!

ぐっと距離が近くなって凄い一体感が生まれる！
We become closer to each other and get united!

もっと日本中が、世界中がジーザスライフハウスみたいなチャーチでいっぱいになりますように・・・（＾＾）
I want to see Japan and the world filled with churches like Jesus Lifehouse!!!

そして、彼らに言われた。「実りは多いが、働き手が少ない。だから、収穫の主に、収穫のために働き手を送ってくださるように祈りなさい。（ルカ 10:2）
He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of  the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field (Luke 10:2)

感動しまくりの洗礼式！ LIFE CHANGING BAPTISMS!!!!

昨日はジーザスライフハウス大阪で2009年3回目の洗礼式があったんだけど・・・忘れられないぐらい感動的な一日だった！！！
Yesterday we had our 3rd baptisms of 2009 and I tell you, it was an unfogettable day!

洗礼槽にお湯をためてます！
We were filling the warm water in the baptism tank.

私達の教会はライブハウスで行っているので、洗礼式の時だけ他の教会をかりてます！
Because we have our church in the night club, we borrow other churches baptisms pool when we have baptisms.

　

洗礼式はクリスチャンにとって最大のお祝いなので、みんな集まるよ！！　
So many people come and see because Baptisms are one of the biggest Chrstian celebrations!

最初に洗礼の意味をルークと一緒に説明します！
Luke and I explained about the meaning of baptisms.

水に入った時、古い自分がイエスと共に死んだことを象徴し、水からあがってきた時はイエスと共に復活した新しい自分になったことを象徴します！
When we go in water, that represents the death of your old nature with Jesus and when you come out of the water it shows that you have resurrected with Jesus and have become new.

そして洗礼式の前にワーシップ！　元気いっぱいに賛美して、とっても楽しいムード☆
We worship together before baptisms! We sing fast songs. It's really fun!!!!

この日、洗礼を受けたのはこの3人のピカピカ・ガールズ！！！　洗礼の前からピカピカ笑顔☆　
These 3 shining girls got baptised yesterday!!! They were shining even before they got baptised :)

私のライフグループのＫも洗礼を受けたよ！　
K in my Lifegroup got baptised as well!

Ｋはイギリスで友達を通じてジーザスのことをしって、クリスチャンになった。
K became a Christian in England through her Christian friend.

日本に帰ってきてから教会がなかなか見つからず、インターネットでジーザスライフハウス大阪を見つけたんだって。
She couldn't find a church in Japan after she came back from England but she found  out about Jesus Lifehouse Osaka on the Internet.

Ｋは私の本当に可愛い妹みたいな存在！本当に大好き！
I really love K! K is like my cute little sister!!

最初にＫを出会った時になんて純粋にジーザスを愛してるんだろうって凄く感動した。
When I first met K, I was really touched how she loved Jesus with all of her heart. She said to me,

「聖書なしでは生きていけません」
"I can't live with out the Bible."

というぐらい神様の言葉が好きで、それを土台にして生きている。　本当にピュアな信仰だなって思ってた。
That's how much she loves God's word and she has God's words as her foundation. She has a really sweet spirit :)

洗礼を受ける前から輝いていてたＫだけど、この日洗礼を受けて水からあがってきた途端、Ｋが震えて大泣きしていた。
She was shining before she got baptised but when she came out of the water this day, she started shaking and crying heaps.

「今、私、世界で一番しあわせです！！！」
"I'm the happiest person in the world right now!!!"

って笑顔でいったのが忘れられない。
I can't forget that word that she said :)

Ｋは凄く辛いところを通ってきたけど、ジーザスに出会って「これが答えだ！」って思えたって言ってた。
She had a really tough past but she said that when she met Jesus, she realised that he was the answer to the things that she was looking for!

ジーザスと出会えてジーザスライフハウスのファミリーと出会えて本当に幸せです！と素敵な笑顔で話してくれたんだ。
She smiled and said, "I'm so happy to meet Jesus and Jesus Lifehouse family!"

そして当日洗礼を受けると決めたＣ！　
C decided to get baptised on the day.

洗礼を受けた後Ｃはマイクをもってクリスチャンになったいきさつを話してくれた。
After she got baptised, C held the microphone and told us how she became a Christian.

クリスチャンになる前は初対面でも恥ずかしくて人と話せなかった。　でも、ベッカから神様から自信を与えてもらえるって聞いて、ジーザスを受け入れた。
Before she became a Christian, she was super shy and she couldn't speak to people who she met for the first time. But Becka told her that God can give her confidence so she received Jesus.

今では少しずつだけど人見知りがなくなってきたし、今回初めて大勢の前で話したって・・・！
And now she is gradually changing. She can talk to new people and yesterday it was her first time speaking in front of the crowd! wow!

Ｃの内面の変化を感じたよ・・・！！！　本当にキラキラ輝いてた。
I've felt C's inner change!!! She was really shining!

そして、中国人のミッキー！
And Mickey! She's chinese :)

サムのマンションの近くのコンビニで働いていたところ、サムに誘われチャーチにきた。
She was working in the convenience store near Sam's house and Sam invited her to church.

チャーチにきた初日にジーザスを受け入れてクリスチャンになって、チャーチにきてから本当に楽しくてしょうがないっていってた！　そしてメッセージとかも毎週人生に役立つことばかり聞けて凄い助けになってるって。
She received Jesus and became a Christian on the day that she came to church and she told us how God has changed her life since she started coming to church! She said her life is great and the messages that she hears at church really helps her get through things in life.

ミッキーも洗礼を受けた途端、おお泣きした。
Mickey cried after she got baptised as well!

喜びの涙だった！！！　
TEARS OF JOY!!!

洗礼の後それぞれクリスチャンになる前となってからと話してもらったんだけど、
After they got baptised all of them shared their testimonies

Ｍは中国人なので、中国語で話した！　ジーザスライフハウス至上はじめてのトリリンガルリレー通訳！！！ 中国語→英語→日本語！　めっちゃ感動した。
and as M is Chinese, she spoke in Chinese! We had the first TRILINGUAL RELAY TRANSLATION in Jesus Lifehouse history!!! Chinese to English to Japanese! It was amazing!

ミッキーはいった。
Mickey said this.

留学で日本にきたけど、今は神様とジーザスライフハウスの皆がいるから、ぜんぜん寂しくないって。
She came to Japan to study and now because God is with her and she has Jesus Lifehouse Family she is not feeling lonely at all!

それを通訳している中、私・・・　はじめて通訳中に本気泣きしちゃいました！！！
And while I was translating... for the first time I couldn't stop crying!!!!

 

途中いきなり通訳できなくなってルークに助けを求める私（笑
I couldn't translate in the middle and I asked Luke for help!

でも考えてみたらルーク日本語に通訳できないじゃん！！
then I realised that Luke couldn't translate to Japanese! (LOL)

周りの子も泣いていて本当に感動的な瞬間だった。
Anyway, so many people were crying as well... it was such a great moment.

神様の愛を力強く感じたんだ！
We felt God's love strongly!

本当に洗礼式って感動の嵐！！！！
You get so touched in Baptisms!!!

みんなのジーザスに人生が変えられた話を聞くと、私はこのために生きてるんだな・・・チャーチをたててるんだなって思う。
Whenever I hear about peoples lives changed by Jesus... I realise that this is what I am living for.. this is why I want to build the church!

ジーザスによって変えられて、キラキラしていく人たちをもっともっと見ていきたい！
I want to see more peoples lives changed by Jesus and shine from the inside out!

