幸せな土曜日☆ Happy Saturday!!!

土曜日は近所のインターナショナルスクールでバザーがありました！！
On Saturday, the International School near our place had a bazaar.

9時に同じマンションのガールズ、ＭとＡと集合して、一緒にバザーまででかけたの。
So I left my apartment with M and A (who live in the same apartment!) around 9am.

面白いことに、私の新しいマンションはジーザスライフハウス女子寮？っていう感じで、同じフロアにＭとＴ、上の部屋にはＡとＣが住んでいる（笑）　
The funny thing about my new apartment is that it's almost like "JESUS LIFEHOUSE GIRLS' DORM" with M and T living on the same floor, and A and C living above us.

いやあ・・・それにしても、バザーにいくのは久しぶりで、忘れていました。
Anyhoo, I haven't been to the bazaar for ages and I had forgotten what it was like....

すさまじいことを・・・！！！！（笑）
It was crazy!!!!

9時に始まるものだったから、ついたら行列で、中にはいったら、みんな凄い勢いでものを入れてた。
There was a long queue already when we arrived there, as the bazaar starts from 9am... and people were throwing things into their bags... they were aggressive (LOL)

携帯からとったから画質が悪い・・・！ごめん
I used my mobile camera, sorry that this is low quality..!

品物は100円～500円のものが多く、かなりお買い得！
Most of the items were 100 yen~500yen. It was a bargain!

でも・・・・ But....

私本当に買い物が下手な上に苦手なのね。
I'm not a good shopper....

ＭとＡは上手で、ゆっくりじっくりみて、凄い掘り出し物をＧＥＴしてたの。
M and A are good shoppers. They were looking at each item carefully and they found good things.

私は、もう見ること事態が疲れてきて、凄い早く終わった（笑） お目当てのものは残念ながらなかったし。（すでに早く来ている人たちにとられてた）
But I got tired so quickly just seeing all of those items and I finished quickly...(LOL) Unfortunately I couldn't find what I wanted. ( I think people took them already)

ＭＩＭＯが欲しがってたタコ焼き機を500円でＧＥＴし、本2冊買いました。
But I bought the OCTOPUS BALL MACHINE that MIMO wanted for 500 yen and 2 books.

バザーもよかったんだけど、一番感動したのは、やっぱり食べ物（笑）
The bazaar was good... but what I really enjoyed there was FOOD (LOL)

韓国の人たちが本場の韓国春雨（チャプチェ）やチヂミを売っていたので、食べたんだけど・・・
Korean people made home-style Korean clear noodles (JAPJAE) and Korean Pancakes.

激うま～～～～～～！！！！！！！　韓国料理最高♪♪　ＭとＡと幸せな気持ちになった☆
It was sooooooooooooo delicious! I love Korean food!!! We all felt happy after eating food (LOL)

お腹も満たしたあと、重い荷物をもってマンションまで帰る途中道に
We were so full afterwards, but as we were walking back to the apartment with our heavy luggage,

Ｍが小さな団子屋さんを発見・・・・！！！！
M found a small rice dumpling shop!!!

3人でのぞいてたら、おばちゃんが私達を見つけて、「団子食べる？」といってきたの。
As 3 of us were looking inside, the lady found us and asked us "Do you want to come in and eat?"

というわけで・・・・
So....

団子屋さんで寄り道決定！（笑）　お腹いっぱいだったのに、3人で昔ながらのしょうゆ味の団子を楽しみました♪♪
We decided to stop for a moment. We were already full but 3 of us enjoyed the traditional soysauce-based rice dumplings!

おばちゃんは凄く優しい人で、お茶も入れてくれたり、お店の歴史の話もしてくれて楽しかった。また、近所の小学生が書いた団子屋さんの絵がとても可愛くて、心が温かくなった☆
The lady was a really nice person. She served us Japanese Green tea and shared about the history of the shop. Also there were many pictures of the shop that were drawn by the primary school children, which made us feel warm.

ＭとＡで、「こういう風にゆっくりのんびりご近所で過ごすのも幸せな休日だね～」っていってたんだ♪
I was saying with M and A, "It's such a good weekend to just relax in our neighborhood"

神様最高の環境をありがとう（＾＾）
God, thank you for the great environment!!!!

その夜の西東京の土曜礼拝もすっごかったんだけど・・・そのレポは明日かあさってにでもしま～す！！！！　
On that night we had West Tokyo Saturday night service which was AMAZING....!!!! But I'll talk about that later. Perhaps tomorrow or the day after tomorrow!

本当に幸せすぎて、毎日最高ですっ♪
I'm soooo blessed everyday!!!! Love it!

パパとランチデート Lunch with dad

土曜日は日本に出張にきていたお父さんとランチデートしました
On saturday, I had lunch with my father. He was in Japan for business trip.

いった場所は、池袋のGINTOという創作フレンチレストラン。
We whent to GINTO in Ikebukuro, a French fusion restaurant.

内装がニューヨークスタイルで、オシャレで、広くて、料理もしゃれている感じです☆　圧倒的に女性が多かった！！！
The interior was New York Style and everything was so fancy-atmoshphere, space and food. Majority of the customers were women.

　

私が頼んだのは、創作寿司コース。　一番人気なんだって♪
I ordered Sushi course. The most popular dish!

お父さんは昇進してから、ますます忙しい毎日を送っているようで、2月の休みはなんと2日間だけだったそうで・・・！！！　しかも今回の出張も3日で帰るという超多忙スケジュール。神様お父さんの体調を守ってね・・・！
Since my dad got promoted, he is living a crazy busy life... he only had 2 days off in February!!!! And this business trip was only for 3 days...!!! God please protect his body!

知っている人も多いかと思うけど、私はひとりっこ。
As most of you may know this already, but I'm the only child. 

ひとりっこで一人娘だから、さぞかし甘やかされて育ったんでしょ？って言われることもあるけど、ちょっと違います。
Some people say that "I'm sure you've been spoiled because your the only child!" But that's not true.

オーストラリア人のパパは子供をハグして「愛してるよ～」とか、照れるぐらいに褒めちぎる人が多い。
I've seen many Australian fathers hugging their children, saying "I love you" or giving them words of affirmation all the time.

それに比べ私は物心ついてから、ハグされたこともないし、直接褒められた記憶もあまりないし、私の中でかなり厳しい、遠い存在だった。　だから、心の中でずっと周りがうらやましかった。また、お父さんから認められたくて、お父さんの基準に達しようとして頑張って苦しかった。
On the other hand, I don't remember being hugged by my father and I don't remember him saying words of affirmation directly to me. My father was always strict and distant. So I always envied my friends. Also, I was struggling as I wanted to be accepted by my father and I was trying hard to live up to his standards.

でも、私の天国のパパ、神様を知ってから、私が今まで求めていた愛は神様に求めるべきだったんだ・・・！って知ったの。
But since I met God, my Daddy in Heaven, I realised God is the only one who can give all the love that I was seeking.

    

親は永遠に子供のそばにいることはできない。だけど、神様は生まれてから死ぬまで、そして死んだ後もずっとそばにいてくれる。　それを知った時、すごく安心した・・・！
Parents can't stay with their children forever. But God is always with us- from our birth until death and after death. I felt relieved when realised this truth.

わたしは、世の終わりまで、いつも、あなたがたとともにいます。(マタイ28:20)
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)

私とマミーがクリスチャンになることに関して、猛反対していたお父さん・・・。特にマミーが洗礼を受けることに関してはかなり怒っていた。
When my mother and I decided to become Christian, my father was against our decision. Especially he was upset about my mother getting baptised.

でも、あれから3年・・・　お父さんとの関係はどんどん良くなってきている。マミーがチャーチにいくことに関しても特に反対していないし、私に対しても優しい。
3 years have passed since then and I can say that my relationship with my father is getting better and better. He is not against my mother going to church, and he is really kind to me.

私自身も親に対して、尊敬と感謝の気持ちが大きくなった。お父さん、お母さんいつもありがとう！！！　離れていても、2人を通じて神様の愛がビシビシ伝わってきます！
And I respect my parents more than ever and I am very thankful. Thank you mum! Thank you dad!!! I feel God's love through them even we live far from each other.

ところで・・・　マミーからオーストラリアの食材・グッズが送られてきたんだけど・・・
By the way... my mum sent me food and items from Australia....　

これは！？？？？？？？？？？？　イースター用ってこと！？？？？
did she send me this for Easter???!!!!!

まさか私にじゃないよね！？？？（笑）　誰にあげようかなぁ・・・（笑）
This is not for me right...!???? Who should I give this to?

相変わらず面白いマミーでした・・・・！！！
My mum is such a crack up!!!

お久しぶりのお勧めスポットです・・・♪
I haven't posted about my favorite place for a while.

日本橋三越前にある和カフェを紹介します！
I want to introduce a Japanese-Style Cafe near Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Department.

zen茶'fe はなかなか面白いカフェです。
Zen-cha'fe is quite an unique cafe.

和風カフェは最近では珍しくないけど、ここはちょっと独特の雰囲気。
We see many Japanese style cafe these days, but this cafe is quite unique.

ドリンクメニューの大半はお茶ベースで抹茶オ・レやほうじ茶オ・レ、抹茶アメリカン等々。緑茶とハーブティのブレンドなど外ではなかなか楽しめないようなものばかりです。
Most of the drink menu includes green-tea based drinks such as Green tea au lait, Houji-cha au lait and Strong Green Tea. Also they have original drinks such as green tea blended with herb tea.


今回私が注文したのは・･･ This time I ordered...

グリーンティと小豆♪　Green Tea with Red bean!!!

本当は一緒にブレンドされたドリンクのはずなんだけど、別々にしてもらえたの～！こういうお客さんの希望にこたえてくれる店大好き！
These are supposed to be blended by they separated them for me!!! I love shops that answers to the needs of the customer.

抹茶ソースがかかった抹茶ソフトの下にどらやき 　これもカスタムメイドだった！！！　抹茶が濃くて美味しかった★
Green tea soft serves with green tea sauce...with Dorayaki (Japanese sweet pancake) as the base... This was custom-made too...! It had rich green tea flavor and it was delicious!

そのほかにもフード系もサンドイッチや丼物があります。箱に入ったBOX丼がおすすめらしいんだけど、この日はすでに売り切れてた(涙）　わたしたちが頼んだのは・・・
Also they have food menu such as sandwiches and Don (Bowl) dishes. The

きんぴらベーコンアボカド丼　
stir-fried carrot and burdock with bacon and avocado rice bowl.

炭焼きハンバーグ丼　トマト味
Meat pattie in tomato flavor

かなりおなかいっぱいになります。　美味しかった！
These were really filling...!!! They were delicious!!!

でもここの一番いいところは・・・・
But the best thing about this cafe was...

くつろげるところです！！！ the comfy atmosphere!!!

3階にはソファ席スペースがあります。
There were sofas on the third floor...

なんか、家にいる感覚で3時間近くも居座ってしまった・・・・！
I felt like I was at home and ended up staying there for 3 hours.

神様～　素敵な店を教えてくれてありがとう！！！

ZEN茶’fe （カフェ / 三越前）

イチゴ狩り～ Strawberry Picking!

大分前の話だけど・・・
This is kind of an old story now but...

またまた苺狩りにいってきちゃいましたー！
I went strawberry picking again!!!!

行った場所は去年に引き続き、津久井浜（京急線）。　
I went to TSUKUIHAMA (KEIKYU LINE) same as last year.

前回は3月下旬にいったんだけど、温かい気候のせいか、苺がぬるくて、ビニールハウスの中はサウナ状態だった！
Last time I went there was end of March, and because of the warm climate, the strawberries were lukewarm. It was almost like a sauna inside the greenhouse!

というわけで今回は2月中にいきました！
So this time, I went there during February.

受付で1100円払って、指定されたビニールハウスまで歩きます。
You pay 1,100yen at the reception and walk to the designated plastic greenhouse.

ハウスの入り口で、練乳が入ったケースを渡され、30分の時間制限でイチゴ食べ放題スタート！
At the entrance of the greenhouse, you'll be given a plastic container with condense milk in it. And then you can enjoy "ALL YOU CAN EAT STRAWBERRIES" (time limit 30 min)

目の前にあるイチゴをひたすら食べていくんだけど・・・
You just keep on eating strawberries non-stop!

甘～～～い！！！　コンデンスミルクなんていらなーい！
It's sooo sweet! You don't need any condense milk!

絶対50個以上は食べたよ。
I think I ate more than 50 strawberries..

.

すっごくお腹いっぱいになった！ I was soooo full!

日本の苺を知ってしまうと、オーストラリアの苺なんて、食べられなくなっちゃいますから！！！（笑）
If you eat Japanese strawberries, you can't eat strawberries produced in Australia anymore...!

そして帰り道・・・
And on the way back...

歩いていたら、ある不思議な光景が目に入った。
While I was walking, I realised something weird...

ん？なんだあれ？　What's that?

よく見て・・・
Look carefully....

