MOVIES and COOKING!

通訳学校がはじまりました！！
The new semester of my interpreting course has started!!!

今回は14人クラスで、ベテランの人が多いです・・・　今のレベルの壁は厚いらしく、リピーターが多いんだ・・・
I'm in a large class now (14 people) and so many experienced people... I heard that it's really difficult to pass this level and so many people have repeated.

当然レベルも上がれば、宿題・予習・復習も増える！！！
And ofcourse the higher level you are in, the more homework, revision and preparation are required!!!

でも、そんな私もリラックスタイムが必要です（＾＾）
But I want to balance my life, so I make time just to chill out and relax.

私の贅沢な時間の過ごし方は・・・お気に入りのカフェやレストランで食事したり、映画をみたり、お菓子づくり☆　今日はいくつか紹介するね♪
I spoil myself by....eating at this nice cafe or restaurant that I like, watch movies and bake desserts. I will show you some today.

①　映画 MOVIES

最近2本映画をみました～。両方ともすっごくよかった！
Recently I watched 2 movies. They were both good!!!

「しあわせのレシピ」"No reservations"

ニューヨークの人気レストランで料理長を務めるケイトは完全主義者。仕事に対する情熱は人一倍。厨房では料理人たちを取り仕切り、目が回るような忙しさの中、正確に、完璧に、すべての料理を仕上げていく。積み重ねてきたキャリア、努力して手に入れた自信と賞賛、やりがいのある仕事、築き上げた自分の居場所。でも、気付かない幸せは、自分が決めたレールの外にあるのかもしれない…。予期せぬ出来事から“完璧な厨房”の外へと踏み出すことになったケイトが見つけた新しい自分とは…。(goo映画サイト）

A top notch female chef's life is turned upside-down when she must care of her niece after her sister is killed. She now has to adapt to a different lifestyle and uses food as a means to express her roller-coaster life. (Yahoo! movies)

見終わった後、しあわせな気持ちになれる映画です♪♪　まだ映画を観ていない人がいると思うので、詳しくはかけないけど・・・とにかく大好きな人（特に家族）と料理を一緒にして、一緒に食べることって大事だな～と思いました☆　キャサリン・ゼタジョーンズは相変わらず綺麗だけど、今までの役と違ってとってもキュートで、どこにでもいるキャリアウーマン風。
I thought this is a movie which makes you feel happy after watching it. I can't write in details as some of you haven't watched it yet... but I realized the significance of cooking together and eating together with someone you love (especially your family) Catherine was so beautiful as usual... but Kate (who Catherine played as) is someone who many women can relate to. She was just a normal women pursuing her career.

演出もいいな～と思ったら、監督は『シャイン』をとった方だそうです。ゾーイ役のアビゲイル・ブレスリンという女の子は今注目されている天才子役なんだって！演技がうまくて可愛かった♪
The director is the same person as "SHINE"... no wonder it was so good!! And Abigail is one of the most talented young actress! She was good at acting and so cute!

お次は　HERO!
The next movie I saw was HERO

2001年にフジテレビ系で放送された木村拓哉主演の大ヒットドラマ、「HERO」が映画になって帰って来た。中卒、革ジャンという型破りな検事・久利生公平が、ドラマと変わらない情熱で、事件の真相を追究していく。今回は、かつてない試練で苦悩する久利生に、新たな感動が生まれる。ドラマより更にスケールアップし、映画ならではの迫力で、出世や保身ばかり気にする地検や裁判所と真っ向闘う久利生は、ドラマよりずっとカッコいいかも。男女問わず、久利生に惚れ直してしまうこと間違いなし。木村拓哉、松たか子ら、お馴染みのメンバーの他、イ・ビョンホンら、大物スターの共演にも注目。監督は、ドラマ「HERO」を手がけた鈴木雅之。(goo映画サイト）

公開前からず～～～～っと気になってました（笑）映画化される前のドラマもみてたしね！ルームメイトのMIMOも気になっていたらしいので、二人で地元の映画館でみてきちゃいました！
I wanted to see this movie for a long time!! I used to watch the drama series before it became a movie. MIMO my housemate wanted to watch this too so we went to the cinemas near our place.

これもネタバレになるので、詳しくはかけないけど・・・
I can't give you much information here as well but I will mention few things.

こちらも期待を裏切らない面白さでした☆　キャラクターひとりひとりがいい味だしてる！久々にスクリーンでHEROのチームのみんなをみて、嬉しくなりました♪
This was so good as well, just as I expected. All the actresses and actors were unique.I was happy to see all of them on screen again!

MIMOのブログにも彼女なりの感想がのっているけど、私も心に残ったことをのせます。

「チームワークの素晴らしさ」と「決してあきらめない力」が心に残りました。
What really touched me was "The greatness of TEAMWORK" and "the strength of not giving up attitude."

事件を解決するにも、一人では限界がある・・・。HEROに出てくる皆はチームになって、仲間のために協力する。チームは最強の力を生み出すと思った・・・。
We can't do everything on our own, especially if you are handling a case. In the movie HERO, everyone helps each other as a team. It shows us how effective we can be if we support each other as a TEAM.

それから、絶対にあきらめない力。
Also, the power of not giving up!!!