そして神様の為に、みんなで一緒にチャーチをたてていきたい・・・！
And I want to build church together with everyone for God!

最高の人生だよ！！！
This is the best life!!!!

そして、最後のワーシップで凄いことが・・・！
And something crazy happened at the last worship time!

Luke and Sam lead the worship!????????

ジーザスライフハウス大阪至上歴史に残るハプニングです！（笑

みんなもノリノリ！！！！
Everyone was jumping !

Sam... living her dreams! (LOL)

実はサムのマイクのスイッチがオフにされていたというオチがあったんだけど（笑
Sam found out that her microphone had been switched off ! (LOL)

本当にあったかい神様の家族です☆
God's family is really warm!!!!

洗礼って何? Meaning of Baptisms

今週は2009年3回目の洗礼式です！！！
This week, we are having the 3rd baptisms of 2009!!!

去年は25人に洗礼を授けたけど、今年はもっと多くなるって信じてる！！！
Last year we have baptised 25 people. But we believe that this year we are going to baptise more people!!!

洗濯機、スタバのコーヒー、ダイバーと新しいクリスチャンの共通点はなーんだ？
What does a washing machine, starbucks coffee, a scuba diver and a new christian have in common?

これらのものみんな最大の可能性に達するために欠かせないものが一つある。
Everything to reach their full potential, there is got to be one thing.

水を足すこと!!!
ADD WATER!!!

クリスチャンとして最大の可能性に達したいなら、水を足さないといけない。
If you want to full potential as a Christian, you just need to add water.

では、聖書の箇所を読んでみよう。
Let's read some scripture from the Bible

使徒2:37-38

ペテロのことばは、人々の心を強く打ちました。「それじゃあ、私たちはどうすればいいんでしょう。」 あちらからもこちらからも、使徒たちへの質問の声があがりました。ペテロは答えました。 「一人一人が、罪の生活から足を洗って神様に立ち返りなさい。 そして、罪を赦していただくために、イエス・キリストの名によってバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けなさい。 そうすれば、聖霊様という贈り物をいただけます

Acts 2:37-38
When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

使徒 8:30-35

ペテロのことばは、人々の心を強く打ちました。「それじゃあ、私たちはどうすればいいんでしょう。」 あちらからもこちらからも、使徒たちへの質問の声があがりました。

宦官はピリポに尋ねました。 「その方とは、いったいだれのことです？ イザヤは自分のことを言っているのでしょうか。 それとも、だれかほかの人のことを……。」

またとないチャンスです。 ピリポは、このイザヤのことばから始めて、旧約聖書のあちこちを引用し、イエスのことをくわしく説明しました。 さて、道を進んで行くうちに、水のある所に来ました。 すると宦官は、「ごらんなさい。 水がありますよ。 ここでバプテスマを受けてはいけない理由はないでしょう。 どうです？」と言いだしました。

「心から信じておられるなら、もちろんかまいませんとも。」 「私はイエス・キリストを神の子と信じます。」 宦官がはっきり告白したので、馬車を止めさせ、二人して水の中に入り、バプテスマを授けました。

Acts 8:30-35

Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. "Do you understand what you are reading?" Philip asked."How can I," he said, "unless someone explains it to me?" So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

The eunuch was reading this passage of Scripture: "He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before the shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouthIn his humiliation he was deprived of justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth." The eunuch asked Philip, "Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?"

Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?"And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

 

使徒１６：３１－３３

二人は答えました。 「主イエス様を信じなさい。 そうすれば、あなたも家族全員も救われますよ。」 
こうして二人は、看守とその家の者たち全員に、主のすばらしい知らせを伝えたのです。 看守は、二人の打ち傷をていねいに洗って手当てをしたあと、家族ぐるみでバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けました。

Acts 16:31-33

They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.

ここでいくつかのパターンが見えると思う。登場人物が、「イエスを信じます」といってその次のステップが洗礼だった。それは自然なステップだった。
There is a pattern here. "I believe in Jesus." and the next step was, "Let's get baptised!" It was a natural step.

マタイ３：１３－１７

そのころイエスは、ガリラヤからヨルダン川へ来て、ヨハネからバプテスマ（洗礼）を受けようとなさいました。 ところが、ヨハネはそうさせまいとして言いました。 「とんでもない。 私こそ、あなた様からバプテスマを受けなければなりませんのに。」

しかしイエスが、「今はそうさせてもらいたい。 なすべきことは、すべてしなければならないのですから」とお答えになり、ヨハネからバプテスマをお受けになりました。

イエスが、バプテスマを受けて水から上がって来られると、突然天が開け、イエスは、神の御霊が鳩のようにご自分の上にお下りになるのをごらんになりました。 １７その時、天から声が聞こえました。「これこそ、わたしの愛する子。 わたしは彼を心から喜んでいる。」

Matthew 3:13-17
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented.As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.

洗礼とは誰のものか？　So who is baptism for?　

最初の箇所では3000人の男性のためだった。この男性は女々しい男性ではなかった。強い男性だった。そして強い決断をした。
In the first scripture it was the 3000 men. These men weren't girly men. They were strong men. And they made a strong decision.

二つ目の箇所では裕福な人だった。お金持ちも洗礼を受けた。どんな経済状況だろうと全員洗礼を受けることができる。洗礼はあなたのためのもの！
And the second was for wealthy people- so it's also for wealthy people. All levels of economical situation can get baptised. It doesn't matter where you are at. Baptisms is for you!

それから家族全員がクリスチャンになり、洗礼を受けるケースがあった。だから洗礼は家族全員のためのもの。お母さん、お父さん、若者・・・イエスを知っている人全員受けた。
And then we had a situation of whole family became a christian and got baptised. So baptims are for the whole family. It's for mums, dads, young people who know Jesus.

でも、もっとも素晴らしいのはイエス自身が洗礼を受けたこと！すばらしい模範！
And the most amazing one was Jesus himself got baptised. What an incredible model!

宗教的な儀式ではなかった。聖書には、イエスが水からあがってきた時に何かが変わったって書いてある。
It wasn't a religious ceremony. The Bible says something changed when Jesus came out of the water.

イエスが洗礼を受ける前は奇跡を何一つ起こしていなかった。　洗礼を受けた後から凄い奇跡をたくさんおこした。
Did you know that before He got baptised Jesus didn't perform any miracle. Just after he got baptised Jesus started to do amazing thing.

だから洗礼は宗教的な儀式ではなく、神様があなたの心に何か凄い変化を起こす！そして、新しい生き方を始める。
So baptism is not a religous ceremony, God does something into your heart. And you step into the new way of living.

じゃあ洗礼の意味ってなに？
So what does baptism mean?

1）私は信じる　I BELIEVE

もしあなたがイエスを心で受け入れたのなら、あなたのためのもの！
If you have received Jesus into  your heart, it's for you.

イエスは完璧な人生を生きた唯一の人。しかし、十字架にかかって最悪な方法で死んだ。でも、神様はイエスを愛していたので死から復活させた！
Jesus was the only man who lived a perfect life. But he was crucified in a horrible death. But God loved him so much so he raised him from the dead.

そして、イエスをみた何百人もの人がイエスと歩み、共に話した。500人以上の人が「イエスが復活した後、彼を目撃した」と話してた。
And 100 of people saw Jesus, walked with him and talked with him. In fact 500 people said "I saw Jesus after he rose from the dead"

そして聖書にはこうかかれている。あなたの過去は洗い流され、新しい命が与えられる。
Ｔhe bible say that your old life will be washed away and he you can live a new life.

それを信じているのなら、洗礼を受けるべき！
So if you believe it, you should get baptised.