こわ～～～～～～！！！！！　It's quite scary!!!!!

夜とか冗談ぬきに怖そう・・・
No joke, You'll freak out if you see this at night...！！

こうやって畑を守っているんだね・・・
This is a way to protect the produce...

まだまだ、シーズン中なので、時間がある方は苺狩り是非いってみては？

ORGANIC RESTAURANT in JINBO-CHO

ここのところ、食品に関するニュースが多いけど・・・
Recently there have been a lot of reports about food products...

今度は農薬入りの中国製ギョーザで吐き気や腹痛を起こしたと訴える人が相次いでいるらしい。　きゃー怖い！
The News reports that many people in Japan have suffered food poisoning after consuming frozen "gyoza" meat and vegetable dumplings from China that contained pesticide. The number of victims are increasing. This is soooo scary!

私はもともと冷凍食品やファーストフードとは無縁の生活を送っている。
My diet is free of frozen food or fast food.

だって、やっぱり自分で調理した食事のほうが美味しいし、安全だから。
That's because it's safer to cook for myself and it tastes better too.

ごくたまに買おうかな～って思っても食品表示の原材料をみて一気に「やっぱ自分でつくろう！」ってなるんだよね。
On rare occasions, I think about buying one, but when I see the food labels and , I quickly change my mind. I rather cook my meal than purchasing frozen meals.

「食」は人間にとって大切なこと。
For all of us eating is necessary.

だから、なるべく体に良いものを選んでいきたい。私がマミーの手料理を食べて育ってきたから、自分の将来の子供は絶対に自分の手料理を食べて育って欲しい・・・。
That's why I want to eat healthy food. Especially I grew up in a home where my mother cooked every day, so I want to do the same thing with my child in the future. 

マミーの最近の自信作：海老チリとコリアンダーとサワークリームのデイップ
My mother's cooking: Chilli Prawn and Coriander, sour cream dip.

今のこの世の中、添加物や保存料を完全に避ける生活は無理だと思う。　自給自足の生活でもしないかぎりね＾＾；　
Nowadays, it is almost impossible to completely avoid additives and preservatives. (Unless you want to grow your own food!) 

だから、あまり神経質になりすぎたくないけど （お菓子も食べるし、体に悪いものだってたまに食べるから）　神様から与えられた体を大切にしたいよね☆
I don't want to be too sensitive (because I still eat snacks and "unhealthy food") But I want to take care of my body, because it belongs to God. 

そこで、今日は体が喜ぶ料理が食べれる場所を紹介します！
So...! today I will show you where you can eat healthy food!

富士山のやさい塾 FUJISAN NO YASAIJYUKU

神保町駅から歩いてすぐ。　ブッフェ式オーガニックレストラン。なんと、ランチもディナーも１２６０円！
This place is close to Jinbo-cho station. It's all you can eat organic food. It's only 1260yen for both lunch and dinner!

料理の素材は野菜が中心。 They have mainly vegetable dishes. 

全国約1000軒の提携生産者から取り寄せた無農薬の野菜を使っています。
They use chemical-free veggies grown by 1000 producers in Japan.

蒸しただけの野菜（にんじん・大根・里芋・じゃがいも・たまねぎ・さつまいも等)やサラダ。
They have steamed veggies (Carrots, white radish, taro potatoes, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes) and salads.

それから和食を基本としたお惣菜が数種。
And Japanese-deli.

ご飯は、玄米ごはんと五穀米のごはんの２種。お味噌汁が１種。カレーが１種。
They also have brown rice and 5 grain rice.  1 kind of miso-soup and 1 kind of curry rice.

このカレーには具がはいっていなくて、好きな温野菜を自分で加えてカスタマイズできるのが嬉しい（＾＾）
This is a custom-made curry as you can choose any steam veggies.

お肉や魚はなく、全て野菜。　しかも、薄味、塩分控えめ。デザートはゼリーかフルーツ。
There are NO meat or fish included. Plus the food tastes bland with reduced salt. For desserts, they have fruits or jelly.

物足りない・・・という人もいるかもしれないけど、素材そのものの味がいかされていて、野菜本来の美味しさが味わえる。（こんなに野菜っておいしいんだ！とはっとすると思う）
It might not satisfy some people (esp meat lovers) but they are using the freshness of the ingredients and you will realise how REAL vegetable tastes like. (You'll be surprised to taste how good they are!) 

しかも、たくさん噛むせいか、お腹いっぱいになるよ♪
Plus it's quite filling because you have to chew alot.　

さっそく、私のお気に入りの店になりました（＾＾）　もう２回もいっちゃいました（笑）　西洋人も結構いてびっくり！
This place has become one of my favourites! I've been there twice now (LOL)　We saw many Westerners too!!!

最小限の味付けで、素材そのものの味を楽しめるものが最高の贅沢だなぁ・・・と思う今日このごろでした。
I think the most luxurious food is the one which requires minimum seasoning and thus can bring out the natural sweetness.

素肌が綺麗であれば、最小限のお化粧でも美しいのと同じように・・・（＾＾）
It's like, if you have a good skin, you'll be beautiful with minimal make up! 

神様、体に良いものを美味しく食べられることに感謝です♪

SUN ROOM-ORGANIC RESTAURANT

ジェーンがきた時に一緒にいったお店を紹介します♪
Today, I'll show you the restaurant that we went when Jane was in Japan.

ジェーンは・・・小麦粉（パスタ・パン）、卵、添加物等に対してアレルギーをもっていた・・・！
Jane was allergic to wheat (pasta and bread), eggs and preservatives.

というわけで、そんなジェーンが材料を気にせずに美味しく食べれる店・・・ということでＹが調べてくれたんだ（＾＾）
So Y found a good place where Jane can enjoy her meal without worrying about the ingredients.

見つけたのは、和風オーガニックレストラン「さんるーむ」というお店。“安全・安全・健康”が売りの店なんだって☆
The place is called "Sun Room", a Japanese style organic restaurant. They have "SAFE・SECURE・HEALTHY" meals.

種類豊富なおかずが少しずつ沢山食べられて、ご飯は麦飯か黒米どちらか、そしてとろろか野菜スープかも選べられる。
The set dinner included main dish and many side dish. We could choose between grain rice or black rice, Japanese yam topping or vegetable soup.

 

私が頼んだ長寿定食☆　豚の角煮なども入っていてボリュームも満天。
I ordered "LONG-LIFE SET" It was quite filling with pork. 

ジェーンが頼んだのは、大豆バーグ・・・！感激していたよ♪
Jane's set had soyburger♪　She loved it!

Ｙが頼んだロールキャベツ定食！　これも美味しかった～＾＾
And Y ordered stuffed cabbage!!! This was delicious too!

デザートの黒ゴマプリン♪　We had Blac sesame pudding for dessert!

　

アップルパイ♪　Apple pie！

体に良いものが一番スキなのって、すごく幸せ＾＾
I'm so blessed because I loooooove healthy food!

ジェーンも、お米、海草、大豆などがすきで、まるっきり日本人！
Jane loves rice, seaweed, soy products etc... completely Japanese!

はじめての黒米に感動してました～
She was excited trying blackrice for the first time!

オーガニック・・・　はまってます（＾＾）　I'm into organic food... ;)

nana's green tea cafe

大阪についてちょっと書きたいんだけど、今日は時間がないので、他の話題に。
I'm planning to write about Osaka but I don't have time today so I will write about it next time.

通訳学校にまだ通っていますが、宿題の量が恐ろしいです・・・！来週はいよいよプレゼンです。
I'm still taking interpreting course. The amount of homework I get everytime is horrific! (LOL) Next week, I'm going to do a presentation.

家では勉強できない性格なので、お気に入りのカフェで勉強しています。
I'm a person who can't study at home so I alway study in cafes that I like.

お茶の水のこのカフェは、人が少ないし和風スイーツが充実していて、大満足です♪
This cafe in Ochanomizu is one of my favorites, as they have many Japanese sweets and it's not crowdy.

nana's green tea

わらびもち大好き～～～～！！！　
I LOOOOOVE WARABIMOCHI! (sweet jelly with soybean powder and syrup)

抹茶は何でも好きです！ I love GREEN TEA!

他にも食事系、パフェ、ぜんざいや小豆ドリンクなどもあってツボです☆
Also they have meals, parfaits, redbean sweets and drinks... everything that I like!

ぜひぜひ、御茶ノ水にいった際はたちよってください～ ちょっと歩くけど・・・
If you go to Ochanomizu, please go here... you have to walk a little though...

ちなみに神保町のスタバはすいてました。2時間勉強できたよ♪　ＢＧＭもほとんどなかった。　その隣のマックでは2～3時間勉強できました。ちょっと穴場？
By the way, starbucks in Jinbo-cho was not crowdy too! I studied there for 2 hours.They had quiet music, I could hardly hear it! Also the McDonalds next to that Starbucks was good too... I studied there for 2~3 hours. They were great spots for studying!

"Izumimo visiting HANAYASHIKI" series.

バカ物館という名に惹かれ、期待を膨らませながら、バカ物館を目指した私達・・・
Because we were so curious about "Dummy's Museum", we headed there with expectations....

ん？なんか入り口ちっちゃい？？？
The entrance looked small....

さっそく中に入ってみたら・・・　
As we entered inside and looked around....

え・・・・！？？？？ Huh??????

ネタばれは出来ないけど・・・　言葉失った。
I can't tell you everything, but we were speechless....

だって・・・　Because...

ジョークがちょっと寒かった　The jokes were quite sad....

ほら・・・　see....

悔しいから撮影（笑）　この光加減とMIMOのポーズが面白い（笑）
As we were a little frustrated, we took photos to entertain ourselves.... MIMO in spotlight! Funny hey!

気をとりなおして、館内をブラブラした。
We walked around the building.

そして、休憩所発見！ And we found the resting place...

そこで大爆笑！ And we laughed so much as we saw the place...!

だって・・・　that was because....

たたみとマッサージチェアだよおおおおおお！！！！！
They had tatami mat and massage chairs!!!!

何故・・・・？　Why????

あまりの遊園地とあわない組み合わせに私達は大爆笑し、大盛り上がり！

ちょっとくつろいでみた（笑）
We had a rest there (LOL)

何やってるんだ・・・うちら（笑）
What are we doing!!???(LOL)

普通の人はすぐに出てしまうであろうこの館内で30分以上ほぼ貸切で過ごした後に最後の乗り物を決めることに。
After resting in that building for more than 30 minutes where normal people would just walk pass. We had to decide our last ride...

そこで選択は2択あった。We had two options.

怖いのに乗るか、怖くないものに乗るか。
To try a scary ride or a ride that's not scary...

はっきりいって私は、ジェットコースター系が苦手。　さかさまになるものは無理。
I don't like rollercoasters and rides that go upside down.

mimoに聞いてみると When I asked mimo she said

「私結構のれるんだよぉ～♪」というから
"I'm okay with rollercoasters~"

「すごいね！！！　私駄目なんだよね・・・ディズニーのスペースマウンテンが限界で・・・」
So I answered, "Wow! you're better than me, I only can go on SPACE MOUNTAIN ride in Disneyland."

MIMO：　「・・・・」

私　「え？？？」　Me: "What's wrong???"

MIMO  「私もスペースマウンテンが限界なんだけど・・・・」 
"SPACE MOUNTAIN RIDE is my limit too...."

私： 「ええええええ！？　それってのれるっていわないじゃん！！！！！」
Me: "WHHHAAAT that means you can't go on scary rides!!!"

MIMO：　「えへ☆」 "haha!"

気を取り直して、再び2択に戻る・・・　We thought about it again...

怖いのを選ぶとしたら、　これ↓　「ディスク・オー」
The scary one it would be this one　"DISC O"

怖くないのといえば・・・　これ↓
The not-so-scary ride it would be this...

メリーゴーランド・・・　Merry-go-round!

いや・・・　20をこえて、メリーゴーランドはないだろう？？？と思う人もいるかとは思いますが・・・・
Well, I think most people will think that it's quite embarrassing to go on the Merry-go-round when your over 20....

私達は真剣に悩みました・・・ But we couldn't decide for a long time!!!

しばらく悩んでからMIMOが口を開いた。
After thinking for a great amount of time, MIMO said this...

「みて、あんなにたくさんのちびっこたちがディスク・オーにのってるよ！彼らがのれるんなら、うちらものれるよ！！！」
"Look, there are so many kids on that DISC O ride...! If they can go on that, we can!"

というわけで、ディスク・オーに決定！
So we decided to go on the DISC O ride.

 

でも、乗り物が動き始まる前に気がついた・・・
But we realised just before this ride started...

みかけ以上に怖い・・・！
It was scarier than we thought!!!

そして、乗ったものの、体を固定するベルトが見当たらなかったので、二人で超焦った！！！
And when we just got on the ride, we panicked because we couldn't find any belts!!!

「もしかして、おのれの腕力のみで、耐えろってこと！？？？　無理だよおおお。おっこちるよ～～～」
"Does this mean that we have to hold on tightly without any belts??? that's impossible! We're going to fall off...!!! Ahhhh!!!"

