カンファレンス最高だった！ Best Conference Ever!!!!

東京から帰ってきたよ♪
We're back from Tokyo...

ジーザスライフハウスカンファレンス２００９は言葉通りに・・・・
Jesus Lifehouse Conference 2009 was...

すべての面でネクストレベルだった！！！　
NEXT LEVEL in every way!

ワーシップ、メディア、パフォーマンス・・・クリエイティブ面でも凄かった・・・。
Worship, Media, Performance... they were soooo creative!　

クリスチャンではない人たちが2日間の間に400人以上きて、その中で40人がイエスを受け入れる決断をしたこと！！！
More than 400 non-Christians came and 40 of them received Jesus!!!

神様は確実に日本で動いてる！
God is definitely moving in Japan!!!　

今回、一番感動したのは、やっぱり230人以上の最高のボランティア達！
What really touched me was seeing our volunteers. More than 230 people volunteered.

東京のジーザスライフハウス、大阪のジーザスライフハウスと他のチャーチから手伝ってくれた人たちもいた☆
People from Tokyo Jesus Lifehouse, Osaka Jesus Lifehouse and other churches got together.

早朝のボランティアラリーでもみんな興奮していて、テンション高かった！（笑）
Everyone was pumped from the morning Volunteers Rally!

教会にとって一番の資産は「人々」だってスティーブ牧師もいってたけど、本当にそうだと思う。
Pastor Steve said the best asset of the church is PEOPLE. And I believe that is sooo true!

ジーザスライフハウスの人々は本当にそれぞれ得意分野をもっていて個性豊か。そんなみんなが一致して仕える姿が凄かった。　
Jesus Lifehouse people are all gifted and unique. So them getting together and serving for one purpose were so powerful.

特に裏方のボランンティア達は本当にすばらしかった！
I want to give credits for the behind-the-scenes volunteers

セキュリティチーム Security team

メディカルチーム Medical Team

バックステージチーム Back Stage Team

いつもスタンバイしていないといけないため、セッションもほとんど参加できないんだけど、彼らはいつも笑顔で万全のサポートをしてくれていた。
They missed out most of the sessions because they had to do their roles but they were always smiling and supported us so much.

本当にありがとう！　みんな最高だよ！
Thank you everyone! You guys are AWESOME!

また今回のカンファレンスがネクストレベルだったのは、
Another thing that was NEXT LEVEL was that

一人ひとりが本気でアウトリーチをしていたこと。
everyone participating in outreach!

数ヶ月前から、渋谷とか街で出会った人たちをこのカンファレンスに誘ってた。
People were doing outreach from few months ago in Shibuya and other cities.

1ヶ月前からアウトリーチキャンペーンをして、多くの日本人達も街へ出て行ってたくさんの人にフリーチケットを渡してカンファレンスに誘っていた。
One month before the conference, they did OUTREACH CAMPAIGN and many Japanese went out to hand out free tickes of Conference.

カンファレンス一日目も、みんな新宿に出て行ってたくさんの人たちを誘ってたんだよ！
Also on the first day of Conference the volunteers went out to invite people to come!

その成果があって、2日間にあたって400人の神様を知らない人たちが集まってくれた！！！　凄かった！
We saw the fruit of that. In 2 days, 400 non-Christians came!!! It was amazing!!!

ネクストレベルに入って日本人は気づいた。
The Japanese realised when they entered the next level.

「日本人だって日本人に伝えられる！！！」って。
"Japanese can reach out to the Japanese as well!"

教会の一人ひとりも気づいた。
And everyone in church realised,

「アウトリーチ（知らない人に伝えること）はプログラムとかに頼ることじゃなくて、ライフスタイルなんだ！」って。　
"Outreach is not about relying on programs but it's a lifestyle!"

そんなみんなが一致したとき、本当に凄いことが起きた。
So when these people got together, something amazing happened.

体を張ってます（笑）
We use anything to draw attention (LOL)

多くの人が興味をもってくれるんだよね。
So many people were actually interested

目立つ目立つ（笑）　He stood out (LOL)

ストリートライブをして、音楽を知ってもらいます！　教会に対する先入観もなくすため☆
We also do street band so people can get to know our music, to get rid of the image they already have about church.

ユースパスターのノボルくんがいったことが印象的だった。
What Noboru, our youth pastor shared struck me.

「ロド先生とか他の国からきてくれた皆が大きなヴィジョンを日本にもってくれてるのに、僕達日本人も彼らより大きなヴィジョンを自分の国にもたなくてどうするの？　日本人、たちあがろう！」
"Pastor Rod and other people who came from other countries have big vision for Japan... why don't us Japanese have a bigger vision than them towards our country? Japanese, it's time for you to get up!"

また、ゲストスピーカーのスティーブ・ケリー牧師も素晴らしかった！！！
Also our guest speaker, Pastor Steve Kelly was AWESOME!!!

スティーブ先生のアメリカにある教会では毎週200人が救われてる！　
In his church in America, 200 people are saved every week!!!

そんな凄いスティーブさんは日本を愛してくれてるから、今回、日本にきてくれた。　スティーブさんのメッセージからいっぱい吸収することができた。　
Pastor Steve came to Japan because he loves Japan. We were able to learn and absorb so much from his message! So Inspiring!