「じゃあ、それって１００％確信がないとうけないほうがいいってこと？」というかもしれない。
"So does that mean I have to be 100%?"

でも、秘密を教えるね・・・　　１００％になることはない！！！
Can I tell you are little secret? You'll never be 100%！！！！

いずみと結婚する前、いずみと結婚するべきだって１００％確信はなかった。でも、結婚した後に、「何を馬鹿なこと考えてたんだろう！最高だ！”って思えた。
For marrying Izumi, I (Luke)wasn't 100% sure before I got married. But after I got married, I realised "what was I thinking!? It's so good!"

洗礼も同じ。１００％確信がなくても洗礼を受けると、今までした中で最高の決断だっていう確信が持てる！
Same as getting baptised. Although you are not 100%, when you step over the line you'll realise that was the best decision that you've made.

2)　私は属してる　 I BELONG

私はイエスに属している。もう私は自分勝手な人生を生きていない。今はイエスと一緒に生きている。洗礼は自分はもうイエスの為に生きていると旗をかかげること。
I belong to Jesus. I'm no longer living my selfish life, but now I'm living a life with Jesus.
Baptism is about raising your flag and showing that you're living for Jesus.

昔は「洗礼」というのは日常に使われる言葉だった。もともとは「つかる」という意味。完全にひたるという意味。
Back in the old days, baptism used to be a everyday normal word. It means to "Immerse." To go under fully.

だから王や色々な人が洗礼を行っていた。実際に新しい王が王位についた時、彼の部下に洗礼を受けさせてた。彼らの王にたいする忠誠心を証明していた。
So kings and everyone used to do baptisms. In fact when a new king came over to rule over he baptised his people. And that meant that their loyality was with him.

じゃあ、イエスはなんと言っているのか・・・
So what's Jesus say?

イエスはこういってる。「私と一緒にいてほしい。」「私の国があなたの国にもなってほしい。」「私がもっているすべてをあなたに与えてあなたを祝福したい」
Jesus is saying, "I want you to be with me." "I want my kingdom to be your kingdom" "I want to give you all that I have and bless you."

洗礼は皆に自分はイエスと共にいることを示す一つの方法。
Baptism is the way to show everyone that you are with Jesus!

今現在、世界中に１０億人以上が神様の家族！そして、あなたもクリスチャンになった時、その家族の一員になる。
Right now around the world there are 1 billion people who are in the family of God.
And when you become a christian you born into the family.

じゃあ、洗礼を受けることで、クリスチャンになるってこと？
So does baptism mean that you are a Christian?

洗礼とクリスチャンになることは違う。　イエスに「イエス様私が今までしたことを赦してください。そして私の人生に入ってきてください」と祈った時にクリスチャンになる。
No it doesn't. You become a Christian when you say to Jesus, "Jesus please forgive me all the wrong things that I've done and come into my life."

その瞬間にイエスとの関係がはじまる。
At that moment you can start a relationship with Jesus.

3) 態度を変える　I BEHAIVE

「私の生き方を変える」という意味。
It means "I'm changing the way I live."

僕（ルーク）は昔ボクシングをしていた。人を傷つけるのが大すきだったし、周りの人が自分のことを恐れている状態が大好きだった。　イエスに出会うまでは。
I(Luke) used to be a boxer. I used to love hurting people. And everyone was afraid of me and I loved it. Until I met Jesus.

僕の心の中の何かが変わり、もう人を傷つけたくなくなった。人を愛したくなった。僕の態度が変わった。洗礼を受けるとそういう変化が起こる。　しがみついていたふるいゴミの性質を捨てて、新しい命を得ることができる！
Some thing in my heart changed and I didn't want to hurt people anymore. I wanted to love people. My behaiviour changed. That happens when you get baptised. I can let go of the old junk that used to hold me back and have a new life

みんなに質問があります！
So let me ask you this question

洗礼を受ける準備ができているのかがどうやってわかる?
How do you know that you're ready to get baptised?

あなたは福音を聞いた？　イエスが地上でいきて、あなたの命を救ったことを信じ、受け入れる？　周りにクリスチャンだって伝える準備はできてる？ 成長しつづけて神様にかえ続けてほしいっておもってる？
Have you received the Gospel? Have you received the story that Jesus came to earth to save your life and do you receive that? Are you willing to raise your flag?　Are you ready to keep on growing and let God change you?

もし、答えが「はい。」なら準備はできてる！
If yes, then, you are ready.

とても自然なプロセスだから洗礼を受けよう！！！
It's a natural step, so let's get baptised!!!!

ピカピカに新しくなる！ Becoming New!!!!!

昨日のチャーチも大盛り上がり！
We had a great church live yesterday!!!

チャーチライブが始まる前♪　毎週最低１０人は新しい人たちがきてくれてるよー
This is before our church live. Every week we have at least 10 new visitors!

昨日はゲストでジャガーさんがきてくれました～♪
Yesterday we had a special guest... :) Jagger!

最近、和→英の通訳はいってるよ（＾＾）　昨日のＳのファイヤー、凄くよかったね！小さな選択から大きな選択まで神様に従っていきたいって☆
Recently I translate Japanese to English! Suzuka's 5 minutes of fire was great!!! She said she wants to obey God in every decision making process. From small ones to big ones.

ルークのメッセージはいつもわかりやすくて、面白くて、心に響く！またあとでのせるね！
Luke's message is always simple, funny and moving. I'll share his message later.

でも昨日一番よかったのは・・・　洗礼式！！！！
But the highlight of yesterday was Baptisms!!!!

ランチの後、みんなで移動して洗礼式の場所で集まった☆
After lunch, we went to the baptisms place together :)

待ち時間も楽しめる大坂人！（笑）
Osaka people can have fun while they are waiting...!

みんなでウェーブ！　We all made a big wave (LOL)

この日洗礼を受けたのは２人のキュートな女の子達！
2 cute girls got baptised on this day!

　

二人ともクリスチャンになってから１ヶ月ぐらい。　ピカピカまぶしい！
They became Christians only a month ago... they were shining!!!

じゃんけんで順番を決める・・・かわいい・・・
They did scissor paper rock to decide who go first... so cute!

最初はＥに決定♪　Ｅ　got baptised first

ドキドキ・・・　a little nervous?

みているみんなも大喜びの中・・・　１人だけ様子がおかしい人が・・・
Everyone was looking really happy... but there was one person who was reacting differently...

兄、　号泣！！！！！！！(笑）
Her brother was CRYING!!!!!

普段から涙もろいタクヤ・・・妹の洗礼が嬉しくて、涙がとまらなかったらしい・・・（笑）
Takuya cries whenever he is touched... he couldn't stop crying this day because he was so happy to see his little sister getting baptised...

号泣しながら祈る・・・（笑）
He was crying so much as he was praying....

本当に良いお兄さんだよ・・・タクヤ！！！（笑）
He is such a good brother!

神様が二人の人生にしてくれてることをみると、凄いはげまされる！
I feel encouraged when I think about what God is doing in their lives!

こんな可愛い兄妹みたことがない！！！！　二人はこれからの世代の模範となる素晴らしい兄妹です～・・・　めっちゃかわいい！！！
They are the cutest brother and sister....!!!! They are the role models of the next generation... sooooooooooo cute!!!!

そして、続けて　Ｎ！
And soon after N got baptised!

古いＮは水とともに流れ・・・・ Old N was washed away and...

新しいＮの誕生！！！！　喜びでいっぱい！
New N was born!! She was filled with JOY!