きゃーきゃーいっている間、係りの人がきて、背中を支えるものを出してくれた・・・。うちらって本当におばか・・・＾＾；；；
While we were panicking, the staff came and got out something to sustain our backs... we were so silly!!!

そして、ついに乗り物が動き始めた・・・
And finally the ride started moving...

超こわかったんですけどおおおおおお
It was sooooooo scary!!!!!!

とにかく高い！そして、回転！！！　みんなの悲鳴が聞こえた！
It goes up really high and it spins!!! Every one was screaming!

終わってふらふらな私・・・ I felt dizzy afterwards...　

半泣きのMIMO・・・（笑 Mimo, half-crying!

最後にプリクラをとって、花やしきを出て行った。
We took PURIKURA afterwards and left HANAYASHIKI.

「花やしきは大人がいっても・・・」っていう人もいるけど
Some say "HANAYASHIKI is not for adults..."

十分楽しかったよ！！！　but we had so much fun!!!

一緒に行く人によるかもね。（笑　私達は笑いのツボが一緒だから、終始笑っていたし、楽しめた～♪
Perhaps it will depend on WHO you will go with. We laugh at same things so we were laughing throughout the day, and enjoyed our time there...!

でも思った・・・ But I thought...

いずみもには、つっこみ系の人が絶対に必要！！！
IZUMIMO needs someone who can correct us!!!

帰ってきた後のMIMO...　相当お疲れだったらしく壊れてた・・・！　「そんなのかんけいねえええ」ってつぶやいてたよ＾＾；；；
Mimo back at home... she was so tired that she became a little weird...! She was whispering, "Sonnano kankei ne-" (a famous line by a Japanese comedian meaning "that's not my business") 　

IZUMIMO IN HANAYASHIKI Part 1

日曜レポの前に祝日ということで、お勧めスポット紹介します♪
Before I post about Sunday, I will post this first.

今回は2回のシリーズです♪ This is a 2 part series!

一部でリクエストが多かった、いずみも　花やしきへいくの巻。
"Izumimo visiting HANAYASHIKI" series. Some people have been asking me to post this.

MIMOがゆずってもらった花やしきの無料券をもらったので、一緒にいこうということに。
Mimo received a free ticket to "HANAYASHIKI" (traditional amusement park in Asakusa) so we decided to go there.

他の人に聞いたら、 「花やしき何もないよ・・・！」といわれたけど、それでも話題づくりにいくことに。
Some people told us that there is nothing interesting about HANAYASHIKI, but we just went there for fun!

チャーチでもダブル・ボケで方向音痴という組み合わせで有名なＩＺＵＭＩＭＯ・・・
Many people in church (esp Japanese people) know us for being funny and having no sense of direction....

出だしから間違えたーーーーーー！！！
We made a mistake from the beginning!!!

池袋→浅草まで、適当に何かの地下鉄でいけばたどりつくだろうと甘い考えだったうちら。（いや路線であらかじめ調べようよという突っ込みはなしね・・・）
We thought that we can get on any subway line to go to Asakusa from Ikebukuro.

有楽町線で電車にのった途端・・・ＭＩＭＯが気づいた。
When we got on the Yurakucho-line train, MIMO realised...

「いーちゃん・・・　ＪＲから上野で乗り換えるんだった・・・！しかもこの電車反対方向にいってる！！！」
"Izumi, I realised that we had to take the JR train to Ueno and change there...! And this train is heading to the opposite direction...!"

あいたたたた・・・　また池袋に戻るうちら・・・再スタートしました（笑）
Ouch....! (LOL) We went back to Ikebukuro and started all over again.

出だしから怪しいうちら・・・　なんとか駅につきました。
We didn't know if we can make it...! But somehow we arrived at the place.

すわっているよ・・・・（笑）　子供のようなＭＩＭＯ...
Mimo squatting like a small child...(LOL)

そして浅草到着～。　浅草って・・・
And we arrived at Asakusa. Asakusa was....

たのしいいいいいいい　SO FUUUUN!!!!!!

そして誘惑が多い・・・ And so many temptations...

じゅる・・・　MMM.....

このまま、この通りだけで十分だと思いつつ、二人で花やしきへ
We were quite satisfied just walking around but we headed to HANAYASHIKI.

花やしき通りを通過しなければいけないんだけど・・・
We had to walk through HANAYASHIKI STREET....

それにしても。。。 But....

なんか、あやしい？？？ It looked strange!!!!

だって、洋服屋にこんなマネキンいるし～～～！！！！
One clothes shop had this mannequin....!!!

夜怖そう・・・ Imagine seeing this at night...

裏がカタカナだし・・・　あやしい（笑）
The Japanese here was unusual....

怪しい怪しいと笑いながらたどりついた。
We kept on sayin "this place is strange...!" and we finally arrived at the place.

さっそく遊び始めたＭＩＭＯ。 Mimo suddenly started playing...

それにしても花やしきつっこみどころ満載だった・・・（笑）　さりげなくホラーな部分もあるんだよ（笑）
We had so much fun finding funny things about HANAYASHIKI. There was something scary about this place.

よくみてみて・・・ Please look carefully....

ゴミ箱付近にこんなのあるし～！！！
Look what's near the rubbish bin...

でも、一番ホラーだったのはＭＩＭＯ！
But MIMO was the scariest....!!!

ある場所に二人でむかったんだけど、ＭＩＭＯが「いーちゃん、この階段の上だよ～って指をさした階段が・・・」
We were heading to this particular place and MIMO said, "Izumi, it's up here!" and she pointed to the stairs...

えええええ！？　この階段じゃないでしょ～　
I thought, "NO WAY....! It can't be this!"

汚いし。。。（笑） It looked dirty too!!!

・・・といいつつもＭＩＭＯが凄い勢いでのぼっていくので、ついていった。
But I still followed her as she climbed the stairs quickly

上までいっても何もない・・・！スタッフ専用階段だったから・・・
There was nothing  up there!!! This stairs was for the staffs....

笑ってるＭＩＭＯ．．．　Mimo was laughing....

本当の入り口はここでした。 This was the actual entrance...!

そうだよね・・・　そうだよね・・・！！！（いずみ心の声）
My head was saying... "The actual entrance!!! should look like this!!!!"

で、何のアトラクションを目指してたかって？　それは・・・
So which attraction were we aiming for...?

バカ物館！！！！　（笑）　だって・・・名前がきになったんだもん～・・・。
BAKA MUSEUM!!! (It means, Dummy's museum...) We were so curious about this place...

HARVEST/IKEBUKURO

グルメレポです～　Food report again!

年末にMIMOと池袋のはーべすと にいってきました！
At the end of last year, I went to a restaurant called "HARVEST" in Ikebukuro with MIMO.

メトロポリタンプラザ8Fの自然食のバイキング。平日は1,600円で、90分食べ放題！
You can have "all you can eat organic food." It only costs 1600yen (weekdays) for 90minutes.

有機野菜を使った料理が多いので、とってもヘルシー♪
They have organic veggies dishes so it's really healthy!

和食だから更に嬉しい！
I like how it's mainly Japanese dishes!

種類が多すぎて選ぶのが大変！
It's hard to choose because there are too many kinds..!(LOL)

綺麗ではありませんが・・・こんな感じです（笑　ほぼ野菜だ～！！！！
It doesn't look that appealing here but You can see how it's mainly veggies!!!

結構お腹いっぱいになるんだよ～　It's quite filling!

ご飯も６穀米、玄米、季節の炊き込みご飯、とろろご飯など色々あるし、お味噌汁も種類が豊富。
They had different kinds of rice such as 6 grains rice, brown rice, seasonal mixed ingredients rice, Japanese yam rice. And they also had different kinds of miso-soup as well.

もちろん、ボリュームが欲しい人のためにから揚げやカレーもある。
Ofcourse they had fried chicken and curry for those who want heavy food.

デザートも和風スイーツで、二人で大満足♪
We were really satisfied as they had Japanese-style desserts :)

それにしても、バイキングいきすぎじゃない？？？って思っている人・・・！！！
I'm sure some of you are thinking that I go to "All-you-can-eat" too much!

でも、基本的に野菜とかヘルシーなものの食べ放題が好きなんです（＾＾）　一人じゃ、あれだけの品数作れないし。
But I like "All-you-can-eat healthy food", a place where you can eat mainly veggies! I can't make that amount of dishes by my own.

いっぱい食べたいけど、ヘルシーなものが食べたいな～という人は是非ここにどうぞ♪

HOLIDAY IN ITO (PART 2)

伊東の良いところは自然がいっぱいあったところです。空気が気持ちよかった～
What I really liked about Ito was how it was surrounded by nature. The air was soooo fresh!　

よく皆で散歩したんだ～ We walked together alot.

人が歩いていなくて気持ちよかった  Nobody else was walking...!

春も綺麗なんだって～！ They told me that the place looks beautiful in spring

長いウォーキングの後はカフェで休憩
We had a rest at the cafe after a long walk

これを食べたら歩いた意味なし（笑）

散歩中に、面白いものにたくさん出会いました。
While we were walking, we saw so many interesting things

こんな可愛い子に遭遇！　Bumped into this cutie!!

2匹もいた～☆　豆柴大好き～！
There were 2 of them! Mameshiba is one of my favorite kind!

The dog was interested in Han-chan's bread

おばさんの家庭菜園～！　新鮮野菜で美味しかった☆　
Summer's aunty's vegetable garden. The veggies were really fresh and delicious!!!!

夜は再びごちそう・・・！（笑) We had big dinner again... (L)

いやあ・・・・写真でみてお分かりの通り、凄く「満たされた」年末年始でした！
As you can guess from the photos, I was really "FULFILLING" End of year and New Years.

オーストラリアの家族に会えなかった分、今回サマーの親戚と一緒に過ごせて、そして歓迎されて嬉しかった♪
Because I couldn't see my family in Australia, I was really happy to spend time with Summer's relatives. They were really warm.

時間から解放されて、美味しいもの食べて、歩いて、家族でテレビをみて・・・というシンプルな生活をして、すっごくリフレッシュされたんだ。
I felt really refreshed as I was liberated from time, eat so many delicious food, walk and watch TV with the family.

また素敵な出会いもいっぱいありました！ 皆良い人で幸せだった～
Also, I met so many great people!!! I was so blessed!

神様から愛されてるな～って感謝しました。　ジーザス、ありがとう！
I really felt God's love. Thank you Jesus!!!

ちなみに、サマーのいとこ夫婦が経営しているお店が経堂にあるらしいので、今度遊びにいきたいと思います～☆
By the way, Summer's cousin's shop is located near KYODO station so I want to visit there one day ;)

HOLIDAY IN ITO!!

ただいまー！！！　I'm back!!!

３１～２日かけて伊東にいってきました！
From 31st to 2nd I went to a place called ITO. (near Mt Fuji!)

チャーチの友達のサマーの親戚の別荘に泊まらせてもらったの♪ この休暇は神様からのプレゼントでした。
I stayed at Summer's relative's holiday home...! This holiday was a gift from God!!!

2日間とにかく・・・食べまくった（笑）　たぶん一年分ぐらいのご馳走を食べた（笑）
For 2 days... we ATE and ATE!!! Perhaps, I ate 1 year's worth of treat!!!

でもカロリー消費のために大自然の中でウォーキングもしたから健康的だった・・・はず？（笑）
But we walked in the nature to burn off the calories! So we weren't that lazy... I think(LOL)

とっても素敵な家♪ Really nice house...!

初日に食べたご馳走・・・！　こんなにたくさんカニ食べれて幸せだった！！！
The delicious feast that we had on the first night... So blessed to eat plenty of crabs!

食べ過ぎで焦ってダイエットマシーンにのるサマーと私（笑）　これは10分のれば2時間分のウォーキングと同じカロリーを消費するらしい・・・。値段を聞いたらびっくりだよ！
Because we ate too much, we used this Diet Machine often...! (LOL) It is said that 10 minutes on this machine will burn the same calories as 2 hours walking... ! You'll be shocked if I tell you the price of this machine...

かなりゆれるんだよ～（笑） It had a strong vibration!

サマーのおばさんの提案で、夕飯後、みんなで散歩にでかけました。人が誰もいなくて、星がたくさん見れてすっごく綺麗だった～～！！！！　感動しました♪
Summer's aunty suggested to walk around the neighbours after dinner so we all went outside. There weren't any people around and there were so many stars!!! It was sooo beautiful! I was moved!

二日目-　みんなで朝の散歩の後にブランチ
Day 2- We had brunch after the morning walk

こんなに素敵なキッチンがあれば、料理しがいがあるよね♪
If I had this kitchen in my house, I'm sure I'll be cooking all the time! 　

サマーのおばさん、サマー、サマーのいとこのお嫁さんのはんちゃんと私で料理のしたくをしました！
Summer's aunty, Summer, Summer's cousin and myself prepared the feast.