ルークはユースの分科会で、「次世代の教会をたちあげる」というテーマでシェアしたよ。　チームのたてあげかた、教会のカルチャーの作り方とか、すごいわかりやすくて実践的だった。　さすが、ルーク♪　
Luke shared about "Building the next generation church." How to build the team, how to build the culture. It was really simple and applicable! Luke is always great and inspiring! :)

他の教会からも、「学びたい！」という想いできてくれてる人たちがいて、嬉しかった☆　
We were happy to see people from other churches who were hungry to learn from us and grow!

ロド先生はいっつもいってる
Pastor Rod always says this

「私達は特別な教会になりたいわけではない。　私達がしていること、誰でもできるんだよっていって、日本の他の教会にノウハウをシェアしたい。」って☆　
"Our goal is not to become a SPECIAL church. I want to encourage other Japanese churches that they can do this and help them with what we've learnt."

ロド先生の器のでかさにいつも感心します。
I'm always inspired by Pastor Rod's big and generous heart.

個人的に凄い励まされたのは、確実に前進してるってこと。　前に凄かったことが今では当たり前になってる。
Personally I was really encouraged to see that we are always moving forward. What was miraculous before becomes normal.

今回二日間で４０人救われたのが凄かったことが、近いうちに当たり前になる。
So this time seeing 40 people saved in 2 days were amazing...! But in the close future that will become normal.　

そうやってどんどんレベルアップしていく。そして日本は変わっていく！
We will always move to the next level ! And Japan will change!

そしてやっぱり思った・・・
And I also thought...

大阪でもカンファレンス開きたい！！！！！！！！！って。
I really want to have a Conference in Osaka!!!!

遠い未来ではないって信じてるよ☆

ジーザスライフハウス カンファレンス ２００９！

今日から二日間、ジーザスライフハウスカンファレンス２００９にいってきます！
We have Jesus Lifehouse Conference from Today!!! for 2 days!

カンファレンスは年に1回行われる大イベントです！
Conference is a once a year event...! It's HUGE!

今年はアメリカ・バージニアビーチにあるメガチャーチ、Wave Churchからスティーブン・ケリー牧師がゲストとしてきてくれます！またJLH Tokyoの主任牧師、ロド・プラマーが
日本の教会、次世代のクリスチャンリーダーに向けて熱いメッセージを届けてくれます。
This year Pastor Steve Kelly, from Wave Church, the Mega Church is our special guest , and our senior Pastor Rod Plummer will also share his passion for the Japanese Church and for next generation Christian leaders!!!

今年のカンファレンスはまた次のレベルにあがってるよ！！！
This year's conference is going to be at a whole natha level!!!!!

まだカンファレンス話ひっぱらせてください（笑）
Sorry, let me talk a little bit more about the conference... (LOL)

今回のカンファレンスで、凄い嬉しい機会が与えられたのは、ユースの分科会とリーダーシップの分科会でアンドリュー・ホイス牧師の通訳ができたこと！
It was such a privilige to translate for Pastor Andrew Hoyes for Youth Stream and Leadership Stream during the Conference.

アンドリュー・ホイス牧師はジェネレーションチャーチというオーストラリアにある21世紀の最先端を行く、斬新でダイナミックな教会をリードしている。数年間で1000人以上が通うチャーチになったんだって。
Andrew Hoyes leads Generation Church, a fresh, dynamic, emerging 21st century church in Australia.The church has now grown to over 1000 people in only a few years.

ゲストスピーカーの通訳は私にとってかなりの挑戦です！
It's always challenging to translate for guest speakers.

本番直前に使う聖書箇所を教えてもらうのがやっとで、後は本番まで内容を知らないことが多い。
I ask them for the scriptures they will use but I rarely get to know what they are going to talk about beforehand.

そして、はじめて一緒に組む場合は、相手の話すスピード、区切る間、ユーモアのセンスになれていないから、さぐりさぐり話す感じ・・・。
So if I'm translating for them for the first time, I'm kind of adjusting to their pace, where they cut the sentences and their jokes...!

神様の助けがなかったらできません！本当です。　
I can't do it without God's help! It's true.

私にとっての通訳の意味でのネクストレベルはゲストスピーカーとまったく同じスピリットで、流れをとめないで訳すこと・・・！　そこを目指します！
My "next level"for my translation is speaking with the same spirit as the guest speakers, without stopping the flow. That is my goal :)

A person who receives support, advantage, or the like, from another or others without giving any useful or proper return, as one who lives on the hospitality of others. One who habitually takes advantage of the generosity of others without making any useful return.

弟子とは？　What is a　Protégé?

1. 弟子は、彼らのキャリアや人生に関心がある人達から支援、守り、ケアを受けている人々。
A person under the patronage, protection, or care of someone interested in his or her career or welfare.

2. 生活、トレーニングやキャリアが影響力のある人によって向上させられる人。
One whose welfare, training, or career is promoted by an influential person

3. 自分より優れている人から導かれ、守られている人。
A person guided and protected by a more prominent person.