本当に洗礼式最高！！！！　みんな温かい家族なんだなぁって、心があったかくなるし、神様の愛を全身で感じる・・・・！！！！！
I looooooove baptisms!!! We feel like one big family and we feel warm because the place gets filled with God's love!!!!

みんな笑顔でいっぱい！　Everyone was smiling!!!!

みて、この笑顔！！！！！Look at these beautiful smiles!

「クリスチャンになる前は悩み事があって辛かったけど、クリスチャンになってから、前向きに考えられるようになったし、毎日がわくわくして楽しい！！！」って二人ともキラキラした笑顔でシェアしてくれた。
They shared with bright smiles, "Before I became a Christian, I was always worried and frustrated, but since I became a Christian, I became positive and I am excited about everyday!"

こんなに楽しくて温かいＪＬＨ大坂のみんなに会いに来ませんか？？？
Why don't you come and see us...!!!! People in JLH Osaka  are funny and warm-hearted!!!

洗礼式においでよ☆ Come to our baptisms!

明日は・・チャーチライブの後に洗礼式だよ！！！！
We have baptisms tomorrow after CHURCH LIVE!!!!

洗礼式って本当にスペシャルな日なの！
It's a really special day!

洗礼を受けた人、または見に行った人にしか洗礼式のすばらしさはわからないと思う！
Only those who got baptised before or who've been to baptisms will know how great baptisms are!!!

実際に見たことがないと、宗教っぽいって先入観をもってしまってる人もいる。私も昔はそうだった。
Unfortunately, because they haven't seen the actual baptisms before, some people have the wrong view that it's SO RELIGIOUS. I used to think like that too.

でも、違う！！　神様の愛と希望で満ち溢れてるの☆　とにかく写真をみて！
But it's different!!!  It's filled with God's love and hope. Anywayz, just look at these photos!

始まる前。　たくさんの人たちが一緒に祝いにくるの！
Before it starts... many people come to celebrate together!

洗礼の意味・・・
the meaning of baptisms...

古い過去・罪が水に流れて、新しい自分になる！
Your old self and sinful nature dies in the water and you become brand new!!!

   

１人ずつ水（っていってもぬるま湯って感じ？）に入る。　
One by one, people get in the water (Lukewarm temperature)

どきどき。 でもうれしそう！　He was pretty nervous but he looked happy!

父と子と聖霊の名によって洗礼を授けます
I will baptise in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit!

水から出てきたら、その人を神様に導いた人たちが祈る。
When they come out from the water, those who led them to Jesus pray for them.

洗礼を受けてるほうも幸せなんだけど周りのみんなも幸せなんだよ～
The ones who get baptised feel happy but the ones who are celebrating them feel extremely blessed too!

それぞれ洗礼を受けるまでにいろいろな悩みとか葛藤があったかもしれないけど、水からあがってきた顔はうそのように明るくて輝いてる！！！
I'm sure they went through struggles and confusion until this day but when they got out of the water, they were all shining!!!!

すっごい良い笑顔なの！！！！！
They had the best smile ever!!!

それをみて、クリスチャンの人たちも、もっとこういう笑顔がみたい！！！！だからもっと伝えようって励ましになるんだ（＾＾）
And when the Christians see those smiles, they think "I want to see more of these smiles so I'm going to tell more people about God!!!"

この日受けた人たち全員が
And all of those who got baptised that day said,

「洗礼受けてよかった！！！！！」っていってた。
"I'm sooo happy that I got baptised!!!!!"

でも今ははじまりにしかすぎない。これからもっとたくさんの人が救われていく！！！
This is just the beginning. We'll see more saved!!!! 洗礼を受けるのに早すぎることなんてない。ジーザスを信じてるのなら。

It's never too early to get baptised!!! If you believe in Jesus!

そして、ジーザスって誰？とか

大阪の洗礼式！！！ Baptisms in Osaka!!!!

今週の日曜日もすっごく楽しかった！！！！
This Sunday was so fun too!!!!

新しい人１８人きた♪　満員だった！
We had 18 new visitors and the church was packed!!!

そして・・・５人の子がイエスを受け入れた☆　やった♪
And 5 people received Jesus! Yey!

それから・・・チャーチライブの後に洗礼式！
And we had baptisms.

 

ジーザスライフハウス大阪の洗礼式ははじめてだったけど・・・
This was the first time to see baptisms in Jesus Lifehouse Osaka but...

すっごくよかった！！！！！！
It was sooooooooooo good!!!!

ちなみに洗礼＝クリスチャンではないんだ。　クリスチャンになるのは、イエスを心で受け入れると決めて祈った時。
By the way, getting baptised won't make you a Christian. You become a  Christian when you decide to receive Jesus into your heart and do that prayer.

でも洗礼は内側の信仰を外側にもあらわすこと！　だからクリスチャンにとって結婚式のようなものっていってるんだ。
But baptisms are important to express your faith outwardly. That's why it's like a wedding for Christians!

洗礼を受けることによって、今までの古い性質とかやめられなかったこととか変えられて、新しい自分になれる！力が与えられる。
By getting baptised, your old nature and bad habits will be cut off and you can be new! You'll have power!

みんな最高にキラキラになるんだよ～～～～～☆
And everyone starts to shine even more!

   

クリスチャンじゃない人も結構みにくるんだけど、みんな「凄いあったかいね！」とか「こんなに素敵なものだったんだ！」っていってくれる人たちが多い！　
Many people who aren't Christians come to see it but most of them say, "it's really warm atmosphere!" or "I didn't know that it was this great!"

やっぱり言葉で表現しきれないぐらいの感動を味わえるのが洗礼式なんだ。
It's hard to explain but you'll just be so moved!

この日は１人の女性と３人の男性が洗礼をうけました～！！！！
This time 1 girl and 3 boys got baptised!

１人目はＹち！！！！！　
1st person to get baptised was Y!

ジーザスライフハウス東京のゆっきーの弟の奥さん♪
She's Yukihiro (JLH TOKYO)'s younger brother's wife!

Ｙちのことはずっと見守ってきたからすっごく嬉しかった！！！！
I was sooo happy to baptise her because I've been praying for her!!!

でも面白かったのが・・・　感動して泣いていたのが、Ｙちではなくて、夫のＫすけのほうだった（笑）
But the funny thing was that Y wasn't the one who was crying but it was her husband, K.

   

ずっと彼女がクリスチャンになることを祈っていたから感極まったらしい・・・（＾＾）　素敵だったよ～
He was praying for her to become a Christian so he couldn't stop crying! It was great :)

また明日母国に帰るスヴァンテが３人を授けた！！！！　これも、すっごく感動的だったな☆
Also Svante who is going back to his hometown tomorrow baptised 3 boys!!! This was great to see too...

 

洗礼を受けた１人が、｢今では小さなことでも神様に感謝できる！」っていってたのが印象的だった！
It was good to hear one of the boys saying, "I can thank God for small things in my life now."

次の洗礼まで間もないかも・・・　だってまだ受けてなくて受けそうな人たちが最低５人いる！！凄いね！！
I don't think it would be long till the next baptisms... because at least 5 want to get baptised next time!!! Wow!!!

It's a really special day!

洗礼を受けた人、または見に行った人にしか洗礼式のすばらしさはわからないと思う！
Only those who got baptised before or who've been to baptisms will know how great baptisms are!!!

残念ながら宗教っぽいって先入観をもってしまってる人もいる。私も昔はそうだった。
Unfortunately, Some people have the wrong view that it's SO RELIGIOUS. I used to think like that too.