サマーのおばさんは本当に気さくで素敵☆　「いずみさん、お客さんあつかいしないから、手伝って。」といって、準備に加わらせてもらったの！家族の一員になったような気持ちになって、凄く嬉しかった～＾０＾　
Summer's aunty was really friendly and soooo nice!!! She said, "Izumi, I'm not going to treat you differently, you can prepare the food with us" I was really happy as she treated me as part of the family.

ブランチです～！凄いでしょ・・・！ This was our brunch...! Amazing!

Summer's relative's cultural background is Korean, so we had plenty of Korean Dishes. I was so happy because I love Korean food!!!!

新年あけましておめでとうございます～！！！！！
Happy New Year!!!!! 

もう２００８年ですね･･･。　驚くぐらい時間経過が早いです。
It's 2008 already!!! I can't believe how fast time flies.

今年の抱負やチャーチの様子は３日以降ＵＰします！
I will update about my new year's resolution and church after 3rd of January.

マミー作の柿の葉寿司とえびの手まり寿司～。　中はしめ鯖らしい。　キレイ！
My mum's home made Sushi (perssimon leaf and prawn) Sour mackarel inside.. looks beautiful!

上のにんじんの飾りつけが桜だけど、秋用にイチョウやもみじの型がほしかったそうなので、今回おみやげに頼まれました。
My mum asked me to buy her autumn leaves and ginko shaped cutters so she can use them in autumn season instead of the cherry blossom shaped cutter.

というわけで、合羽橋にいってきたの！
So I went to this town called KAPPABASHI

料理器具が大好きな人、食器等が必要な人・・・是非、合羽橋にいってください！！！　超盛り上がること間違いなし（笑）
If you like cooking units or eating utensils please go to KAPPABASHI!!! I'm sure you'll become excited!!!

もみじ型とイチョウ型がちょうど良い値段ですぐに見つかりました!
I found the autumn leaves and ginko shaped cutters really quickly! And it wasn't expensive!

MY BIRTHDAY LIFEGROUP

月曜日はライフグループの皆で私のバースデーを祝ってくれました♪♪
On Monday, my lifegroup girls celebrated my birthday!

ライフグループは・・・週に一回集まって、食べて、話してバイブルスタディをするグループ☆
Life group is a group that gathers together once a week to eat, talk and study the Bible.

バースデーには、いつものライフグループメンバー3人に加えて、２年前からこのブログを通じて友達になったKちゃんがきてくれたんだぁ！！！すっごく嬉しかった（＾＾）
For my birthday, 3 of my lifegroup girls came and also K, who I became friends with through this blog came along! I've known for her 2 years... I was so happy for her to come!

この日、ゆうこりんが選んでくれた場所は新宿のトマッティーニャというイタリアン！
On this day, we went to this Italian restaurant called TOMATINA in Shinjyuku.

すっごく素敵な場所だった～（＾＾）
It was such a great place～

ビルの地下で、中が洞窟っぽい☆
It's located on the basement level and the interior is like a cave.

We got really full after this!!! After eating, they gave me presents...!!!!

It was funny how my lifegroup girls and K didn't know what they were going to give me, but they all selected HEART SHAPED gifts... they said that's my image.

でも、一番嬉しかったのは・・・
But the greatest gift was....

言葉のギフト★☆ WORDS!!!

私のライフでは、バースデーの人に聖書箇所とその人にむけてのメッセージをプレゼントするんだよね♪
In my lifegroup, each of us chooses one scripture for the birthday person and say something nice about them!

ガールズひとりひとりが、聖書箇所と私に対するメッセージを目の前でいってくれた☆
Each girls chose the scripture for me and gave me a birthday message!

自分がされると少し恥ずかしかった・・・けど、本当にじーんとしたんだよ！！！
It was a bit embarrassing.... but I was touched!

I felt really happy when I heard them saying;

"LOVE U!"

I'm so happy having them in my lifegroup!

大分前の話になっちゃったんだけど・・・この前のライフグループはマンツーマンだったので、場所を変えてみたんだ。

行ったのは、新宿のサザンテラスの一番奥にある「ＴＲＡＶＥＬ　ＣＡＦＥ」

期間限定（～12/31）で「モデルスタイルBBカフェ」になっていて、ヘルシーメニューが盛りだくさん。
Until 31st Dec, it's called "MODEL-STYLE BB CAFE" with healthy food menu.

ＨＩＭＡのスモークサーモンとアボカドのベーグル☆　もっちもちでおいしかったー。
Hima's Smoked Salmon and Avocado Bagle! It was so chewy and delicious!

豆腐チョコムース　豆腐からできてるのでヘルシー。豆腐だってわからなかった！
Tofu chocolate mousse, it's healthy because it's made from TOFU... Actually, I couldn't tell that it was made from TOFU.

それにしてもこの時期の新宿はすっごく綺麗・・・。
Shinjyuku in this season, is very beautiful....

クリスピークリームドーナッツ・・・まだ並んでるよ！雨なのにみんなすごい・・・
People are still queuing for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts!!! It was even raining!

この前、通訳学校で前のクラスが一緒だった子３人とご飯を食べました☆
Few days ago, I had dinner with the girls who used to be in my previous translating class.

いったところは、新宿のＺＵＺＵ
We went to a place called ZUZU in shinjyuku

そうなんです。お茶づけバーなの・・・！でもお茶づけ以外にも色々美味しいものあったよ～
Yes, it's a ochazuke bar (Ochazuke is Japanese rice soaked in hot water... usually we add toppings to make it taste better) They also had other kinds of food as well.

えびとアボカドのパフェ！　サラダをパフェ風で食べるのははじめて・・・中にコーンフレークがはいっていて笑えた！
Prawn and Avocado Salad Parfait! This is my first time eathing this... they had cereals insid. I found it funny...!

ほたてのカルパッチョと牛肉のたたき（ねぎたっぷり！）　はみでちゃった葉っぱごめんなさい・・・＾＾；；；　ブロガーとしてだめだわ・・・
Raw Scallop and Beef with shallot...! Sorry for the leaf there.. I'm not a good blogger for not removing that from the photo ;P

じゃーん　メインのお茶漬けです！　私はひつまぶしお茶漬けを頼みました。
This is the main OCHAZUKE. I ordered Hitsumabushi (Eel) Ochazuke.

そのほかにも、鶏ささみ、タイ茶漬け、明太子、さんま、豚肉などなど１０種類以上あります。
They have other kinds like, Lean Chicken, sea bream, Mentaiko, Brevoort (Sanma fish), Pork etc... more than 10 kinds

ご飯は全て玄米なのでヘルシー。出汁もかなり美味しかった！
They use brown rice so it's really healthy. The soup was delicious as well!

新宿とは思えないぐらいくつろげたよ。予約したので個室がとれたし♪　平日にいって１０００円ＯＦＦにしてもらうのがお勧めです。
It's a really comfy place, (Rare in Shinjyuku) and because we booked, we had a private room. I recommend you to go there during weekdays and use 1000 yen off voucher.

学校の外で会ってご飯するのは初めてだったけど、お互いのことを知ることができてよい時間をすごせた。
This was my first time having dinner with them and it was a great opportunity getting to know them better.

３人のうちの２人は新しいクラスも同じ。それぞれ前クラスと今のクラスの違いとか、感じ方が違って面白かった。
2 girls out of 3 are in the same class as me now. It was interesting how everyone had different comments about the new class and the difference between the last one and this one.

みんなで納得したのは、クラスのレベルがあがったせいか、今学期のスピードとボリュームは半端じゃない・・・！　でも、週に２回きっちり勉強できて充実しているよね♪♪と勉強を楽しんでいる人達ばかり＾＾
We all agreed that because we are in a higher level class now, this class is moving really fast with loads of things to study!!! But studying what you like twice a week is very satisfying!

神様、大好きな通訳を勉強させてくれる機会を与えてくれてありがとう。難しくて量が多くて「きゃーーー」ってなることもあるけど（笑）、こうやって学べることは幸せです。それを通してたくさんの友達もありがとう。彼女たちにも少しずつ種がまけますように・・・
Thank you God for giving me the opportunity to study translating, what I really enjoy. Sometimes I feel like screaming because of the volume and difficulty (LOL) but I'm so blessed to learn new things. And thank you for all the people who I meet through this course. I pray that I can sow seeds into their lives.

毎回宿題いっぱい・・・でも、頑張ります！　チャーチでもパワーアップしていきますのでよろしくねー

I ordered 3 beans. It contained redbean, black bean, black sesame, low-fat yoghurt, soymilk and black syrup.

他にもストロベリーチーズケーキ、アボカド、アップルジンジャーなど面白そうなのがあったよ～。全部で16種類あるとか。
There had other interesting ones like Strawberry cheesecake, avocado and apple ginger. I heard that they have 16 kinds.

パッピンスという韓国のスイーツをご存知ですか？
Do you know Korean Dessert called PAPPINSU?

韓国風のカキ氷なんだけど、上にたくさんトッピングがのっていて、かなりのボリューム♪　これが大好きなの！
It's a Korean style ice with alot of ingredients and it's quite filling! I love it!

Seafood Chijimi (pancake) it was delicious!

タットリタン（鶏肉入りの鍋）はボリュームがあった！
TATTORITAN (HOT POT WITH CHICKEN) was filling!

そして、これがパッピンスです！！！　小豆、フルーツ、牛皮、ゼリーなど色々はいってるの。
This is PAPPINSU! It contains redbeans, fruits, sticky rice, jelly etc...

ここのパッピンスの特徴は、五味子茶をかけて食べること！！！　五味子茶は韓国の伝統的茶で、これをかけることによって後味がさっぱりして体にいいんだって♪　相性よかったよ！
The unique thing about the PAPPINSU here is that you pour the special traditional tea on to it. This makes the after-taste light. It tasted good with the tea.

ビビンバと同様ぐちゃぐちゃに混ぜてから食べるんだ。お行儀が・・・というのは関係なし！（笑）　3人でも超おなかいっぱいになった！
Just like bibimbop (rice bowl dish), you mix this really hard before you eat it... don't worry about manners! 3 of us got so full after eating this!

甘いものスキなあなたにお勧めです・・・♪　予約してからいくのをおすすめします！

This is my favorite Japanese-style cafe in Shinjyuku.

ルミネ１の六階にあるＹＵＳＯＳＨＩ！ここには4回ぐらいいってるの☆
Yusoshi in LUMINE 1, 6th floor. I've been there about 4 times.

ここのいいところはラウンジとお座敷があるところ！すごくオシャレでくつろげるの♪
The good thing about this place is that it has both lounge and Japanese style seats. It's really stylish and comfy.

そして・・・料理もオシャレ♪　和風ベースなんだけども、創作料理っぽくて、ヘルシーでユニーク！
And the food is stylish too! It's Japanese style fusion, healthy and original.

オムソバ飯。　Omlette+noodles+rice

卵がとろとろでおいしかった～　The egg was soft and delicious!

アボカド明太マヨマグロ丼！！！　これが、激うまでしたー！！！　アボカドと明太子があうのがアボカド好きな私には大発見！
Avocado Mentaiko Mayonaise Tuna Rice bowl!! THIS WAS SUPER DELICOUS!!!! I realised that Avocado and Mentaiko goes together!

この前、スケベニンゲンにいってきました！！！（笑）
Few days ago I went to "SUKEBE NINGEN"

この名前を聞いてドキっとする人もいるかもしれませんが、イタリア料理店です☆
I'm sure people will be surprised when they hear this name, "SUKEBE NINGEN" as it means "HORNY PERSON" in Japanese.. but this is the name of an Italian restaurant!

ちなみにスケベニンゲンとはオランダのリゾート地名「Scheveningen」です。
By the way, "SUKEBE NINGEN" is actually 「Scheveningen」the name of the resort place in Holland.

まず、座ったと同時にランチセットのサラダとドリンクがすぐに運ばれてきます。
As you take your seat, they will immediately bring you salad and drink. (included in the lunch set)

50種類あるパスタは、パスタはデュラム小麦を100％使用した最高級品でナポリ以外に日本で食べられるのはこのお店のみ!
There are more than 50 kinds of pasta, which is made by 100% Durum wheat. This wheat is expensive and this is the only restaurant that uses this wheat in Japan.

私たちが頼んだのは・・・　コトコト野菜を煮込んだトマトベースのスープのパスタ！
We ordered pasta with tomato-based soup with simmered veggies.

巨大な豚肉がのっかっていた！　There was big piece of pork meat on top!

シーフードたっぷりのパスタ！　Pasta with plenty of seafood.

味は・・・かなり美味しかった！！！！ It tasted soooo good!

とくにスープが美味しくて、キレイに食べてしまったよ！
The soup was really delicious so I finished it all!

店の名前はびっくりだけど、いってみる価値あるので是非いってみてね！
Even you might feel funny about the name of the restaurant but it's really worth going so I recommend you to have lunch here.

Mc Cafe in EBISU!