But I thought it was so powerful to worship in Bilingual... because we are worshipping God in JAPAN!

ワーシップしている瞬間、会場にいる日本人、そして日本を愛している外国人の人たちと一つになった。
While we were worshipping God, all the Japanese and foreigners who love Japan, became ONE.

会場は神様の家になって、私たちは家族になった。
The place became God's house and we were all one big family.

ワーシップをしていた時、涙が出た。
I cried as I worshipped God...

招きの時間の時、たくさんの人が手をあげた。ジーザスを初めて受け入れる人、神様に戻っていく人、彼らの顔は全員輝いていた。
So many people raised their hands during the alter call. People who received Jesus for the first time and people who came back to God were SHINING!!!

でも、神様は私にいった。 But God reminded me

「まだまだ、最高の時はこれからだよ！！！」
"The best is yet to come."

神様からすっごい確信を与えられた。
And God also told me,

神様は日本に最高の計画を用意してくれている！　これはただの「はじまり」。
God has a great plan for Japan!!! This is just the beginning!

これから凄い奇蹟をおこしてくれる！！！
He is going to perform more miracles!!!

最も小さい者も氏族となり、最も弱い者も強国となる。時が来れば、わたし、主が、すみやかにそれをする。(イザヤ 60:22)
The least of you will become a thousand, he smallest a mighty nation.  I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly." (Isaiah 60:22)

でも、そのためにはもっと日本人のリーダーが必要。
But in order to see this, we need more Japanese Leaders.

Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. (Isaiah 58:12)    

今いる場所を愛して、神様から与えられた使命をまっとうする・・・。それが最高の人生！！！
Love where you are right now and fulfill your destiny for GOD... That's the best way of life!!!!

3日目は、奉仕をしている人たちも顔つきが変わっていた。初めてのカンファレンスで、それぞれのチームに色々なチャレンジが与えられていたと思う。また朝から晩まで奉仕だから、体力的にもきつかった子もいると思う。
Every volunteers looked different on the third day. I believe that everyone faced many challenges as this was our very first conference. I'm sure some of them were challenged physically as we served from early in the morning to late night.

でも皆の顔に「疲れ」とか「苛立ち」とか、全くなかった。　喜びで満ち溢れていた。　チームとしての一体感も生まれていた。それだけじゃなくて、奉仕者も参加者も日本に対する熱い想いとビジョンで「一致」していた。
But no one looked tired or frustrated! They were filled with JOY! They were united as a team. Not only that, all the volunteers and participants shared the same spirit. They were all passionate about Japan!

神様がこのカンファレンスを計画して、実現させてくれた。　だから、色々な課題もクリアできたし、皆が次のレベルにあがっていった。
God made this conference possible...! That's why we were able to overcome challenges and reach the next level!

また鳥取とか北海道からもボランティアに参加してくれた皆ありがとう！！！！
And thank you for all of the people who came all the way from Tottoroi and Hokkaido just to volunteer!

チャーチは違っても、凄い一体感を感じました！　一緒に奉仕できて幸せだったよ。
Although there were some people who came from different churches we felt the unity. We were blessed serving with you all!

みんなの一体感と神様の力のおかげで、10時までにパックダウンは不可能といわれていたのが、間に合った！！！　凄い・・・！！！！
Because of God's power and great team work, we were able to pack up by 10pm! We thought we wouldn't make it...!!! That was amazing!!!

カンファレンスが終わった後も喜びはとまらず・・・　ロド先生が出てくると、ボランティアが一斉に拍手した。感動した！
Everyone was still excited after the conference... and when Pastor Rod came out, all the volunteers cheered him!!! I was moved!

ロド先生が、「みんな一人ひとりの助けがあって、実現できたカンファレンスだった。ありがとう。」といったとき、みんなジーンとしてた・・・。
Everyone was touched when Pastor Rod said, "This conference was successful because of each one of you! Thank you."

ヒルソングＵＮＩＴＥＤのワーシップも凄くよかった。
Ofcourse we love Hillsong United Worship as well...

だけど、英語と日本語両方で賛美するのって、凄い力強い。だって・・・ここは日本だもん！
But I thought it was so powerful to worship in Bilingual... because we are worshipping God in JAPAN!

ワーシップしている瞬間、会場にいる日本人、そして日本を愛している外国人の人たちと一つになった。
While we were worshipping God, all the Japanese and foreigners who love Japan, became ONE.

会場は神様の家になって、私たちは家族になった。
The place became God's house and we were all one big family.

ワーシップをしていた時、涙が出た。
I cried as I worshipped God...

招きの時間の時、たくさんの人が手をあげた。ジーザスを初めて受け入れる人、神様に戻っていく人、彼らの顔は全員輝いていた。
So many people raised their hands during the alter call. People who received Jesus for the first time and people who came back to God were SHINING!!!

でも、神様は私にいった。 But God reminded me

「まだまだ、最高の時はこれからだよ！！！」
"The best is yet to come."

神様からすっごい確信を与えられた。
And God also told me,

神様は日本に最高の計画を用意してくれている！　これはただの「はじまり」。
God has a great plan for Japan!!! This is just the beginning!