主人公は何があっても最後まで諦めない。周りの人が「もう無理だよ」といっても絶対に投げ出さない。諦めないから、最終的に応えが見つかる。
The main character never gives up in any situation. Even those around him says, "It's impossible", he never gives up. And because he never gives up, he finds the answer. 

「それって、ドラマや映画の話だからうまくいくんだよ～」と思う人もいるかもしれない。だけど、私が尊敬しているクリスチャンの女性、ジョイス・マイヤーは自分のミニストリーの成功についてこう語っていた。
Some people may say, "Well that's just drama/movie!" but Joyce Meyer, the Christian woman who I respect once said this about her success in her ministry.

「よく、どうしたらそこまで成功できますか？と聞かれるんだけど、いつもこう答えるの。諦めよう、止めようと思った時にやめなかっただけなの。」
" So many people as me, "How did you succeed in your ministry?" and I answer this. "I just didn't give up when I felt like it."

私も自分が信じるもの、目標に向かってあきらめない！
I am not going to give up what I believe in and my dreams as well!!!

(Galatians 6:9) Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
(ガラテヤ 6:9) 善を行なうのに飽いてはいけません。失望せずにいれば、時期が来て、刈り取ることになります。

②　お菓子作り　Baking desserts

思いつきで、アップルマフィンを作りました～♪　結構好評だったよ！
I made apple muffins out of the blue~! People told me that it tasted good!

レシピはcookpadから頂きました！　お菓子をつくってると幸せな気持ちになります！
I found this recipe in cookpad! I feel really happy when I bake desserts.

というわけで、これからも勉強忙しくなると思うけど、うまく時間を活用していきます♪
So I'm going to be busier as I have to study more, but I will use my time wisely!

MOVIE SATURDAY

今週末もかなり充実しました♪♪
This weekend was awesome too!!!

ずっと見たかった映画「レミーの美味しいレストラン」をみたよ～。
I saw the movie, "RATATOUILLE" I really wanted to see this!

ネタばれになるので、詳しくはかけませんが、大変おすすめなのでみにいってください☆　たくさん笑えて、料理も美味しそうで、風景もきれいで、誰でも楽しめる映画になってます。
I can't write in details because I'm sure not all of you have seen this, but I really recommend this to you. You will laugh alot and the food looks delicious, the scenaries are beautiful and it's kind of a movie everyone can enjoy.

日本だと映画館で大声で笑っている人って結構いないんだよね・・・　大声にならないように笑ってたら涙がでちゃった（笑）
I don't see too many people laughing loud in cinemas in Japan... I tried not to laugh too loud and then tears came out of my eyes.

そして・・・映画の前に4年ぶりに高校時代に仲が良かった子とランチをしたの。
And before the movie, I saw my friend who used to be my good friend during highschool. I haven't seen her for 4 years!

"HATERUMA" in LAZONA Kawasaki. Okinawa dishes are healthy and filling!

私が頼んだのは、レディースセット。　ゴーヤーチャンプルーやソーキ蕎麦付きでお得でした。
I ordered the "lady's set." It was good price for all the dishes, including "GOYAN CHAMPURU" (stir-fried GOYA) and SOKI-SOBA.

4年ぶりとはいえ、まったく違和感がなかったのには驚いた！もう私のことを知り尽くしているので、一緒にいて心地よかったよ。
I was surprised how I felt comfortable even I haven't seen her for 4 years. She knows me too well!

最近不思議なのは、そういう「ひさしぶり」の人から突然メールがきたり、「会いたい」といわれること。
Recently, it's quite surprising how so many people who I know from the past suddenly contact me or say they want to see me.

きっと・・・神様の計画だね（＾＾）
It must be God's plan (^^)

幸せのちから Pursuit of happyness

最近みた映画　「幸せのちから」　
Recently I watched, "Pursuit of Happyness"

解説: ホームレスから億万長者となり、アメリカンドリームを実現させた実在の人物、クリス・ガードナーの半生を基に描いた感動作。『メン・イン・ブラック』のウィル・スミスが人生の最も困難な時期を愛する息子とともに切り抜けた主人公を熱演。彼の実の息子が息子役を演じているのも見逃せない。監督はイタリア映画界の俊英ガブリエレ・ムッチーノ。単なるサクセスストーリーではなく、父子愛のドラマとして描き上げた監督の手腕に注目だ。（ＹＡＨＯＯ！映画より）

STORYLINE: Chris Gardner is a bright and talented, but marginally employed salesman. Struggling to make ends meet, Gardner finds himself and his five-year-old son evicted from their San Francisco apartment with nowhere to go. この映画をみようと思った理由は The reason I chose to watch this was...

☆　実話に基づいたサクセスストーリーだから It's based on true story.

☆　息子役のジェイデンくんが実際にウィル・スミスの子供だから＾＾　コネではなく、オーディションで合格したんだって。 Jaden and Will Smith are actually father and son in real life. Jaden actually passed the audition to get the role.

実は、観にいく前に、結構厳しいレビューが他の人のブログに書かれていたから、あまり期待しすぎないで、みにいったんだ。 Before I went to see this I read many critical reviews about this film... so I didn't expect that much.