この前、ライフグループのイベントでマックカフェにいってきました♪
Last time, for our lifegroup outreach, we went to McCafe together!

オーストラリアや他の国には既に定着しているマックカフェですが、日本にオープンしたのは2007年８月２９日。しかもまだ全国で15店舗しかない。
McCafe is already popular in Australia and other countries, but Japan only started McCafe from 29th August 2007. There are currently only 15 stores in Japan right now. 

この日、私たちが選んだのは一番綺麗そうな、恵比寿ガーデンプレイスにあるマックカフェ。
This day we chose McCafe in Ebisu Garden place because I thought it was the cleanest.

女の子6人で集まりました！ 6 girls came along!

オープニングでは30分～2時間待ちの行列だったという話を聞いたんだけど、私たちがいったのは月曜の夜のせいか比較的ガラガラ。
I heard that at the opening day, there were 30min~2 hours queue, but because we went on Monday night, there weren't many people.

マックカフェが普通のマックの中にあるのは、驚きでした！！もっとわかれていたら、いいのに・・・と思ったけど、つられて普通のマックメニューからも買ってしまうのが狙いなのかも！？
I was surprised that McCafe was not separated from McDonalds. It would've been better if the area was divided but perhaps that is McDonald's strategy... to lead people to buy from normal Maccas!

肝心のメニューですが・・・　バラエティーにとんでたよ The had a wide range of food.

フードメニューは、かぼちゃのスープ、いろどり野菜と豆のスープなどの「ナチュラルスープ」をはじめ、卵・えび・ブロッコリーのクロワッサンなどの「マックデリ」あんぱん、バゲッドなど15種類のパンをミニサイズで展開する「ベーカリー」（各100円）。デザートは、「シャキ氷」や「南国マンゴーのジェラート」など。
The food menu included natural soup such as pumpkin soup, veggies soup, and Mc Deli including egg/prawn/brocolli croissants and Bakery including 15 kinds of breads. (all 100 yen)  They also have desserts like ice and Mango gelato.

コーヒーは「ホットコーヒー」、「エスプレッソ」、「ブラウンカプチーノ」などアイスを含む9種類を提供してるんだって☆
They also provide 9 kinds of hot/ice coffee including "HOT COFFEE", "ESPRESSO", "BROWN CAPPUCCHINO".

じゃーん！　私が頼んだのは　ドリンク＋スープ＋パンのセットです！　
I ordered, drink＋soup＋bread set menu. 

スープは野菜と豆のスープにしたんだけど、思ったより具が入っていてよかった＾＾　
I chose veggies and beans soup and it was quite filling. 

もうちょっと場所がくつろげたら、もっとよかったんだけど・・・
It would've been better if the place was more comfy...

女の子が集まるとそんなのはあまり関係なし！ひたすらおしゃべりで盛り上がったよ（笑）
But it doesn't really matter when girls gather together..! We had great time chatting!

今日紹介したいのは、この前母親といった恵比寿にある「空ノ庭」
Today I will introduce "SORANO-NIWA" in Ebisu, where I had dinner with my mother last time.

何故ここを選んだかというと、豆腐・豆乳・豆料理が豊富だから・・・！
The reason why I chose here was because they had many TOFU, SOYMILK and BEAN dishes.

豆腐・豆乳料理は低カロリーで健康にも美容にも良い・・・ということで、当然お客さんは女性が多かった。お店の中もとってもおしゃれだったし♪
Because TOFU and SOYMILK are low calories that are good for healthy and beauty, the shop was packed with women customers. The decoration was the shop was really stylish!

めちゃ美味しかったので、写真のせますね♪

手作り空野豆腐  20分待ってお豆腐ができあがるのを待ちます
Home-made Tofu, we waited for 20 minutes until the soymilk became TOFU

できあがった豆腐・・・今まで食べた中で一番おいしかった☆
Tofu... it was the most delicious one I've ever tasted!

根菜のおからサラダ  bean curd refuse salad

合鴨と生湯葉のおろしぽんず  Duck with Tofu-skin

豚の角煮、豆乳入り　Pork with soymilk sauce

湯葉マンゴープリン！　Mango Pudding with Tofu-skin.

その他にもメニューにのっているもの何もかもが好みでした♪♪
Everything on the menu was really appealing to me...!

ドリンクの小豆ミルクやブルーベリー酢も美味しかったよ☆
I liked the red bean milk and blueberry vinegar drink too.

そして、久々にマミーとゆっくり話す時間がもてて最高の時間だった！
Also, it was so good to have plenty of time to talk to my mum!

I loooove Mexican food... Why is it soooo delicious!

またまたトスターダを頼んでしまった（笑）　おいしいんだもん！
We ordered Tostada again... because it's so yummy!

ビーフ・ブリトーです！　Beef Burritos! 

そしてチキンとビーフのファヒータ♪　もちもちした皮にまいて食べるのが美味しい♪
And chicken & Beef Fajita! You wrap it with sticky pastry... it's so delicous!

何よりも最高だったのが、お腹いっぱい食べたのに、5人だったし　１０％OFFクーポンを使ったので　一人900円でした。　安い！！！！　穴場です！
What was really Good was that we ate HEAPS but because we divided between 5 people and used the 10% discount coupon, everyone paid only 900yen each. It's quite cheap!!!

美味しいもの食べて、仲間と良い時間取れるのって最高だね♪♪　神様ありがと～！！！
I'm so blessed to have nice food and have a great time with my friends! Thank you God!!!

ちょっと最近、語りモードだったので、またグルメネタのせます♪
Today's post is going to be about food again...

週末お勧めスポット！！　"A good place to go during the weekends"

今回は、新宿御苑にある「オリオール」☆
Today I will introduce to you, "AUREOLE", located in Shinjyuku Gyoen.

「オリオール」は「自然」と「ヘルシー」がテーマのカフェ・レストラン。
AUREOLE is a cafe style restaurant, which has "natural" and "healthy" as its theme.

ここのオススメランチの「ラップサンド」をさっそくオーダーしました♪　サラダ、カップスープつきで800円！
I ordered "wraps" for lunch as it was one of their recommended dishes. The price was 880yen (around $9 AU dollars?) with salad and cup soups.

ここのラップは、ホウレン草を練り込んだ生地に無農薬玄米、肉、魚、レタス、トマト、ゆで卵など色々はいってます。結構ボリュームがあって、おなかいっぱいになるよ☆
The wrap is made out of spinach, and it has organic brown rice, meat or fish, lettuce, tomatoes and boiled eggs inside. It was quite filling!

友達が頼んだパスタも美味しそうだったよ～
My friend's pasta looked delicous too.　

テラス席もあって、外の景色をみながら食べて、ガールズトークをして・・・幸せな時間でした。
They had tables outside, so ate outside. We enjoyed the view and girl's talk!

では、月曜日のライフグループのゆうこりんのバースデーの話をします☆
I will share with you the Yuko's (from my life group) birthday dinner.

今回は特別に大阪から遊びにきていた私の友達のあやかちゃんとゆうこりんの中国人の彼氏のジョー（オーストラリアに住んでいて遠距離恋愛中）が特別に参加しました。
This time my friend from Osaka, Ayaka, and Yuko's Chinese boyfriend Jo (they are having a long-distance relationship as he lives in Australia) joined us!

今回私が選んだ店は・・・　新宿にあるメキシカン！　エルトリートです♪♪
The restaurant that I chose this time was... Mexican Restaurant in Shinjyuku!!! EL TORITO!

予約しないと、外で待つことになるらしいよ～。
If you don't book, you have to wait outside....

   

食べ放題のコーンチップス☆　これだけでおなかいっぱいになる！
You can eat as many corn chips as much as you like! It's pretty filling!

ドリンクも美味しい☆　The drinks are nice too.

大好きなガッカモーレ(アボカド)　目の前でアボカドをつぶしてくれます！
I love guacamole (avocado). They mash the avocado in front of you!

トスターダ：　豆とチキンの煮込み、その上にフレッシュサラダがどっさりのっています♪　お店の一押しだけあって、激うま！
TOSTADA: Cooked beans and chicken with Fresh Salad!!! It's one of the recommended dishes so it was deeeeelicous!　

まぜまぜするスミレ。　かっこいい（笑）
Sumire mixed it for us... she looks cool (LOL)

でも何よりも凄かったのが・・・　But what was really good was....

「トリオファヒータ」: マリネされた鶏肉・シュリンプ・ビーフの3種盛り。トルティーヤはおかわり自由。
" TRIO FAJITA":  Marinated chicken, prawns, beef. You can eat as many fajita as you want!

食べ物の話はここまでにして（笑）　主役のバースデーガールのゆうこりんについて話します♪
I will stop talking about food now, and focus on Yuko, the birthday girl of the night!

普段お嬢様っぽいゆうこりんにぴったりの日傘をプレゼントしたよ～♪　すっごく似合ってた！！！
Yuko is really feminine, so we gave her parasol as her gift. It really suited her!

可愛い～　So cute!

そして、このお店、クーポンをもっていくとバースデーサービスもあるんです！！！
And the restaurant has a special birthday service for those with the vouchers.

バースデーソングを歌ってくれて、記念撮影をしてくれて、あるものをかぶせられます。}
They will sing the birthday song, take photos and they put on you something really special....

でかいメキシカン帽！　超めだって、うけた（笑）
Huge Mexican hat!!! She stood out and that was funny (LOL)

サービスのデザート♪　　Free Dessert!

ジーザスも聖書でよく皆と食べ物をシェアしてたように、私達も仲良くシェア（笑）
As Jesus often shared food in the Bible, we shared our food too!

そこで、私のライフグループでは、モノのプレゼントの他に、バースデーガールに聖書の箇所をプレゼントします。
In my lifegroup, we also share the scripture to the birthday girl as a gift.

私がゆうこりんにプレゼントした箇所は　エペソ５：８－１０です。
The word I had for Yuko was Ephesians 5:8-10

「あなたがたは、以前は暗やみでしたが、今は、主にあって、光となりました。光の子どもらしく歩みなさい。 光の結ぶ実は、あらゆる善意と正義と真実なのです。そのためには、主に喜ばれることが何であるかを見分けなさい。」

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord."

何故この箇所を選んだかというと、私の中で ゆうこりん＝光（ぴっかぴか！）なの。
The reason why I chose this scripture is because, to me, Yuko = LIGHT (SHINING!)

ゆうこりんは私の元ルームメイトのジェーンがオーストラリアで出会って、ジェーンの教会で救われ、ジェーンのライフグループにいた子。ゆうこりんの成長をジェーンがよくメールで教えてくれていた。
Yuko was one of Jane's girls in Australia. She was saved in Jane's church and she used to go to Jane's lifegroup. Jane used to share with me about her growth in Christ.

ゆうこりんが日本に帰る時も　「いずみ、絶対ゆうこのこと大好きになるよ。本当に輝いているの！！！別れるのが辛いよ～～～」といっていたのを覚えている。
So I remember when Yuko was just about to leave Australia, Jane said to me, "I'm sure that you will like her!!! She's just a shining start! I don't want to say good bye to her~~~"

そして、ゆうこりんとジーザスライフハウスで会った時に、彼女の笑顔をみて思いました。「光だ～☆」って。
And When I met Yuko for the first time in Jesus Lifehouse, the my first impression of her was "LIGHT".

ピカピカ笑顔☆　Shining smile!

そして、日本での生活、日本での新しいチャーチ、就職活動、遠距離恋愛にとまどいながらも、ゆうこりんは神様を信頼し、信仰を強くもって、すくすくと成長しています！！
Even she faced difficulties at first, her life in Japan, new church in Japan, job hunting and long-distance relationship, Yuko trusted the Lord and held on to her faith. And she is really growing!!!

就職活動も、最終的には本人が望んでいたベストな仕事が与えられました！
For her job, God provided her the job that she always wanted!

何よりも感動したのが、彼氏・ジョーのゆうこりんにむけてのスピーチでした。
But what really touched me the most was Joe's message to Yuko.

「僕は、ゆうこと出会う前は、クリスチャンだったけど、チャーチに行ったり行かなかったり・・・神様と強い関係もなくて、自分がどういう道に進みたいのか、どういう人間なのか、わからなかった。　だけど、ゆうこと出会って、彼女がクリスチャンになって、どんどん神様にむかって成長しているのをみて、凄く励まされた。

そして、自分も毎週チャーチにいくようになって、神様にもっと近づいて、今は最高の関係を築いている。今は自分がどういう方向にいきたいのかビジョンも与えられた。そして、ゆうこと二人の関係も方向が明確になった。

このライフグループの皆のメッセージから、こうやって皆で励ましあって、影響しあえていることを本当に素敵なことだと思う。それが、できるのも神様が中心にいるからだと強く感じる。すごく感謝してる。」

"I was already a Christian before I met Yuko, but I didn't have a strong relationship with God. I didn't go to church every week. I didn't know who I was and what I wanted to do in my life. But since I met Yuko, and after she became a Christian, I was encouraged to see her changing and growing.