これから凄い奇蹟をおこしてくれる！！！
He is going to perform more miracles!!!

最も小さい者も氏族となり、最も弱い者も強国となる。時が来れば、わたし、主が、すみやかにそれをする。(イザヤ 60:22)
The least of you will become a thousand, he smallest a mighty nation.  I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly." (Isaiah 60:22)

でも、そのためにはもっと日本人のリーダーが必要。
But in order to see this, we need more Japanese Leaders.

使命をもった日本人が日本人に伝える。　たくさんの次世代の日本人が立ち上がって、この国をより素晴らしい国に変えていく・・・。
Japanese people with vision will reach out to the Japanese. Many next generation Japanese leaders will rise up and change Japan to a better nation!!! 

わたし達一人ひとり、日本人も外国人の人たちも、その動きの一部に加わってるんだよね・・・！！！
So us, all the Japanese and foreigners are a part of this great movement!!!

自分達が模範となって、バトンをどんどん渡していって、次の世代を育てていく責任が与えられてる。
We have the responsibility to become the role models of the next generation youth and hand over the baton to them!

あなたのうちのある者は、昔の廃墟を建て直し、あなたは古代の礎を築き直し、「破れを繕う者、市街を住めるように回復する者。」と呼ばれよう。 (イザヤ58:12)
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. (Isaiah 58:12)    

今いる場所を愛して、神様から与えられた使命をまっとうする・・・。それが最高の人生！！！
Love where you are right now and fulfill your destiny for GOD... That's the best way of life!!!!

3日目は、奉仕をしている人たちも顔つきが変わっていた。初めてのカンファレンスで、それぞれのチームに色々なチャレンジが与えられていたと思う。また朝から晩まで奉仕だから、体力的にもきつかった子もいると思う。
Every volunteers looked different on the third day. I believe that everyone faced many challenges as this was our very first conference. I'm sure some of them were challenged physically as we served from early in the morning to late night.

でも皆の顔に「疲れ」とか「苛立ち」とか、全くなかった。　喜びで満ち溢れていた。　チームとしての一体感も生まれていた。それだけじゃなくて、奉仕者も参加者も日本に対する熱い想いとビジョンで「一致」していた。
But no one looked tired or frustrated! They were filled with JOY! They were united as a team. Not only that, all the volunteers and participants shared the same spirit. They were all passionate about Japan!

神様がこのカンファレンスを計画して、実現させてくれた。　だから、色々な課題もクリアできたし、皆が次のレベルにあがっていった。
God made this conference possible...! That's why we were able to overcome challenges and reach the next level!

また鳥取とか北海道からもボランティアに参加してくれた皆ありがとう！！！！
And thank you for all of the people who came all the way from Tottoroi and Hokkaido just to volunteer!

チャーチは違っても、凄い一体感を感じました！　一緒に奉仕できて幸せだったよ。
Although there were some people who came from different churches we felt the unity. We were blessed serving with you all!

みんなの一体感と神様の力のおかげで、10時までにパックダウンは不可能といわれていたのが、間に合った！！！　凄い・・・！！！！
Because of God's power and great team work, we were able to pack up by 10pm! We thought we wouldn't make it...!!! That was amazing!!!

カンファレンスが終わった後も喜びはとまらず・・・　ロド先生が出てくると、ボランティアが一斉に拍手した。感動した！
Everyone was still excited after the conference... and when Pastor Rod came out, all the volunteers cheered him!!! I was moved!

ロド先生が、「みんな一人ひとりの助けがあって、実現できたカンファレンスだった。ありがとう。」といったとき、みんなジーンとしてた・・・。
Everyone was touched when Pastor Rod said, "This conference was successful because of each one of you! Thank you."

God, thank you for this AMAZING Conference.

一人ひとりあなたからのビジョンを受け取りました。　この受け取ったものをしっかりと握り締めて、次のレベルに上がります！！
Each one of us received VISION from you. We are going to hold on to this and rise to the next level!!!

そう・・・次のレベル・・・。 Yes, "NEXT LEVEL"!!!

もうすでに次のカンファレンスの予定が入ってます！！！！！
We are already planning to do the next conference!!!

初回よりも、もっともっと凄いものになります！！！　みんな、期待しようね！
It's going to be even better than our first one, so let's look forward to that!

カンファレンス3日目：ＪＬＨ ＬＥＡＤＥＲＳ

カンファレンス3日目！ Conference Day 3!!!

この日はジーザスライフハウスがメインでした！！！
We had mainly Jesus Lifehouse people on this day!

朝のセッションはロド先生が神様が日本と日本のチャーチにしている新しいことについて話してくれた。
In the morning session, Pastor Rod shared about the things that God is doing in Japan and the churches in Japan!

ロド先生の日本と日本人を愛する心は大きい。
Pastor Rod's love towards Japan and the Japanese is so big...

そのロド先生の心は、日本人が日本を愛すること！そして日本人がリーダーとなってこの国を変えることができるようにトレーニングすること。
And Pastor Rod's heart is to see Japanese loving Japan! And he wants to train the Japanese to become leaders to change this nation.