でも、違う！！　神様の愛と希望で満ち溢れてるの☆　とにかく写真をみて！
But it's different!!!  It's filled with God's love and hope. Anywayz, just look at these photos!

始まる前。　たくさんの人たちが一緒に祝いにくるの！
Before it starts... many people come to celebrate together!

最初に一緒にワーシップ♪　We worship together!

 

ロド先生が洗礼の意味を話してくれる。
Pastor Rod explains to us about the meaning of baptisms.

古い性質や罪深い性質が水に流れて、新しい自分になる！
Your old self and sinful nature dies in the water and you become brand new!!!

 

１人ずつ水（っていってもぬるま湯って感じ？）に入る。　ダンス披露（笑）
One by one, people get in the water (Lukewarm temperature) They performed in the water (LOL)

どきどき。 でもうれしそう！　She was pretty nervous but she looks happy!

父と子と聖霊の名によって洗礼を授けます
I will baptise in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit!

鼻をつまむ子も（笑）
Some girls held their noses (LOL)

ボーイズはダイナミック！！！
The boys were wild (LOL)

水から出てきたら、その人を神様に導いた人たちが祈る。
When they come out from the water, those who led them to Jesus pray for them.

私もＭちゃんのために祈りました！！！　このブログを通じてチャーチにきたんだって！！！うれしいよね（＾＾）
I prayed for M-chan too! She came to our church through this Blog!!! So happy :)

洗礼を受けてるほうも幸せなんだけど、授けるほうも幸せなんだよ～
The ones who get baptised feel happy but the ones who baptise feel extremely blessed too!

喜びで泣いてしまう子も！
Some people cry out of joy!!!!

それぞれ洗礼を受けるまでにいろいろな悩みとか葛藤があったかもしれないけど、水からあがってきた顔はうそのように明るくて輝いてる！！！
I'm sure they went through struggles and confusion until this day but when they got out of the water, they were all shining!!!!

すっごい良い笑顔なの！！！！！
They had the best smile ever!!!

それをみて、クリスチャンの人たちも、もっとこういう笑顔がみたい！！！！だからもっと伝えようって励ましになるんだ（＾＾）
And when the Christians see those smiles, they think "I want to see more of these smiles so I'm going to tell more people about God!!!"

この日受けた人たち全員が
And all of those who got baptised that day said,

「洗礼受けてよかった！！！！！」っていってた。
"I'm sooo happy that I got baptised!!!!!"

洗礼の後はまた一緒にワーシップして、祈りあいます！
And after that, we worship together again and pray for each other.

 

神様の温かい愛を感じておお泣きです・・・！
We cry heaps because we feel God's warm, amazing LOVE!!!!

最高の日・・・ Such an amazing day....

みんな神様を求めてる。そして神様はそこにいてくれてる。
Everyone seeking for God:) And God is always there with us!

今ははじまりにしかすぎない。これからもっとたくさんの人が救われていく！！！
This is just the beginning. We'll see more saved!!!!

ジーザスを受け入れたのに洗礼を受けてない子に伝えたいことがある。
I want to say this to those who received Jesus but not yet baptised yet.

もったいないことをしてるんだよ～！！！！　
YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!!!!!

だって、洗礼うけてからがスタートだもん。
Everything starts when you get baptised.　

自分が成長するまで洗礼を受けない・・・とかこの状況が変わらないと洗礼を受けないって・・・・いう言葉を良く聞くけど・・・
If you are saying, "I can't get baptised until I grow more" or "I won't get baptised until this situation changes.." I hear that a lot by the way...

洗礼を受けるのに早すぎることなんてない。ジーザスを信じてるのなら。
It's never too early to get baptised!!! If you believe in Jesus!

次の洗礼式は絶対にうけてください！
Get baptised at next baptisms!!!

そして、ジーザスって誰？とか
And if you are thinking, who is Jesus???

信じたいけど、まだよくわかんない・・・っていう人は

洗礼式って・・？ What is baptisms?

今週の日曜はなんと・・・洗礼式があります♪
This Sunday we have baptisms!!!

洗礼式って本当にスペシャルです・・・！
Baptisms are sooo special!

クリスチャンで洗礼を受けてない人は・・・是非受けてください！
If you're a Christian and haven't got baptised... please get baptised! 

クリスチャンじゃないけど、興味がある人は是非みにきてください♪
If you're not a Christian but are interested, please come along!

洗礼式って何？ってよく聞かれるので、今日は簡単にここでまとめちゃうね！
As some people have been asking me, "What is baptism?" so I'll briefly summarize it here.

Ｑ：　水の洗礼って何？　WHAT IS WATER BAPTISM?

「洗礼する」という言葉はギリシャ語で「バプティゾ」という。「バプティゾ」は浸かる、ひたす、覆われるという意味。
The word"to baptise" is in Greek "baptizo". In Greek "baptizo" means "to immerse, cause to be dipped, to overwhelm".

何かを水で洗礼させるという意味は、水の中に入るという意味。というわけで、聖書に基づいて、人が水の洗礼を受けるということは、その人の体をまるごと水にひたすという意味。
To baptise something in water means to put it under the water. Therefore in the Biblical sense, to baptise a person in water literally means to put that person wholly under the water.

水の洗礼は、自分の信仰を皆の前で宣言すること：わたしの古い人生は終わり、今自分は新しい人生を始める新しい人間だということ。
Water baptism is a statement of faith: my old life is behind me -- I am a new person, with a new life.

また、「悔い改め」のサインでもある。「悔い改め」とは「変化」という意味。過去の自分は「埋められた」変わったというしるし。　
Water baptism is a sign of repentance -- repentance means change -- a change so drastic that the old person is "buried." 

水から上がってくるときは、キリストの復活と同じように新しい自分の人生を象徴する。
When you rise from the water, it symbolizes the resurrection of Jesus and your new life with Jesus.

Ｑ：　誰が受けるべき？　WHO IS WATER BAPTISM FOR?

水の洗礼はイエスキリストを信じるものすべてが受ける必要がある。
Water baptism is for those who believe.

"He who believes and is baptised shall be saved." (Mark 16:16).
「信じて洗礼を受ける者は救われる。」 （マルコ 16:16 ）

Ｑ：　いつ受けるべき？　WHEN SHOULD WE GET BAPTISED?

イエスを心に受けた後にすぐにでも！
Soon after you received Jesus into your heart!

聖書の中では、洗礼を受けるまでに何週間のコースを受けたとかそういうことはのっていない。
Nowhere in the Bible is it recorded that people were made to wait or to sit through week-long courses before they were allowed to be baptised.

信仰や悔い改めによっての知識が求められていたわけではなく、実際に信仰や悔い改めをしたいと心から思っている人々が受けた。
It was not the understanding of the doctrines of faith or repentance that was required, but the real presence of faith and repentance that was necessary in the hearts of those who were to be baptised.

Ｑ　洗礼を受けたら何がかわるの？
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE CHANGES WILL AFTER GETTING BAPTISED?

過去から完全に綺麗になる。　Clean Break With The Past

洗礼を受けたら、過去の人生（自分）にバイバイし、イエス・キリストの中にいる新しい自分に「こんにちは」という感じ。
As we are baptized in water, we are in effect saying goodbye to our old life (self), and saying hello to a new creation who is IN Christ Jesus.

クリスチャンにとって最大のメリットは、洗礼によって過去を完全に切り離すことができること。　

悪魔が自分の過去のことを持ち出して、攻めたり誘惑に陥らせようとしても、洗礼を受けたクリスチャンは、「古い自分は死んで埋められてる。私はもうイエスの中で新しい人間です！」ということができる。
A major benefit to the Christian is the clean break that water baptism makes with their past.