I started to attend church every week and I became closer to God. Now I have this great relationship with Jesus. And I know what I want to do for my future, and I know who I am. And I know where we are heading in our relationship.

Hearing all of you speaking encouraging words to each other, I was really touched. Because I realised how we all encourage each other and influence each other. And I believe we can do that because we have God in us. I am really thankful about that...."

凄く素敵なメッセージだったよ。　ゆうこりんとジョーの間に神様が強くいることを感じた。離れていても、神様が真ん中にいると繋がりが深いことを感じた。本当に素敵なカップルです。
That was a really great message. I felt strongly that God was in the center of Yuko and Jo's relationship. They are beautiful couple!

本当に、素敵な人間関係を神様ありがとう☆　
Thank you God for providing us, great relationships!

これからのゆうこりんの新しい季節にも乞うご期待！

Today I'm going to write about the recommended place to go during weekends.

今年に入ってから１０回は軽くバイキングにいっている私・・・
This year, I think I went to "all-you-can-eat" places at least 10 times...

今まで行ったところは、These include...

ホテルバイキング（シェラトン、パンパシフィック）しゃぶしゃぶバイキング（モーパラ）、デザートバイキング（デザート王国）、インドカレーバイキング、シズラーのサラダバー、アジアンバイキング（バリハイ）など・・・。
Hotel Buffet (Sheraton, Panpacific), Shabu-Shabu, Dessert buffet, Indian Curry buffet, Sizzler's Salad Bar, Asian Buffet etc...

全部自分が企画したわけではないですよ！　念のため・・・（笑）

私にとってバイキングで欠かせないものは・・・食べ放題の野菜。　野菜大好きだから、思い切りたくさん食べれると凄く得した気分になっちゃう♪
One of the most important thing when I go to "all-you-can-eat" is whether I can eat plenty of veggies or not. I looove veggies so I feel it's worth the price if I get to eat many.

そんな私にとって最高に嬉しかったのが、先月行った、有機野菜を豊富に使った料理が自慢のレストラン「chef's V」
So last month, I went to this "all-you-can-eat" restaurant, "Chef's V". They had dishes with organic vegetables.

渋谷にあるから、混んでいてゴミゴミしてるかな～と思っていたら、とんでもない！
Because it was located in Shibuya, I thought it would be crowded!

渋谷のcocotiにあるんだけど、とてもオシャレ！
It's at cocoti in Shibuya... it was a very stylish place!

外観もとってもオシャレ～♪ The exterior looks great!

野菜が大きめにカットされています！ They cut the veggies in big pieces.

もちろん、パスタや肉類、シーフード系もあったよ～
Ofcourse they had pasta, meat and seafood dishes too!

ジャーン☆　これだけ盛っても超ヘルシー♪
Look, even we eat heaps, it's really healthy!

バイキング時間も休日は60分(1,050)、90分(1,480)と選べて値段がそれぞれ違うので、是非是非いってみてくださいー。

土曜日はルームメイトのmimoが素敵な場所に連れて行ってくれました☆
On Sunday, my housemate mimo took me to a great place.

大泉学園にある豆腐懐石料理店「梅の花」。
"UMENO HANA" a tofu-food restaurant in Oizumi Gakuen.

実は、豆腐料理大好きな私はずーーーーーっとここにいきたかった・・・
I love tofu-food so I wanted to go there for a long time....

だけど、高いからいけなかったの・・・（涙）
But I couldn't because it's expensive!!!

でも、mimoが会社の関係者からの招待券をプレゼントされたから、一緒にいこうっていってくれてこのたびお昼から超贅沢できたんだ♪
Mimo was given a giftvoucher from someone from her company's affiliate so she invited me for lunch.
　

素敵な内装 The interior was beautiful

豆腐シュウマイが美味しかった～♪ Tofu dimsim was delicious

器も綺麗でツボ☆ I liked the design of the plates

ブルーベリーアイスクリーム Blueberry ice-cream

料理も美味しいし、くつろげるし、トークも盛り上がって結局2時間も居座ってしまった
（笑）
The food was great, we were able to relax and we talked heaps... so we ended up staying there for 2 hours!!!

神様ありがとう～そして私を誘ってくれたmimoありがとう！！！
Thank you God... and thank you mimo~ for inviting me!!!

ルームシェアをはじめてからmimoは3人目のルームメイトなんだけど、前の2人と同じく素敵な子で神様から与えられたと思っています☆
Mimo is my 3rd housemate since I started roomsharing, but she is such a wonderful girl just like my other sharemates in the past. I believe that it was God's plan place her in my apartment.

家族想いで、友達想いで、何よりも神様を愛していて、一緒に話していて飽きることはありません（笑）　信仰と考え方はとてもしっかりしているけど、びっくりするほど天然なところもあって・・・４つ年上とは思えません（ｗ　そこもまた彼女のチャームポイントだと思う。飽きることないよ！！！

She is very kind to her family and friends, she loves GOD and I never get tired of talking to her! She has a strong faith but she's soooo funny... I can't believe she is 4 years older than me..! Well that makes her even cuter! She makes me laugh all the time!!!

ブロガーの血が騒ぐのか、超嬉しそうなmimo...（笑） She loves taking photos too as a blogger...

PICNIC LIFEGROUP

このＧＷの最高の天気は神様からのプレゼントだねー♪
God has been blessing our Golden Week with great weather!!!

今日の東京も春・・・というか、むしろ夏！というぐらい暑かった～。
Today's temperature in tokyo was summer rather than spring... it was pretty hot!

今日は、ピクニック・ライフグループ。　ＧＷなので、外にでよう！ということで、ライフの子が住む、駒場東大前の公園で一品もちよりピクニックをしました☆
Today we had PICNIC LIFEGROUP!! We decided to do our lifegroup outdoor so we went to KOMABA TODAI MAE for PICNIC. Everyone brought one dish.

私がもっていったのは、昨日の夜から漬け込んで今朝作った、 「柔らか照り焼きチキン」　とってもお肉が柔らかくなる、お勧めのレシピです♪　
I made "CHICKEN TERIYAKI" (I prepared last night and made it this morning) I recommend this recipe to you... the chicken softens overnight!!!

 

駒場東大前の公園は・・・すっごくお勧め！！！　渋谷から京王線井の頭線でたった二駅なんだけど、都会を忘れるほど緑がたくさんで空気がきれいだった。
I recommend you the park in KOMABA TODAIMAE!!! IT's only two stops from SHIBUYA STATION (KEIO INOGASHIRA LINE) but there are so many greens here.

 

大自然☆ GREAT NATURE

 

じゃーん♪　炊き込みご飯、照り焼きチキン、グリーンサラダとポテトサラダ！みんな料理上手。どれも美味しかった～。大自然の中で食べるとより美味しいね！
We had rice with mixed ingredients, chicken teriyaki, green salad and potato salad. Every one is a good cook!! They were all delicous. Especially when you eat outdoor, it's always sooo good.

じゃーん！　Ｓが買って来てくれたＴＡＫＡＮＯのケーキだよ～～！！！　思わずみんなで、「きゃー！！！」と喜んだ。　ここのケーキ有名なんだよね。とっても高級・・・
WOW~ Look at this!! This is the cake (TAKANO) which S bought for us!!!We screamed because we got excited (LOL)

おもしろかったのが、このケーキを・・・ It was funny how we ate this cake...

 

スプーンをつかって、ホール食い！！！（笑）　自然の中でケーキをつっつくみんな（笑）
without cutting it... we ate it by using spoons...! Eating the cake in the park was so much fun!

しあわせ～・・・　上品な甘さで、食べやすくてあっという間に消えてしまった・・・
SOOOO HAPPY... it wasn't too sweet, and was really easy to eat.. and the cake disappeared within few seconds

その後は２つ目の公園にいきました。 Afterwards we went to the second park

とても和風な入り口・・・ A very Japanese-style entrance..

中に和風の家がありました！拝観料無料だよ～。
There was a Japanese style house inside... free entrance!

すっごくひろびろとしていたー。 It was spacious inside!

庭園もきれい・・・ The garden was beautiful too

この和風の建物のすぐそばにあったのが、文化財の洋館！！！！
There was a Western-style building right next to the Japanese style house

ここは現在放映されているドラマの撮影につかわれているらしいよ！！！それもそのはず・・
This place is used for drama location which is shown on TV now!!! I totally understand...

とっても立派！！！ Because it's so amazing!

中にはたくさん部屋があって迷いそうだった
There were so many rooms inside, it was always easy to get lost

とてもゴージャス・・・ So gorgeous!!!

とにかく、渋谷から２駅で、こんなに盛りだくさんな駒場東大前・・・　おすすめです！！！　毎日散歩したいぐらい気持ちがよかったーーー！！！　ピクニックライフグループも楽しかった♪
Anyway, I recommend this place because it's only 2 stations away from SHIBUYA!!! It would be great to walk around here everyday!!! I enjoyed picnic lifegroup too!

帰りはＳと渋谷のＴＯＷＥＲ ＲＥＣＯＲＤＳにいって、ＫＡＴのアルバムを先行予約したよ～。　ＴＯＷＥＲ ＲＥＣＯＲＤＳで予約すると、良いらしいので、ぜひぜひ、まだ予約していない人はタワレコへいこう！！！　
On the way back home S and I went to TOWER RECORDS in Shibuya and booked KAT'S album!!! If you haven't booked it yet, you should go to TOWER RECORDS and book it as soon as possible!!!

神さま、良い天気と、素晴らしい仲間との最高の時間をありがとう！

日光日帰り♪ Day trip to Nikko! PART2

前回の続きです！　Continued from last post

食後にむかった先は・・・　またフードのお店！（笑）
After we lunch we went to another food shop (LOL)

今度は、明治の館のケーキショップ☆　ここでは、おみやげを買いました。
We went to a cake shop called MEIJI NO YAKATA to buy souvenir.

おめあては、日光で一番有名なチーズケーキのニルバーナ！　小麦粉を一切使わずにデンマークのチーズで出来てるんだって♪　これもガイドブックやネットの口コミが凄かったから買ってみたかったんだ。
We went there to buy the most popular cheese cake in NIKKO, called NIL BANA. It's a cheesecake that contains no flour and it's made out of Denmark cheese. I wanted to try this because it was commended highly on the guidebook and on the net. 

 

クリーミーなのに、後味さっぱりで超おいしかったよ～～～☆
It was creamy but not too heavy and it was sooo delicious!!!

さあ、食べ物の話はここらへんで終わりにして・・・
Ok, I will stop talking about food now...

ケーキを買ったあとに、向かったのは中禅寺湖。　レンタカーでよかった！！！　おかげさまで、凄く素敵な景色がいっぱいみれました。
After we bought the cake, we went to CHUSENJI lake. It was so good that we rented a car!!! We were able to see great scenaries.

水が綺麗だったー The water was so clean!

滝もすごい迫力だった The falls was dynamic!

車で運転する人におすすめなのが　いろは坂を通ること・・・！！！　地図みてもわかるんだけど、これでもか・・・！ってぐらいに急カーブがたくさんあって、くねくねしているの。
I recommend to those who loves driving to drive past IROHA ZAKA.　You can see it on the map but there are so many curves and the whole road is crooked.

運転している人もハラハラするし、酔いそうなぐらいにカーブしまくり・・・。
You'll feel tense if you drive there and you will start feeling sick because of the curves.

４０クネ（勝手につくった単位）はあったね！　Yはこれで運転に自信がついたらしい（笑）
There were around 40 curves...! Y is confident now after driving that area!

そして、温泉がたくさんある湯元にむかいました。
And we went to YUMOTO where there are many hot springs. ONSEN.

これはなんでしょ～？　源泉があるところです。　でも・・・クサイの！！！　くさった卵のようなにおいがします・・・（笑）
This is where the source of the hot spring is... I tell you, it really smells!! It smells like rotten egg...

たくさん宿が並ぶなか、一軒選んで、ゆっくり温泉につかったー♪♪　やっぱり温泉っていいね！　誰もいなくて、ほとんど貸しきり状態だったよ。
We chose one of the inns and got in the hot spring!!! I loved it! No one was there so I had the whole bath for my own.

帰りは車で駅にむかって、帰りの電車までブラブラしようと思ったら・・
After that we returned to the station and we were planning to walk around until the time of our train but...

日光は１８時にほとんどのお店が閉まってしまう！！！　カフェまで・・・！！
Most of the shops in NIKKO close at 6pm...! Even cafes!

唯一空いているお店で、おそばを食べた。　それにしても・・・しまるの早すぎ～＞。＜　駅のキオスクまで１９時過ぎにしまっちゃうんだよ～。びっくり！
We had dinner at the shop that WAS open. We ate noodles... It's amazing how it closes quickly!!! Even the KIOSK closes before 7pm... I was shocked!

地元のおじちゃんの話だと、わたしたちが行った日は最高だったらしい。　久しぶりに良い天気で、連休ではなかったから、人がまだ少なくて、良いタイミングだったねっていわれた～。
According to the resident there, the day that we went to NIKKO was one of the best days. It was great weather and because it was before the long weekend, there weren't that many people.