ロド先生が言った。Pastor Rod said this

神様は、　「私は今、新しいことをしているから、見なさい！」といっている。
"God is saying, "See I'm doing a new thing! He is saying check it out!!!" "

日本のリバイバルは一晩では起こらない。でも神様が今日本で新しいことをしていることを知る必要がある。そして、そのことを信じて、互いに励ます合うことが大事！
Revival of Japan is not going to happen over night. But we have to know that God is doing a new thing in Japan. And we have to believe in it and encourage each other.

ロド先生のメッセージから全員が刺激を受けたと思う。
I believe everyone was inspired hearing his message!

そして、パネルでは、ロド先生がジーザスライフハウスのリーダー達をインタビュー。　私も全員の通訳させてもらいました♪
And for the panel, Pastor Rod interviewed Jesus Lifehouse Key Leaders. I got to translate for everyone!

それぞれがいったことで印象に残ってることをここでちょっと紹介。
I'll just share with you the main things that they said.

まずは、Ｅさん。（カンファレンス等イベント運営担当でもあり、ワーシップリーダーでもあり、女性のミニストリーの担当）
First of all, E (She is in charge of organizing events including this conference, worship leader and also in charge of womens' Ministry)

「日本の若い女の子は自信がない子がたくさんいる。は表向きは明るくて、友達が多い子が多いけど、家に帰ってから落ち込んだり、空虚な気持ちになっている子が多い。彼女達は神様の愛を求めている。」
"Many young Japanese girls have low self esteem. They look fine on the surface, looking happy and they have many friends. But these girls, once they return home, they become depressed and feel empty. They are all looking for God's love."

「ジーザスライフハウス・ウィメンズのイベントでも、神様はわたし達を愛して、創ってくれたから自信をもって生きることができるということを伝えてる。そして、神様のことを知ってみたい！っていう人が結構いて、そこからクリスチャンになる子もいます。神様のことは真実なので、それを知りたいと思っている子がたくさんいます。」
"In our Jesus Lifehouse Womens' event, we share to these girls that God loves us and he made us so we can live with confidence. And some of these girls say that they want to know about God and some become Christians. I believe that so many people want to know about God, because He is so true."

りゅーたさん（アソシエイト牧師、男性のミニストリーにも力を入れている）
Ryuta (Associate Pastor, also in charge of Mens' Ministry)

「最初に教会の７０％が女性だと知った時、怒りを覚えました。男性に何かをしなければ！と思った。何が問題かと思ったら、強さがかけていると思った。強さというのはビジョン、意志、決断力や責任をもつこと。

日本の男性を真の男にするために力を入れてきた。そして、男性向けのメッセージを増やしたことにより、チャーチで強い男が増えてきた。そして女性との比率があってきた。そして女性も男性が増えたことによりハッピーなんです（笑）」

"When I realised that 70% of our members are women, I got upset! I felt that I had to do something about this! And I realised that this is happening because many men are lacking strength. Strength means having vision, strong will, decision making power and responsibilities.

So I tried to teach the Japanese men how to become a REAL MAN. I did this by preaching more about becoming a real man... and now we have stronger men in our church. Now we have about the same number of men as women. And because there are more men in church, women are happy...!(LOL)"

のぼるくん（ユース牧師、大学伝道担当）
Noboru (Youth Pastor, Leader of University Outreach)

「すべての人がイエスが必要だなって発見した。最近では、クリスチャンに対してオープンな若者が多い。神様の愛と恵みについて話すと、彼らは吸収する。それはどういうことかというと何か希望を求めて生きている人たちが多いということ。だからわたし達がしなければいけないことは、伝えるということ。そして彼らは聞く準備ができている。」

"I realised that everyone needs Jesus. There are so many people open to the Gospel. So when we share about God's love and grace, they really respond to it. What this means is that people are looking for hope. So what we need to do is to tell them about Jesus. And they are ready to hear about the truth."

「日本人に伝えられるのは外国人だけではない。外国人もフレンドリーな雰囲気作りにかかせないけど、日本人も、彼らと同じ立場として、日本人に伝えることができる！」　

"It's not only the foreigners who can reach out to the Japanese. We need the foreigners to create a friendly environment but the Japanese should be confident about reaching out to the Japanese!"

ダニエル（賛美牧師、音楽全般担当）
Daniel (Worship Pastor, in charge of Music)

「リーダーになった時にしたことはロド先生とワーシップチームのビジョンを書き出した。リーダーとして一番大切にしていることは、スキルを重視することだけではなくて、効果的に教会に仕えることなんです。なぜなら、自分の最善をつくして教会で仕えることに力を入れれば、レベルがあがっていくと信じているからです。」

"When I became a leader, I wrote down with Pastor Rod the Vision points of the team. My of my main job as a leader is not to focus on skills first, but to focus on serving Church effectively. Because if team has the heart to serve the church the best they can, the whole level will go up."

ルーク（ジーザスライフハウス大阪の牧師、今年始まったばかりなのに急成長しているチャーチ）
Luke (Pastor or Jesus Lifehouse Osaka. Jesus Lifehouse Osaka is growing really fast! It only started this year.)