When the devil brings temptations and accusations concerning their old life -- the Christian can reply, "That person is dead and buried. I am a new person in Christ."

また、洗礼は神様の家で安定できるようにくっつけてくれる。ますます、神様の家、地域教会に加わっている気持ちになる。
Also baptism acts as a cement that places us firmly to God's house. You feel that you've been included in the house of God, your local church!

その他にも神様をもっと身近に感じたり、心がポカポカしたり、色々な体験をします！
And there are so much more that you can experience... for example, you'll feel closer to God, feel warm in your heart... etc.

洗礼に関する誤解 MISS CONCEPTION ABOUT BAPTISMS

1. 水の洗礼を受けていないと救われてない（クリスチャンではない）
You cannot be saved or forgiven unless you are baptised in water.

聖書にはイエスを救い主と認めて、心から受け入れた時に救われると書かれている。
In the Bible it says, when we accept Jesus as our savior and receive Him into our hearts, we will be saved.

2. 洗礼は大事ではない。（自由に選択できる）
Baptism is not important. (It is optional)

いいえ！　水の洗礼を受けるようにとイエスは言っています。（マタイ２８：１９、マルコ１６：１６） もし、イエスと共に人生を歩んで生きたいという想いがあって、まだ洗礼を受けていないなら、すぐに受けてください。
Water baptism is commanded. Jesus commanded it (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16).  If you wish to follow Jesus and have never been baptised as such, NOW is the time for you to DO IT.

竜太さんがいってたように、ジーザスを受け入れるのと洗礼はセットです！！どっちかだけはありえません。
As Ryuta said, receiving Jesus and being baptised are like a package! You can't just choose one.

3. 水の洗礼を受けるということは地域教会に縛りつけられることになる。
Baptism in water is baptism into a local church.

もちろん、クリスチャンとして地域教会に根付くことは凄く大事です。　でも、ある教会で洗礼を受けたからといって、その教会の会員にならないといけないとか献金をしなくちゃいけないという縛りはない。
It is true that every serious Christian must belong to a local church if one exists where he lives. However, being baptised by a particular church does not obligate the person being baptised to join the membership of particular local church or being forced to pay tithes and offering.

最高の時はこれから・・・！The best is yet to come!

いつも言ってるんだけど、今週の日曜日も凄かった・・・！！！！
I always say this but this Sunday was FANTASTIC!!!

４時半の礼拝の後は、洗礼式だった！！！
We had baptisms after the 4:30pm service!!

なんと、１１人が洗礼を受けました！！！
...and guess what??? 11 people got baptised!!!!

最年少は１４歳の女の子から、最年長はMのおばあちゃん（７０代）まで・・・！　みんな最高にキラキラ輝いていた・・・☆
The age ranged from 14 yrs (girl) to 70's (M's grandmother) They were all shining!!!

見守るみんな・・・ファミリーだね♪♪
Everyone was supporting ;) we're all JLH family!

洗礼式はいつも最高！
Baptisms are always sooo good!

洗礼を受けた人達には、それぞれ色々な過去があって、受けるまでの過程があるんだけど、水に浸かるとき、そういった過去のものを全て洗い流して、ピカピカの新しい自分になる。
Those who get baptised have all sorts of stories and they go through different processes before they make the decision. But when they get in the water, all their pasts wash away and they become a new creation!!! 

過去にどんな体験をしていても関係ない！　大事なのは、これからジーザスと歩む人生が最高に喜びに満ち溢れていて、希望があるということ！
Their pasts are no longer an issue... the most important thing is that their new life with Jesus is filled with JOY AND HOPE!

こんなにもたくさんの人達がきたよ☆　皆あったかい神様の家族だよ～。
Soooo many people came...! We're all warm family of God! 

洗礼式もだんだん大きくなってきていてびっくり！　毎回１０人以上は当たり前だからね。
Our baptisms get bigger and bigger!!! We baptise at least 10 people every time. 　

大阪でも毎週たくさんの人がクリスチャンになっているし、東京も救いがない週はないぐらいに多くの人が毎週神様の愛を受け取っている・・・☆
We are seeing so many people receiving Christ in Osaka and also in Tokyo we always see salvation everyweek!!!

神様の日本に対する愛は止められない！！！
God's love towards Japan is unstoppable!!!

また、１時半の礼拝では２人のクリスチャンの人達をインタビューしました。
Also for the 1:30pm service we interviewed 2 Christians.

それぞれがどうやってチャーチにくることになったか、どのようにしてジーザスを知り、受け入れたのか、変わった部分、もしくは変えなければいけなかった部分はあるか・・・など、色々質問した。
We asked each of them how they got to know Jesus and what made them decide to receive him, what changed inside them or what they had to change after becoming a Christian

私が印象的だったのが、Nさんがクリスチャンになった時に、変わったというよりかは、 「自分がいるべき場所に戻ってきた」という感覚だったということ。
I was really impressed when N said that he felt like he came back to the place that he was supposed to be when he became a christian.

すごく共感できたんだ。　私もね、ジーザスとであった時、クリスチャンが信じていることを知った時に、いるべき場所に戻ってきた・・！！ってすっごく思った。そして、何があってもこの場所から離れないって決めたんだ☆
I could really relate to him... because when I received Jesus and when I got to know about Christian beliefs, I felt that I came back to the place where I was supposed to be. And I decided that no matter what happens in my life I'm not going to leave this place again!

そして、インタビューの後に竜太さんのショートメッセージがあって、
And after the interview, Ryuta preached a short message.

私が大好きな箇所、エレミヤ２９：１１からのメッセージだった！
He preached from Jeremiah 29:11, my favorite scripture!!!

(エレミヤ 29:11) わたしはあなたがたのために立てている計画をよく知っているからだ。それはわざわいではなくて、平安を与える計画であり、あなたがたに将来と希望を与えるためのものだ。 
(Jeremiah 29:11) For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

神様はあなたの人生を変える力をもっている。それを体験するには・・・
God has the power to change your life... and in order to let him do that is by...

神様を必死に求めること。
Seeking God desperately

聖書には「もし、あなたがたが心を尽くしてわたしを捜し求めるなら、わたしを見つけるだろう。」と書かれている。
In the Bible it says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

新しい人生を得るために正しい決断をすること
Making the right decisions to receive a new life

前に進む為に、新しい人生のために常に正しい選択をしなければいけない。
We always have to make the right decision to move forward and receive a new life.

それは関係を断ち切ること、何かをやめることもあるかもしれない。
Perhaps you need to end a relationship or stop doing something.

辛いこともあると思うけど、それをしたことによって神様は絶対に次のレベルまで引き上げてくれる。
This can be really hard but once you do this God will raise you to the next level.

そして、最後に希望と神様の計画の内に生きること！
Living in hope and　God's promise

このメッセージの通訳をしながら、神様からプレゼントされたメッセージだと思った。
As I was translating this message, I thought this message was a gift from God.

・・・というのは、最近の私に凄い変化があって。
I've been changing a lot lately.

自分にとって、大きな決断をしなければならなかった。
And recently I had to make a hard decision.

それには、凄い勇気が必要だったし、神様の約束にしっかりとしがみつく必要があったんだ。　
It requried courage and I had to hang on to God's promise.

そして、思い切って手放すことにした。　辛くなかったというと嘘になるけど、涙もたくさん流したけどね・・・　不思議なぐらい心は穏やかで平安を感じています。
So I decided to let something go... It would be a lie if I say that it was easy and it involved tears, but I feel this incredible peace inside me.