朝５時おきで、帰り終電だったけど、電車の中で寝ることもなく（かなり眠い瞬間あったけど・・・）　ずっと楽しめた！
I woke up at 5am that day and went on the LAST TRAIN, but all the way through we had fun and we didn't sleep on the train. (I almost slept at one stage)

神様からのプレゼントでした♪♪　神様、ありがと～～～！！！！
This day-trip was a gift from GOD!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!

日光日帰り♪ Day trip to Nikko! PART1

月曜日はYと日帰りで日光にいってきました！すっごいよかったよ～☆　天気も最高だったし！！！　日帰りなのに、もりだくさんでかなりの満足度（＾＾）
On Monday I went to Nikko (day-trip) with Y. I had sooo much fun! The weather was beautiful too. Although it was a day trip, we got to do so many things!!!

７：４５am 浅草駅　集合　８：１０amの快速　日光行きに乗る
Met at Asakusa Station 7:45am Went on the Rapid to Nikko train at 8:10am

色々調べたところ、一番安かったのが、東武の鬼怒川・日光フリー切符。３日間、鬼怒川と日光を好きなだけまわって、浅草駅発でたったの４５００円！
We did some research and the cheapest one was TOBU's "KINUGAWA & NIKKO FREE TICKET." With this ticket you can travel around Kinugawa and Nikko for 3 days by only paying 4500yen! (The train departs from Asakusa station)

しかも、特急に乗らなくても、一時間に一本の快速にのれば、２時間２０分でいける。（特急だと２時間）
If you just go on the RAPID instead of paying extra money for EXPRESS, you can go to Nikko in 2hours 20 mins. (Express to Nikko will take 2hours)

１０時半に日光駅着。　東武できたのに、なぜかJRの駅で写真をとる（笑）
Arrived at Nikko Station 10:30am. Although we used the TOBU train, I took this photo infront of JR station (LOL)

Yが免許をもっていたので、レンタカーでまわることに☆
Y had a driver's license so we rent a car. 　

私たちが最初にむかった先は・・・・ The first place that we went were...

なぜかひしやという　羊羹のお店・・・！（笑）　何故日光についていきなりここにいくかというと、ネットとかガイドブックの口コミで
YOKAN (red bean jelly) SHOP called HISHIYA. I'm sure you are wondering why we went there first...it's because I saw it on the net that this shop was...

・日光で最も人気が高い
・９時に開店して１時間で売り切ってしまう日もあるらしい
・取り寄せ不可
・予約もできない
・多客期は１人につき１本まで

・One of the most popular shops in Nikko
・It opens from 9am but sometimes closes within 1 hour because it sells out
・You can't get it delivered
・You cannot order it
・During some seasons, you can only buy one each

と書いてあったので、そこまで人気なら買ってみたい！！ということで、２本購入。
We wanted to see how good it is so we bought 2 of them.

のちにこの選択は大正解だったことがわかる。だって・・・１２時過ぎに再びこのお店の前に通ったら、
And this was a good decision because when we walked passed this shop after 12pm...

しまってるーーーー！！！完売。
IT WAS CLOSED!!! SOLD OUT.

ちょっとうれしいかも・・・（笑） We felt good seeing this...

羊羹をゲットし、その後むかったのは、やっぱり東照宮。
After we bought the YOKAN, we went to TOSHOGU.

良い天気だったー♪ It was a great weather!

 

クリスチャンなので、偶像はおがまないけど、芸術としてみると凄いと思う。
We don't worship the idols because we are Christians but if we look at these as artworks, they're pretty amazing.

この日のヒットは、建物の中に入った時に集団で説明をうけたんだけど、案内人が鐘みたいなものをたたいていて、
The funniest thing during this day was that we were listening to the guide's instruction, He was ringing the bell-like instrument and said,

「天井をみてみると、より音が響いて聞こえます。上をみてください。」といって、楽器の音を再びならして、静かな空間で鳴り響くその音をじっくり聞いていたんだ。そしたら、突然そこにいた　ちびっこが、
"Please look at the ceiling. You can hear the echoe clearly." And he rang the instrument again. We were all listening to the sound echoing and we were all quiet. But then the little boy in the crowd said...

「もう、ちょっと～　うるさいよぅ！」 "Gosh~ You are so noisy!"

と、おもいっきり怒っている声が聞こえて、周りが一瞬大爆笑・・・。案内人はポーカーフェイスでした。　私とYも笑いのツボに・・・。子供って恐ろしい・・・（笑）
He sounded really annoyed and the crowd laughed. The guide didn't even move his eyebrows!!! We laughed too... Kids are scary!

そして、これね・・・　これみた途端わたしが And this... when I saw this I said,

「眠り姫だ～」っていってしまったのね・・・そしたら、すかさず
"Hey, this is SLEEPING BEAUTY!" and then Y corrected me saying,

「いや、猫だから！」　って思い切り訂正された・・・　何で姫っていっちゃったんだろう・・。
"No, it says, it's a sleeping CAT."  I don't know why I said sleeping beauty...

写真をとっている人が、　「猫ちっちゃ！！！」っていっているのが面白かった。

とにかく空気が綺麗だったよ～。 Anyway the air was fresh...!

そして、お昼は・・・これもネットで調べた場所に行きました。
And for lunch, we went to the place that we looked up on the net.　

「さんフィールド」　ここの　ゆばご膳が美味しくて、値段も１６００円。　普段よりうんと高めだけど、他の店のゆば料理は最低２倍はするから、とっても良心的なプライスでした。
"Sun Field" The YUBA (dried bean curd meal) was delicious! The price was 1600yen. This is expensive for a normal lunch but YUBA meal in other shops costs more than double this price so it was reasonable!

これでもか！というぐらい、ゆばが出てきたよ～。　ゆばの煮物、ゆばのおから、ゆばの酢の物、ゆば揚げ、ゆば唐辛子、ゆばコーヒーゼリー　etc...　ご飯のおかわり自由なんだけど、かなり満腹になるので一膳で充分。
It contained so many YUBA dishes!!! boiled YUBA, sour YUBA, fried YUBA, YUBA chilli with rice, YUBA coffee jelly... you can ask for more rice for free but we got full enough!

大満足でした♪♪　I was satisfied...!

ここで、またおかしいことが・・・　隣のグループにいたおばちゃんの一人が、大声で
Something funny happened again... One of the middle aged woman sitting next to us said in a big voice,

「これ・・・ゆば　ばっかりじゃん！」って・・・ "HEY, there's sooo much YUBA in this meal!"

おばちゃん・・・ゆばご膳ですよ？（笑）何を他に期待してたんだろう・・・
But it says this is YUBA MEAL SET...　I wonder what else she was expecting...　

そして、今回の旅は時間との戦い。レンタカーは７時まで返却しなければいけなかったから・・・
We had to look out for time because we had to return the rental car by 7pm.

というわけで、いつもなら食後１時間近くはまったりしてしまう私たちだけど、食後５分でたちあがって、店員のおばちゃんも「はやっ！！！」みたいな顔をしてました（笑）
So usually we sit down after meal around 1hour, but this time we stood up after 5 minutes and the waitress looked shocked..! (because we were so quick!)

昨日のライフグループは、チャーチの友達ＫＡＴの演奏を聴きにROCK FACTORY(六本木）にいきました♪♪

今までキリンやピーチジョーンズのCMでＫＡＴの曲を聴いたことがある人もいるかもしれない・・・最近有線のリクエストランキングにも上位にのっているらしいよ～。凄い！
If you've watched Kirin or PeachJones's CM, you might have listend to Kat's song before. Currently her song was on the top list of most frequently requested songs in the cable radio broadcast. 

そんなＫＡＴは、ニュージーランド人と日本人のハーフで完璧なバイリンガル☆　曲もバイリンガルで、　「なごり雪」のＫＡＴバージョンはかなりツボにはまる♪♪
Kat is half New Zealander and Half Japanese. She sings most of her songs in bilingual and I like "NAGORIYUKI" in Kat's version. 　

最近ますます多忙なスケジュールなのに、毎週チャーチにきていて、素敵な笑顔で話してくれるんだ☆　外見もとっても綺麗だけど、心も凄く謙虚で美しい。神様が大好きで、神様から与えられた音楽のギフトを生かしているＫＡＴの大ファンです（＾＾）
Even she is getting busier these days, she comes to church every week and talks to me with a beautiful smile! She is really beautiful on the outward appearance, but she also has a beautiful humble heart. I'm her big fan because she loves God and she is using her musical talent that God gave her. 

昨日は、そんなＫＡＴの演奏を間近で聴けて大感激だった。ＬＧの子で、友達を誘ったんだけど、友達もすっごく喜んでたよ～！　イースターにも、日曜の礼拝にもきてくれた、私の小学校時代の同級生のますみんも楽しめたみたいで嬉しかった。
It was so exciting to listen to Kat's performance last night. We invited our friends and they had a really great time too. Masumi, my friend from my primary school (who came to Easter service and sunday service) really enjoyed the night too, so I was happy!

うちのチャーチの凄いところは、凄いミュージシャンたちがたくさんいるところ。チャーチの外でも活動をしていて、チャーチの時とはまた違うんだけど、とっても光り輝いている。
What's amazing about my church is that we have great Musicians. They perform outside church as well, and it's quite different from church, but they are still all shining!

生演奏を聴くと、音楽っていいなっていつも思うんだ。
When I listen to live "raw" performance, I always realise the power of music!

国をこえて、文化をこえて、性別をこえて、バックグラウンドをこえて、「一体感」を生み出すことができる。メッセージ性を歌詞にこめて、言葉で話すより、響くメッセージが伝えられる。
Through music we get to share this feeling of "ONENESS", regardless of country, culture, gender and any background. Sometimes listening to the lyrics through the music is much more powerful than spoken words.

ＫＡＴの「ＨＯＭＥ」という曲は「この世の中には傷ついている人たちだらけだけど、その人たちが戻れるＨＯＭＥが必ずある」という意味をこめて作ったんだって。とても暖かくて、やさしい歌。
Kat's song, "HOME" is about "People with broken-hearts. They exist everywhere... but everyone has a HOME that they belong." It's a really heart-warming, gentle song.

私の「ＨＯＭＥ」はどこだろう・・・って考えたら...
I was thinking "where's my HOME?" 

やっぱり、私のＨＯＭＥは神様がいる場所だ☆
My HOME is where God is.　

神様、この世に音楽をつくってくれてありがとう！もっとこの世の中に人を勇気付ける、励ます・癒す音楽が増えますように・・・♪
Thank you God that you created music! I pray that we will have more music in this world that will encourage, heal and lift people up!

イチゴ狩り Strawberry picking

土曜日は、久々に一日フリーだったので、イチゴ狩りデートしました♪♪
I had a whole day off on saturday (didn't have that for ages) so we did strawberry picking ;)

ずっとイチゴ狩りにいきたいってさわいでいたの（笑）　だって、オーストラリアのイチゴよりも日本のイチゴのほうが甘くておいしいんだもん☆　それを食べ放題だなんて、夢のよう・・・。
I was saying all the time that I wanted to go to strawberry picking. Strawberries in Japan are sweeter and more delicious that Australian ones! And I can eat as much as I want... it's too good to be true! (LOL)

行った場所は津久井浜（京急線）。　
The place that we went was TSUKUIHAMA (KEIKYU LINE)

まず空腹に甘いものをすぐに食べられない私たちは、案内所でお弁当を食べることに。そうしたら、受付のおじさんに
Because we can't eat sweet food with an empty stomach we decided to eat lunch first at the resting place. Then the man at the reception said

「イチゴ狩りにきたのに、最初にご飯を食べるなんてだめだめ！！」
"Don't eat your LUNCH before strawberries!!!"

といわれたけど、やはりイチゴはデザートで食べたい・・・。と思ってさからった（笑）
But we wanted to eat strawberries for dessert so we didn't listen to him (LOL)

私がつくった♪・・・といいたいところだけど、実は彼がサプライズで作ってくれました☆　最高に美味しかった！
I wish I could say that I made it but my bf made it for me as a surprise! It was so delicious!

おなかいっぱいになった後、受付で1100円払って（正確に言うとYに払ってもらった♪）指定されたビニールハウスまで歩いた。
After we became full, we paid (actually Y paid for me☆) 1100yen and walked to the designated plastic greenhouse.

ハウスの入り口で、おばちゃんから練乳が入ったケースを渡されて、30分の時間制限でイチゴ食べ放題スタート！
At the entrance of the greenhouse, the woman at the reception gave us a case with condense milk in it. And after that, we were able to enjoy "ALL YOU CAN EAT STRAWBERRIES" (time limit 30 min)

目の前にあるイチゴをひたすら食べていくんだけど・・・
We just ate and ate strawberries...

甘～～～い！！！　コンデンスミルクなんていらなーい！
It's sooo sweet! You don't need condense milk!