「成功の秘訣は・・・僕達はスーパースターではありません。自分達ができるなら、他の誰でも同じことができると信じています。僕達は単純なことを凄くうまくやっているだけなんです。例えば、ライフグループをして、ジャーナルのつけ方を教えたり、祈り方を教えたり・・また大学伝道もしています。」
"The secret of our success is... well we are not superstars. I believe that if we can do this, anyone else can do this. We are just doing simple things really well. For example, Life Groups, teaching them how to journal, how to pray and doing alot of University Outreach."

「僕は常に、人々はオープンだと思っていました。でも、ここまでオープンだとは思っていなかったです！　毎週大学で、クリスチャンになりたいっていう人に出会うんです！」
"I always believed that people are open. But I never expected that they were this open!!! Every week at universities we meet people who want to become Christians."

メンバーがジーザスライフハウスリーダー達だったので、リラックスした雰囲気で、通訳するのが楽しかった♪　
Because all the speakers were from Jesus Lifehouse, the whole atmosphere was relaxed and it was really fun translating .

一人で全員通訳・・・呼吸の時間がない（笑）
I translated for everyone... had no time to breathe!(LOL)

そういったリラックスした雰囲気の中、ロド先生がいったことにみんな納得。
And we all agreed with what Pastor Rod shared.

「チャーチ＝楽しいという雰囲気が大事。わたし達は楽しい家族なので、常に互いのことを笑ってます。チャーチをジーザスライフハウスという風に名付けたのは、人々に悲しみの家から喜びの家にきてほしいからです。イエスに対しては真剣ですけど、それでも楽しむことができます！」

"Church should be fun! We laugh at each other because we are a FUNNY FAMILY.　We call our church Jesus Lifehouse because want people to come out of the house of sadness to a house of joy. We can be really serious about Jesus but we can have alot of fun! "

そうなんです・・・わたし達のチャーチはすっごく楽しいんです！！！　いつも笑いが耐えません☆
That's true... OUR CHURCH IS REALLY FUN!!! We always joke and laugh at each other!!!

また、ジーザスライフハウスは他の日本の教会の模範になり、手伝いという心がある。
Also, our church, Jesus Lifehouse is always willing to become a model and help other Japanese churches.

カンファレンス2日目：ＷＡＴＯＴＯ ワトト

カンファレンス2日目！ Conference Day 2!!!

この日の朝はヒルソングの主任牧師のブライアン・ヒューストン牧師をルークが10分間インタビューすることになっていて、私は通訳として付き添った。
For this morning, Luke was going to interview Pastor Brian Houston (Senior Pastor of Hillsong Church) for 10 minutes and I was asked to translate.

日本についての神様の計画はどういうものだと思うかとか色々聞いたんだけど・・・
We asked question like "What do you think God has in store for Japan?"

少し緊張した！！！　すごいカリスマ的な雰囲気があった。　彼の話しを通訳するという素敵な機会が与えられて嬉しかった（＾＾）
I was a little nervous! He was really charismatic... I was thankful that I was given this great opportunity to translate for him.

そして・・・　この日一番わたしが楽しみにしていたのは・・・
What I was really excited about on this day was...

ワトト・クワイヤー！！！！　Watoto Choir!!!!

ワトト・クワイヤはエイズで親を失ったアフリカ・ウガンダの孤児らによるゴスペルグループ。4－17歳の少年少女が、１９９４年以降、香港、米国、オーストラリアなど世界各地で公演している。ワトトとは、スワヒリ語で「子どもたち」、クワイヤーは「聖歌隊」の意味。

The Watoto Children’s Choir’s have toured internationally since 1994. These choirs bring a message of hope to many parts of the world which include countries such as Uganda, Australia, Canada, UK, USA, South Africa, Brazil, Israel, Germany and France. 私は、ワトトとワトトスタッフ担当だったんだ。
I was in charge of taking care of Watoto kids and their staffs

彼らがバスからおりてきた瞬間・・・
The moment they arrived and got off the bus...

あまりの可愛さにバックスタッフはみんな興奮！！！！
They were so cute that all the staffs got excited!!

そして元気！　And they were soooo active!

そして、ワトトのみんなはゲアリースキナー牧師が大好き！ゲアリー先生が奥さんと一緒にワトトをあげたんだよ。
And the Watoto kids looooved Pastor Gary Skinner. He was the one who started WATOTO with his wife.

ゲアリー先生が話しはじめると、子ども達がじっと耳を傾ける。本当にお父さんみたいな存在なんだな～って思って心が温かくなった。
Whenever Pastor Gary started sharing stories, the children were listening really carefully. I felt warm just seeing them loving Pastor Gary as their real father!

また、この子たち・・・本当にマナーがよかったんだよ！！！　ご飯食べ終わった後にホスピタリティーの子達に　

「ワトトから、みなさんに感謝の歌～！」っていって歌を歌ったんだって。

And they were sooo well behaved!!! After dinner, they said to the hospitality girls,

"WATOTO wants to thank you for all your hospitality! We will sing for you" and they sang a song to them.