今はただ過去への感謝の気持ちと将来への希望でいっぱい☆
Right now I'm just thankful about my past and I'm excited about my future.

私は完璧な人間じゃないし、これからもなれないけど、確かなことが一つある・・・　神様に喜ばれる人生を送りたい。
I'm not a perfect person and I'll never be perfect. But I'm sure about one thing... I want to live a life that is pleasing to God.

神様が自分のことを「無意味な存在」から「価値がある存在」に変えてくれたから・・・。
That's because God changed me from "NOBODY" to "SOMEBODY"!

そして、そんな神様の愛を人に伝え続ける人生を送りたい。
So I want to share God's love to others for the rest of my life.

手放したものが大きければ大きいほど、神様の祝福も大きいことを信じてる。
I believe that when you let go of something big, God will bless you for that.

だから、私はジーザスと一緒に前に進みます！！！
So I'm going to move forward with Jesus!!!

具体的にかけなくてごめんね・・・。　でも、新しい季節に突入した私のことを応援していてください！！　
Sorry that I can't write in details... but please support me, as I'm stepping into my new season.

IT JUST NEVER STOPS!

昨日も嬉しいこと盛りだくさんでした！！！　
So many GREAT THINGS happened yesterday (as usual)!

まず・・・　チャーチに約5ヶ月ぐらいきてくれていた、Ａちゃんがクリスチャンになりました！！
A, who's been coming to church for 5 months received Jesus! She's now a new Christian.

Ａちゃんは私のライフグループの子がチャーチにつれてきたの。
A came to church through Yumiko, my lifegroup girl.

英語ぺらぺらだから（私と同じ通訳学校にかよっている）チャーチ気に入ってくれてすぐに色々な友達作ってチャーチに遊びに来てくれてた。
She speaks good English so she really enjoyed coming to our church from the beginning. And she made many friends really quickly.

ワーシップの音楽の歌詞をネットで調べたり、聖書を読んだり、礼拝中もメモを取ったり、最近では祈っていたので、クリスチャンになる・・・って思ってた♪
She told me that she searches worship lyrics on the net, reads the bibile and I've seen her taking notes during the service and praying so I knew that she will become a Christian!

その間色々な子達が彼女のことを思って祈っていたので、彼女が昨日受け入れたと知ったとき、ガールズ達は大喜び！泣いている子達もいました・・（＾＾）　いつでも救いは素晴らしいです・・・!
So many girls have been praying for her so when we heard the news that she received Jesus, we all rejoiced!!! Salvation is always wonderful... :)

そして夜は洗礼式だった・・・♪
And we had baptisms at night... ;)

今回は7人の女性が洗礼を受けたよ！！！　みんなキラキラかがやいていました！
We baptised 7 women yesterday!!! They were shining!!!!

感動したのは、Ｃちゃんの家族がＣちゃんの洗礼を見守りにきていたこと！お母さんは入院中なのにもかかわらず、わざわざこの日のためにきていた。みんなでＣちゃんのお母さんが癒されるように祈りました。凄く素敵なお母さんだった（＾＾）
I was touched to see C's family coming to support C. Her mum came out from the hospital just for that day. We all prayed for her mother to be healed. She seemed like a nice mother.

本当に一人ひとり、それぞれ神様とであったストーリーがあります。それを一人ずつその過程を聞くことはできないけど、みんなの顔をみればわかります！！！
Every one has his/her own testimony (story about their encouter with God) We can't hear the whole process from each one of them but just looking at their faces, we can tell that their lives have changed, and they are going to live a new life with Jesus!

「人生変えられた」「ジーザスと共に生きていく！」という輝きが言葉にしなくても伝わってくる・・・。
They were just shining!

人間の力ではここまでは人を変えることはできない。神様しか人を変えられません。
People can't change others to this extent. ONLY GOD CAN.

昨日もさいっっっこうの日曜日でした！！！
Yesterday was another greeeeat Sunday!

14人が洗礼をうけました♪
14 people got baptised!

知らない人のために・・・

クリスチャンにとって洗礼＝結婚式☆　ジーザスを受け入れますと手をあげたときから、堂々とクリスチャンですといえるのだけど、洗礼はわかりやすくいうと、皆の前でジーザスについていく人生を歩むと誓う日。水の中に入ったとき、自分の古い罪の性質が死んで、水から起き上がるとき、ジーザスと新たな人生をスタートする。だからＣＥＬＥＢＲＡＴＩＯＮ（お祝い）なんだ！！！！

For those who don't know about baptisms...

Water Baptism is like a WEDDING! We become Christians after we say the sinners prayer. So baptisms is about celebrating our new life with Jesus in front of people! When we go in the water, our old sinful nature is washed away and our new life starts! So that's why it's a celebration!!!

14人という大人数だった為、どうやってジーザスと出会い、何故クリスチャンになったのか一人ひとりから聞くことはできなかったけれども、「自分にとってジーザスとはどういう存在か」という質問に答えてもらいました！
Because we had 14 people, we couldn't ask from each person how they met Jesus and why they decided to follow Jesus but they answered this question, "What does Jesus mean to you?"

「空気のような存在。彼なしの人生は生きていけない」
"He is like an air. I can't live without him."

「親友であり、父であり、私の支え。」
"He is my best friend, my father and my support."

「カーナビ。間違えた方向にいったら自動的に正しい道へと導いてくれる」
"He is like a car navigation system. When I take the wrong path He directs me to the right way."

短い答えだったけど、力強くて、彼らの表情をみているだけで、彼らの人生が変えられたことがはっきりと伝わってきた！
Their answers were short but they were powerful. Their faces showed that their lives have been changed dramatically!!!

凄く感動したのが、クリスチャンのEちゃんのお父さんが洗礼を受けたこと！Eちゃんと夫のJが授けていて・・・感動しました☆　神様は二人を通して神様の愛を伝えたんだね・・・♪
I was especially touched seeing E's father getting baptized!!! E and her husband baptized him...!!! God showed his love to E's father through these lovely couple!!!

5月は17人、7月は８人、そして今回は１４人！この勢いはとまりません！！！
We had 17 baptized in May, 8 in July and 14 people this time!!! Nothing can stop our growth!!!

最後の祈りが熱い！！！ The last praying time is very powerful!

4:30pmの礼拝は席がなくなるほどたくさんきていた！！！　新しい場所が必要だね・・・
The 4:30pm was so packed that there were no seats left... we definitely need a new venue!

UNFORGETTABLE BAPTISM☆忘れられない洗礼式

昨日の礼拝＋洗礼式は、言葉にできないほど凄かったです・・・というわけで、写真をみて感じてください！（写真提供者：ＪＬＨスタッフのヒトミさん）

そして・・・　１年間情熱をもってチャーチで仕えてくれたジェームスの最後の日曜日でした。
And it was the last sunday service (in Japan) for James, who served wholeheartedly for 1 year.

彼は献金のメッセージやイベントのＭＣなど目立つ奉仕のほかにも影で忠実に色々な仕事をこなしていて、みんな彼のことが大好きでした。ロド先生もほめていて、最後の礼拝で皆で彼の今後の成長にむけて、祈りました。
He not only served for "Visible" things such as the offering message and being the MC for events, but he also served behind the scenes. That's why he is loved by many people! Pastor Rod also spoke well of him and we prayed all together at the last service for his future success.

 

そして　夜は、洗礼式 And that night we had the Baptism

　なんと・・・１７人が洗礼をうけました！　こんなにたくさんの人が受けたのは初めてです！
And 17 people got Baptised....! This is the largest number in our church history.