夢中で食べ続けていたら・・・　52個食べちゃいました。Yは70個・・・。　いや、小粒だし、美味しいし、意外に軽いよ！？　そこで働いているおじさんいわく、100個ぐらい食べちゃう人もいるらしい。
We were so IN to eating.... I realised that I ate 52 strawberries... Y ate 70!!! Well, the size was small.. you know, and it was delicious, plus strawberries are not heavy right? According to the man who works there some people eat around 100 strawberries!

ただ、イチゴ狩りにベストな時期は寒い1月かも。ビニールハウスの中、結構暑い！
But perhaps the best timing to go to strawberry picking is around January. It was quite hot inside the green plastichouse!

でも、ちょーーーー楽しかったよ！　神様、楽しい時間をありがとう☆★　
Anyway it was soooo much fun!!!! Thankyou God, for a great time!

理由は、ちょっと今ゆっくりネットの前に座っている時間がないことと、風邪っぽいので、体を休ませます。
The reason is because I don't have much time to spend on net and I'm feeling a bit sick so I'm going to have more rest.

今はブログを書くかわりに、神様とのゆっくりした時間を過ごすので、充電するね♪♪
I will spend more time with God and "recharge" myself!

This is an important "break" for me, so although I want to post entries, I will have a rest for now.

SWEETS PARADISE☆

やっとこのネタがＵＰできるー！　
Finally I can update this...!

この前のmimoとの錦糸町スイーツパラダイス（ケーキバイキング）デート♪♪
Few weeks ago, I went to Sweets Paradise in Kinshicho (Buffet) with Mimo.

ずっとＵＰしたかったんだけど、タイミング逃しちゃって・・・mimoちゃんに先こされちゃった（笑） →mimoの記事
I was going to update this entry ages ago but missed the chance. mimo beat me!

mimoとIzumiの初デートにもかかわらず・・・食べて話して、話しまくって７時間以上話続けた！！　すごいかも・・・（笑）
It was the first time that I hanged out with mimo. We ate, talked on and on and on... for 7 hours!!! Crazy, hey?

お店の中　inside the bufftet place

mimoは、もともと私のブログの読者。　去年、チャーチの中で話しかけられたのが出会いだったんだけど、mixiやブログを通して仲良くなった。なんか・・・同じ匂いが凄いするから、ずっと気になっていて、デートに誘いました。
Mimo has been reading my blog for a while. My first encounter with her was at church, when she introduced herself to me. Then we've been reading each other's blogs and communicating on mixi and became friends. I can relate to her so much so I wanted to to hang out with her and get to know her better. So I asked her out! (LOL)

どこが似ているかとか、mimoと過ごした時間の中で感じたことは、後半に書くね！
I will write at the end of this entry the similarities between us and what I felt after spending time with her!

まずは、週末おすすめスポットとして、錦糸町丸井の中のスイーツパラダイスを紹介！　穴場だから是非是非いってみて～。
First of all please check out Sweets Paradise in Kinshicho. It's a great place, I recommend you to go! 

何が素晴らしいかというと、デザートの種類の豊富さ！ケーキ、ムース、プリン系、ソフトクリーム... What's amazing is the variety of desserts! There have cakes, mousse, puddings, soft serves..

そして私たちが一番大好きな和風スイーツが食べ放題！mimoと目が輝いたよ！（笑）　And they had Japanese sweets which we both LOVE!!

また軽食もあって、ベーグル、ちらし寿司、パスタ、スープもあって、サラダ食べ放題！　 Plus, they had light meals too; Bagel, chirashi-sushi, pasta, soup and salad!

mimoがとったサラダ～　サラダ大好き！　mimo's salad plate! We loooove salad!

 

コーヒー、紅茶、ソフトドリンクも飲み放題。 Plus you can drink coffee, tea, softdrinks... plenty!

いっぱい食べたら夕飯いらないよ！　You don't have to eat dinner... because you get too full!

通常は、90分　1480円だけど、、ランチタイムで70分　1280円。　100円引きのクーポンを使えば安くなるよ☆（うちらお互いに忘れた・・・）
It's usually 1480 yen for 90minutes, 1280 yen for 70minute during lunch time. If you print out this coupon, you will get 100 yen discount (which we forgot to use..)

90分もあればたっぷりかな？って思ったら、私たち話に夢中になりすぎていて、最後の方にあせって、早食い選手権になったよ（笑） I thought 90minutes will be enough, but because we were too busy talking, we had to stuff all of our food in our stomach... we ran out of time!

それにしても、前から似てるとは思ってたけど共通点を間近でみて、笑ってしまったよ（笑）その共通点とは・・・　Anyway, it was so interesting to find so many similarities between mimo and myself.  Those similarities are....

へるし～なしゃぶしゃぶ食べ放題☆

久々のお勧めグルメスポットです♪♪Today I'm gonna recommend you another place that will satisfy your stomach!

数週間前に生まれてはじめて　「しゃぶしゃぶ食べ放題！」にいってきました。新宿にあるモーパラ鍋ぞう。 Last time I went to "all you can eat SHABU-SHABU" for the first time in my life. It's "MO-MO PARADISE NABEZO" in Shinjyuku.

オージーの友達や男の子はね、 「薄い肉なんて、肉じゃねえええ」っていって、焼肉派が多いんだけど、しゃぶしゃぶはヘルシーだし、野菜がたっぷり食べられるし、お肉がたくさん食べられない私にも凄くよかった。 Many Aussies and boys say "Thin sliced meat is not REAL MEAT!" and prefer YAKINIKU but SHABU-SHABU is healthy and you can eat so much veggies, so it's good for your body. I'm not a big meat eater so it was great.

今回は１，８９０円プランで、豚肉と牛肉（オージービーフ）と野菜食べ放題☆ It was 1,890 yen with all you can eat Aussie beef, pork and vegetables.

これが牛肉。　結構ボリュームあるよ。 This is Aussie beef... this quite filling

熱い鍋に入れると・・・ When you put the meat in the hot pot,

すぐ食べられます！　たれはポン酢とゴマダレ両方。　ご飯は＋180円でつくよ。 it will be ready in few seconds. You can dip it in sour soysauce or sesame sauce.

でも、何よりも嬉しかったのが・・・野菜！！！！ I was really impressed with the amount of veggies!

すごい種類が豊富だった・・・！！！　野菜大好きの私には、すっごくお得！ There were so many varieties! It's reasonable since I LOVE VEGGIES!

お肉よりも野菜をたくさん食べてしまう私でした・・・（笑）　I ate more VEGGIES than meat...

「しゃぶしゃぶなんて・・・」と思っているあなた（特にオージー！！）ぜひぜひいってみてください♪♪　美味しいよ～。

If you are thinking "Shabu-shabu is not my thing" (especially if you are Aussie!) please try at least once! It's quite delicious!

新宿ルミネにある　ブラッセリーバーバラ・ア・ターブルです♪　

ガレット（フランスのクレープ）がオススメ！

Today I am going to introduce you the great place to have lunch!

It's "Brasserire Barbara a table" in Shinjyuku. I recommend you to try galette. (French crepe)

日本にきて、社会人になって、良いな～って思うことは、美味しいランチが手軽な値段で食べられるということ。

One thing I like living and working in Japan is that you can have good lunch in reasonable price.

夜は値段が高い店でも、お昼だとランチコースでメイン＋サラダ＋ドリンクがついて１０００円前後。　おまけに美味しい・・・。

Even restaurants that charge you high price for dinner have lunch courses which only costs just around 1000 yen (includes main, salad, drink) And they taste great!

Barbaraは私のチャーチの妹ちゃんといきました♪♪　

I went to this restaurant with my sister (in christ!)

ここでランチコースをたのむと・・・なんとパンが食べ放題！！！　これはすごい！！

When you have lunch course here, you can eat as many bread as you want!!! Isn't it amazing?　

本格的で美味しいパンです。　ドライトマト入りとクルミ入りがお気に入り♪　

It tastes like REAL bread!!! I loved the one with sundried tomatoes and walnuts.

私は、アボカドのサラダ風ガレット。　妹ちゃんはスクランブルエッグガレット。　両方とも美味しかった～＾＾

I had AVOCADO SALAD Galette. My sister had scramble eggs galette. They were both yummy~

生地はとても薄いから、ペロリとはいっちゃった。

It was crispy and thin. I ate it in a second.

My sister ate Green tea cake.

１１時半にいったので、とっても空いていて落ち着いてはなすことができた。　出る頃には満員だったよ！！！

We went there around 11:30am so there weren't many people and the atmosphere was great!!! But by the time we left the place was packed.

鎌倉紅葉デート☆

お待たせいたしました！！

昨日は雨だったけど、ＧＯＤが最高の誕生日をプレゼントしてくれました♪♪　２４歳のスタートも最高に幸せだった！！！！　メッセージやメールくれた皆、本当にありがとう。すごく嬉しかったよ！

It rained yesterday, but GOD blessed me by giving  WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY!!!! I'm a happy 24yrs old now! Thank you for all of you who sent me messages and emails. You all made my day!

では、ずっと前に紅葉を見に、 鎌倉にいってきた時のレポートを載せたいと思います！

Today I will write about KAMAKURA sight seeing. A beautiful place in Japan where you can see the autumn leaves.

残念ながら、１１月後半にいったにもかかわらず、紅葉はまだまだだったようで・・・食べに走ってしまいました（笑）　どちらかというとグルメレポです（笑）

Unfortunatelly, the leaves were still green... so I ended up eating most of the time...

Oasis Book Store/WIRED CAFE in Shinjyuku

今回のオススメスポットは新宿にあるクリスチャンブックセンターとくつろげる美味しいカフェ！

昨日は仕事帰りに、この前クリスチャンになったばかりのmixi友達の聖書を買いにチャーチフレンドのNと３人でオアシス・クリスチャンブックセンターにいった。

Yesterday after work, I went to Shinjyuku Oasis Christian bookstore to help my new friend (from mixi) to buy her first Bible! My church friend N came along too!

オアシスは新宿南口からすぐのクリスチャンの書籍・CDが売っている店です♪　都内では、御茶ノ水クリスチャンセンターか新宿オアシス、もしくは銀座にある教文館で買えます。

Oasis book store is a Christian store where you can buy Christian books and CDs. (micro version of Koorong, Australia)  located near Shinjyuku South Exit. In Tokyo, Ochanomizu Christian Centre bookstore, Oasis Shinjyuku and Kyoubunkan in Ginza are the 3 major Christian Bookstores. 

選ぶのにめっちゃ時間かかった・・・！　色々な訳があったり、バイリンガル聖書もあったり・・・で迷う迷う！　

Took heaps of time for us to select the Bible! There are so many translation and Biligual Bible as well... Too hard to choose!

最終的にYが納得したのは、ニューリビングのバイリンガルバージョン！英語と日本語で書いてあるんだ。ニューリビング訳は一番くだけた訳なんだけど、Yは聖書とかあまり読んだことないし、分かりやすいのからスタートするのが一番ということで、これに決定した☆　英語もできるから、両方でみるとよりわかりやすいよね♪　新約聖書しかのっていないのが残念だけど、新約からはじめるのが良いから、旧約つきはあとで買うということに。新しい聖書を手にもったYの顔は輝いていた。凄く嬉しくなった！

Y bought New Living Bilingual Bible (English and Japanese). New living translation is the most casual translation but it will be great for Y because she hasn't read the Bible much before so it will be easier for her to understand. (Japanese traditional Translations can sound way complicated than English...) It's a pity that the old testament wasn't included in this Bible, but Y said she will read the New Testament first and then buy another Bible with the Old testament.

 

可愛い絵本もたくさんある！　There are so many cute childrens books

 

カードも豊富だよ！　And many cards

今日は週末お勧めおでかけスポットを紹介します・・・！

渋谷にあるケーキバイキングです♪　

Today I'm going to introduce a place to go for this weekend... It's DESSERT BUFFET in Shibuya!

ちなみに、生まれてはじめてでした！　実は甘い物は昔そんなに得意じゃなくて、ケーキバイキングなんて無縁・・・って思ってたんだけど、ＵＮＩＴＥＤのセットアップには力仕事があるからカロリーとっても、気持ちよく消化できるのでは！？？？　と思って、行くこと決定。新しいこと大好きだし。　その写真つきレポをのせます。

By the way, this was my first time going to a dessert buffet. I didn't like sweets before, but it was before the United set up and I thought "I will burn off these calories anyway!" I love to try out new things. So today I will show you the place (with photos)

今まで川崎というと、買い物スポットがなくて、工場、パチンコ、風俗店が多くて、あまり良いイメージではなかったけど、最近はチネチッタができたり、色々改造されていて綺麗になっていたところ・・・　LAZONAの登場！　川崎市民の皆様にとっては凄い嬉しいことだと思います♪　私の祖父母の家が川崎にあるから、私も嬉しい！

川崎駅の改札を出てコンコースを西口へ向かうと、ラゾーナへ直結。