これには、ホスピタリティーのメンバーは全員大号泣･･･！！！　あまりの嬉しさに20分ぐらい泣いてたとか（笑）

All the Hospitality girls were CRYING... FULL ON!!! They were crying for more than 20 minutes because they were sooo touched!

こんなにかわいくて明るい彼らだけど、色々な辛い過去をもっている。
They are sooo cute and energetic, but they went through hard times in the past...

ワトトのセッションの直前にいきなり頼まれたの。
I was suddenly asked before Watoto's session.

「子ども達が自分の話をみんなにするから、通訳してもらえる？」
"The children will share their stories to people, so can you translate for them??"

え・・・　わたし！？？？　ＭＥ？？？

正直、リハなしだったし、子ども達の英語がなまってたから少し不安だった。
To be honest, I was a little worried as I had no rehearsal and the children's English had accent...

ごめん、時間がないので、続きはまた後日！ Sorry I'm running out of time! I'll write about it more...later!

Our church, Jesus Lifehouse puts a great emphasis on building great relationships with God and people around us.

カンファレンスで印象に残ったのが、ジーザスライフハウスの人々が愛しあってる姿だという人たちもいました。
Many people said that they were impressed to see Jesus Lifehouse people loving each other alot.

Okay, let's talk about the first day of Conference!

初日は夜セッション6時開場だったけど、ボランティアが集まったのは朝8時45分！！！
The first session of the day started from 6pm but the volunteers met up around 8:45 am in the morning on this day!

みんな早朝なのに、わくわくしていて元気いっぱい！
It was really early in the morning but because everyone was excited, they were so energetic!

ボランティアのほとんどがジーザスライフハウスメンバーだけど、鳥取や札幌からきてくれた人たちもいた！！！　みんな、ありがとう！
Most of the volunteers were from Jesus Lifehouse but we had people from Totori and Sapporo! Thank you all!!!

ちなみに私もバックステージでした・・・！　チームEです！！！　ようは何でも屋だったんだ（笑）
By the way, I was part of the backstage group! TEAM "E"!!! Well, I was there to do anything!

みんなでセットアップは本当に楽しかったよ！！！　これから夜にどれぐらいの人がくるんだろう～ってわくわくした!
It was soooo fun to do set up together! We were excited about just thinking how many people would come on the night!

そして・・・　感謝なのが、ボランティアルームをケアしてくれていたチーム！
And I really want to thank those who were taking care of the Volunteer Room!

みんなでワイワイお昼！ 　Having lunch together was fun....!!!!

そして、時間はあっという間に過ぎ、夜のセッションが近づいた。
And time flied so quickly and the night session was about to start

午後のボランティアラリー！　ブルーのボランティアシャツが集合してすごかった（笑）
Afternoon Volunteer Rally! It was amazing to see so many Volunteer Blue Shirts!!!

そして・・・　私、いきなりジャレッド監督からアイスブレイクの出演を頼まれた！
And.... I was suddenly asked to be in the Icebreaker by Director Jared!

アイスブレイクとは、本番前にみんなを和ませるショートプログラムみたいな感じ。
Icebreaker is like a short program just to create a good atmopshere before the actual session.

聖書クイズで間違えた人（私はまりん担当♪）を聖書で叩くこと（ｗ
to hit the person (I was in charge of Marin) with the Bible if she gets it wrong! (LOL)

ルークも出演！　リッキーとゆーじくんのコンビがすごいテンションだった（ｗ
Luke was in it too! Ricky and Yuji were hyper!

超楽しかったよ！　普段つっこまれることあっても、つっこむことないからね（笑
It was sooo fun! I usually get hit or get corrected... so it was good to change roles (LOL)

そしてお待ちかねの・・・UNITED!!!!
And finally United Live began...!!!!

UNITEDのワーシップは力強かった！

初日のカンファレンスは１０００人以上の人が参加し、２階席まで埋め尽くされたよ！
More than 1000 people came on the first day and the we were able to fill the seats on the 2nd floor!

会場にいた皆が心から賛美していて、励まされた！
I was really encouraged to see people worshipping God from all of their hearts!

それぞれ教会も違う。　バックグラウンドも違う。　年齢も違う。
Perhaps some of them come from different churches. Some of them have different backgrounds and are from different age groups... 

でも・・・　心は一つだった。
But we were united.

同じジーザスを信じていて、同じ神様を愛している。　そしてこの国、日本の将来を信じている。
We believe in the same Jesus and love the same God. And we believe in the future of Japan!

神様は日本を愛していて、最高の計画を用意してくれてる！！！
God loves Japan and He has the best plan for Japan!!!!

多くの人がその約束を受け取った瞬間だった。
And I believe many people received that promise.

忘れていた人は、再び取り戻した瞬間だった。
For those who had forgotten His great promise, they were reminded again.

ブライアン・ヒューストン牧師が言った。　「神様は奇蹟をおこせる。何もないところから、何かを始めたいと思っている。神様がしようとしていることを過小評価しないこと！」
Pastor Brian Houston said, "God can do something miraculous. He wants to do something from nothing. Don't underestimate what God can do!"

そして、最後にフォローアップといって、ジーザスを受け入れたい人やもう一度神様に戻って来たい人をケアしたんだけど・・・たくさんの人が手をあげた！
Also I was involved in Follow up, taking care of those who wanted to receive Jesus for the first time or come back to God... And many people raised their hands!