　私はライフグループのＳを授けました。　本当に成長して輝いている子を見守る親のような心境でした・・・（っていっても実は私のほうが年下なんだけどね）　Ｓだけではなくて、他の輝いている１６人をみて、凄く感動しました。洗礼式っていつも大事なことを思い出させてくれる。
I baptised my lifegroup girl, S. I was feeling like a parent seeing my child growing. (even I'm younger than her!) And not only S, but I was touched by seeing the other 16 people shining! Baptisms always remind me of really important things.

　また、お母さんと一緒に洗礼をうけたノアくん も感動した。お父さんのＰさん 　が二人を授けていて・・・素敵だった。
And I was really touched to see Noa getting baptised with his mum. His father, P baptised Noa and P's wife.

そして、新たに３人が洗礼式でクリスチャンになる決意をしました！　凄く嬉しかったです。
And 3 new people made a decision to receive Jesus during the baptism! We were really happy.

神様、素敵な一日をありがとう。　Thank you God for a great day.

そして、このブログを読んでいる一人ひとりの祈りが必要です。どうか、この新しく洗礼をうけた１７人のために、そして、ＪＬＨのリーダーたちやメンバー、一人ひとりのために、祈ってください。私たちが常に神様の愛に守られ、それにフォーカスできるように。どんなチャレンジも乗り越えられるように。ありがとう。
And if you are reading this post today, we need your prayers. Please pray for these newly baptised people and JLH leaders and members. Please pray that we will all be protected by God's love and we will keep our eyes on Jesus. And the strength to overcome any challenging situation. Thank you.  

「一人一人が、罪の生活から足を洗って神様に立ち返りなさい。そして、罪を赦していただくために、イエス・キリストの名によってバプテスマ(洗礼)を受けなさい。そうすれば、聖霊様という贈り物をいただけます。(使徒の働き2:38 リビングバイブル訳)」　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　      

Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

For Christians, Water Baptism is like a WEDDING! We are already Christians if we raise our hands and say the prayer to accept Jesus into our lives. So we have baptisms for celebrating our new life with Jesus in front of people! When we go in the water, our old sinful nature dies and our new life starts! So that's why it's a celebration!!!

And tomorrow is Jame's last Sunday in Japan!!!!

 

時間がたつのは早いもので、日本にきてから１年近くたってるんだよねー・・・　色々な意味で私たちを楽しませてくれていたジェームスが帰るのは寂しいです！次の土曜日に日本をたちます。
Time flies, and it has been almost 1 year since he came to Japan! We will miss him because he has entertained us in many ways...!!! He is leaving Japan next Saturday.

昨日心配かけてしまった人、すみません・・・　

Sorry for some people yesterday...

土曜日から風邪をひいて、すごく具合が悪くなって、昨日はまるで夢の世界にいるような気分でした・・・熱っぽかった。

I had a fleu since Saturday and I felt sick. I felt like I was in my dreams yesterday... I had a temperature.

薬を飲んで、祈って、寝たら、汗をかいてなおりかけてきました。神様、ありがとう！

I had some medicine, prayed and went to bed... and I feel better now.... Thank you GOD!

この前の洗礼式はジェームスのいたずらで、大盛り上がり（笑）

James was pretty naughty last time! We had so much fun watching him.

突然洗礼を決めたＭちゃんの着替え時間を待つことになって、時間をもてあましていたら、

We had time to spare because we had to wait for M who suddenly decided to get baptised...

エンターテイナーのジェームスが黙っているはずはなかった・・・！！！のせられる範囲でのせてしまいます（笑）

ＢＡＰＴＩＳＭのレポート２

１から読んでね☆

洗礼を皆に授けた後にロド先生が

「今日クリスチャンになりたい、ジーザスについていきたいという人がいたら手をあげてください。」と聞いた時、しばらく間があった後に

Ｏっちが手をあげたの！！！　感動の瞬間！そして、いきなり立ち上がり、マイクを手にとり、話はじめた！！！すごい！

 

Ｏっち将来はゆーじくんみたいにメッセージかたるのかな！？

Oっちいわく、今まで何度か手をあげようとしていたらしいんだけど、それは一時的な感情かもしれないと思っていて、あとで気が変わったといって周りを失望させたくなかったからあげなかったんだって。

でもキャンプの時から求めつづけることをあきらめないことを決意したＯっち。昨日ついに、　「今回手をあげたのは、今後気がかわらない気がしたから。」といっていた。

「自分、今日からベイビークリスチャンです！」発言は笑った（笑）

ＪＲと仲良し！

Oっちが話している間、多くの人達が泣いていた。

Oっちを信じ続けていたライフグループリーダーののぼるくん。彼の友達たち。

私も、感動のあまりにのんちゃんと手を握りながら二人で泣きまくった。

大泣きしている間にまたハプニングが・・・。

「いずみちゃん、前にきて通訳をして！」　

「え・・・？　い・・・今ですか！？」

突然呼ばれ、ぶっさいくな泣き顔のまま前に出て通訳をすることに。。。涙をぬぐいながら登場した私をみて、順也さんから「いずみちゃん、また突然だったね（笑）」といわれた。最近、こういうのばっかりです（笑）。　

でも、いいです、神様、私を使ってください。　そして皆、よく泣く私ですが、このままの私を愛してください（笑）　

よく泣くといえば、ゆーじくん！プールで待機中も、他の子をみながら、目がウルウルしていた。

ゆーじくんのハートがすごく伝わってきた。Oっちが手をあげた時もガッツ-ポーズをして涙を流したゆーじくん。ゆーじくんは普段は人をからかったり、しつこかったり、やんちゃなところがあるけど、魂がすごく熱くて、ものすごくピュアな人。

とにかく、そこにいたほぼ全員が泣いて、ハグして、幸せと愛で満ち溢れた空間だった。

本当に言葉にできないよ。本当にいったことない人は是非洗礼式にきてほしい。そうしたら、絶対にわかるから。

実際、ブログを通じて出会ったＫちゃんが礼拝はこられなかったけど、洗礼式は行ってみたいといって、きてくれたんだ。一部始終を初めてみた彼女は最後に話し掛けたときに言葉を失っていた感じがした。「逆カルチャーショックをうけた。。。」といっていて、「それは良い意味で？」と聞いたら、「うん。」といっていたんだ。

昨日４人がクリスチャンになりました！一人はアツくんのお父さん。すごい！！！そして、Ｙちゃんの前の職場で一緒だったＳちゃんも手をあげた。１人が神様に出会うと、他の人の人生も変えられていく。それをこの目で見ることができて本当に幸せ。これからもすっごく楽しみ！！！！

ロド先生の午後のメッセージで、「あなたが逃げ出さなければいけないものと追い求めるものは何ですか？」といっていたけど、私が追い求めるものは、日本の社会がジーザスライフハウスみたいになること！！！

国 籍も文化も過去も年齢も関係なく、みんなが神様大好きで、笑顔で愛し合って、喜びでいっぱいになること！そんな社会になることを信じて追い求めるよ(^^)

ＢＡＰＴＩＳＭのレポート１

風邪をひいてしまいました。昨日じゃなくて本当に良かった・・・。

喉が痛くて頭がぽ～っとしてるの。　帰りの電車で席に座れたことに感謝！！！神様は私の状態を知っていて、与えてくれたんだよね。

今私の他にも体調が悪い子が結構いるので、その人たちにもジーザスの癒しのパワーが与えられるように祈っています。