それぞれホールに出てきてもらって、フォローアップリーダーが「今日から皆さん、クリスチャンです！！！おめでとうございます！！！」って歓迎したんだけど、感動して泣いている子達がたくさんいた。みんな喜んでたよ。
We asked them to come out to the hall and the follow up leader announced, "Congratulations!!! You are all Christians from today!" And I saw many people crying and rejoicing!

私がフォローした子は、再びジーザスを受け入れたいっていう子で、救いの祈りを一緒にした。　彼女は心が安心したといって泣いていた。
The girl who I talked to wanted to come back to God, so we prayed the prayer of salvation together. She cried, saying that she was feeling peace!!!

みんなの輝いた顔をみて、もっとたくさんの日本人の救いが見たい！！！って心から思った。　それもうちのチャーチだけではなくて、日本中の教会が立ち上がり一緒に日本を変えていきたい！！！
As I was looking at these shining faces I thought that I want to see more Salvation!!! I want to see salvation all over Japan... not just in our church but in all the churches in Japan!!! We can change Japan together!

カンファレンス前・・・ Before the Conference...

カンファレンス前のジーザスライフハウス事務局は大忙しでした！！！
Jesus Lifehouse Office before the Conference was really busy!!!!!

オフィスの皆がここまで忙しかったことはないよってぐらいやること盛りだくさん！
We never seen the staffs being sooooo busy (LOL)

私もこんなに電話したことがないってぐらい電話したり、メールを書いてました。
I never called so many number of people and replied to sooo many emails!

でも、うちのチャーチってすごいんです！
But our church is amazing!!!

このカンファレンスを準備するのに、たくさんのボランティアの子達がきてくれたの！！！
We had many volunteers who came to the office just to help us prepare for the conference.

社会人も働いた後にオフィスにきて、手伝ってくれた人たちもいた。　
Some people came after work to help out.

みんなが来てくれたから、すごい速いペースで終わったよ！
Because so many people came to help, we were able to finish some tasks faster than we expected!

楽しそうだった！They were having fun!

この二人は本当～～～～～～～～～に凄いがんばってた・・・！！！！　ありがとう！けーこさん、さっちゃん・・・。
They were working sooooooooooooooo hard.... thank you Keiko and Sachi!!!!

STUMI・・・　本当にスティーブンのビデオ感動物だったね・・・！！！おつかれさま！
Cute Stumi couple :) Steven's video was soooooo good!!! Thank you for your hard work!!!

イベント運営が上手い二人！　まみちゃんとシェリー。
They are good at coordinating events!! Mami and Shelley!

この3人も本当にありがとう～！！！！　マイケルは朝から晩までいてくれたよ！
I want to thank these 3 as well!! Especially Michael, who helped from morning til night!

大阪からレイチェル、アメリカからきたＭＩＷＡ、そしてＥＭＩ。　
Rach from JLH Osaka, Miwa who just came from America and Emi!

みんな楽しそうな顔してるでしょ？　We are all looking happy!

そして、ここにのせてないけど、この他にもたくさんの人がオフィスにきて手伝ってくれたの！！！
I couldn't take the photos of some people, but so many people came to help us!!!

そして、差し入れをたくさんしてくれる人たちもいた・・・！！！本当に感動したよ！
And some people just dropped by to give us food...!!!! We were really touched!

あらためて、カンファレンス一つ実現させるのも、こんなにたくさんの人たちの協力があるからなんだ・・・って思ったよ☆
I realised again that so many people are involved to make the conference happen.

手伝ってくれたみんなに心からありがとうっていいたい！！！みんな最高だよ！！！みんなの家族でいられて幸せです（＾＾）
I just want to thank those who have helped!!!! You are all AWESOME!!! I'm sooo blessed to be your family!!!!

BEST CONFERENCE!!!

ジーザスライフハウスカンファレンス・・・・凄かった！！！！
Jesus Lifehouse Conference was... AMAZING!!!!

参加した人のＭＩＸＩやブログ読んで、それぞれチャレンジが与えられ、喜びを体験して、次のレベルにあがっていたのがビシビシ伝わってくる！
Reading other peoples' blogs and mixi posts I can feel that people have faced many challanges, experienced joy and moved to the next level!

カンファレンス直後の今日のチャーチの雰囲気も・・・いつも以上に凄かった！！！みんなの表情が違うの！凄い輝いてた！
The atmosphere of the church today was phenomenal!!! Everyone looked different!!! People were shining!

UNITEDとかブライアン、ワトト、ギャリスキナー、アンドリュー・ホイスとか凄いゲストがたくさんでてくれて、みんな素晴らしかったんだけど・・・・
We had great guests such as UNITED, Pastor Brian, Watoto, Pastor Gary Skinner, Pastor Andrew Hoyes... but...

一番感動したのは、みんなのボランティア精神！！！！　他の人たちもいってた！
the highlight for me was the volunteer spirit!!! Others are saying the same.

   

ほんとうに皆最高だよ～！！！！！！
You all are champions!!!!
